Abstract

This study aims to determine, the self-concept of junior high school students in the city of Yogyakarta and description of the mentoring model for junior high school students in Yogyakarta city based on adolescent self concept. The research method used quantitative method, with descriptive statistical technique. The population of this research is all junior high school students in Yogyakarta city from 15 State Junior High School and 42 Private Junior High. The results is first, the self-concept of students is balanced between those who have low self-concept (222 people: 49.4%), with high self-concept (227 people: 50,6%). Second, from the self concept aspects, the results obtained, have: a) high self-concept/academic self as much as 262 students (58.4%); b) family self concept as high as 257 students (57.2%); c) high physical self-concept, ie 250 students (55.7%); d) low self-concept moral ethics there are 220 students (49%); e) low social self-concept there are 220 students (49%); f) Low self-concept personal there are 216 students (48.1%). Third, the low-tendentious concept of self is ethical-moral, social and personal, then approaches are used for the assistance: a) from the side of interpersonal communication:  Self-fulfilling prophecy; opened self; self confidence; and selectivity; b) in terms of interaction style, by developing an enabling interaction style; c) in terms of guidance and counseling services by forming individual guidance and group guidance. Abstrak             Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk  mengetahui konsep diri remaja siswa SMP se kota Yogyakarta dan deskripsi model pendampingan bagi remaja siswa SMP se kota Yogyakarta berdasar konsep diri remaja. Melalui metode kuantitatif, dengan teknik statistik deskriptif.  Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa SMP se kota Yogyakarta dari 15 SMP Negeri dan 42 SMP Swasta.  Hasil penelitian adalah, pertama, konsep diri  siswa berimbang antara yang memiliki konsep diri  yang rendah  (222 orang: 49.4%),  dengan yang memiliki konsep diri yang tinggi (yaitu 227 orang: 50.6%). Kedua, dari aspek-aspek konsep diri, diperoleh hasil, yang memiliki: a) konsep diri kerja/akademik yang tinggi sebanyak 262 siswa (58.4%); b) konsep diri keluarga yang tinggi sebanyak 257 siswa (57.2%); c) konsep diri fisik yang tinggi, yaitu 250 siswa (55.7%); d) konsep diri etik moral yang rendah  ada 220 siswa (49%); e) konsep diri sosial yang rendah ada 220 siswa (49%); f) konsep diri personal yang rendah ada 216 siswa (48.1 persen). Ketiga, konsep diri yang cenderung rendah adalah konsep diri etik-moral, sosial dan personal, maka digunakan pendekatan bagi pendamping: a) dari sisi komunikasi interpersonal: Nubuat yang dipenuhi sendiri; membuka diri; percaya diri; dan selektivitas; b) dari sisi gaya interaksi, dengan mengembangkan gaya interaksi yang mendorong (enabling); c) dari sisi layanan bimbingan dan konseling dengan membentuk  bimbingan kelompok dan  bimbingan individual.

Abstract

Televisi merupakan produk teknologi yang maju pesat dewasa ini. Di Indonesia beberapa stasiun televisi swasta mengudara secara nasional. Tayangan program televisi terbanyak terutama televisi ssasta adalah film produk luar negeri, hal ini selain memiliki daya tarik kuat bagi penonton juga biaya pembelian produksi relatif lebih murah.

Abstract

In the long history of developmental psychology and especiallythat related to moral development, Kohlberg has been considered theforemost developerof moral studies although some great thinkersbefore him has inspired him. Along withG.H. Mead's and Baldwin'stheories, Piaget's theories have influenced him the most.Kohlberg has been influencedby Piaget especially in his twobasic ideasof cognitive and sequential mental structure. He hasdefined moralityas a structure of justice, in which the end of anymoral action, guidance, and sanction should guarantee individualjustice. This moral conceptof justice implies emphasis on humanconditions like equality, freedom, reciprocity, and appreciation.oflife. Truth is universal to all. In addition, Kohlberg has stated that theessential moral principle is thatthe principle ofjustice and this is thereason for any actionso that Kohlberg gives more emphasis on thedevelopmentof moral reasoning. The development of moralreasoning requires the occurrenceof cognitive development, socialrole-taking, and socio-cognitive conflict.In the course of developing his theories, Kohlberg has beenfaced with some criticism, especially on his measurements, which,when appliedto women, tend to place them on low-stage positions

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui 1) upaya-upaya yang telah dilakukan orangtua dalam mencintai produk Indonesia pada anak usia dini, dan 2) model pendidikan kebangsaan kepada anak usia dini.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian R D dengan populasi penelitian adalah keluarga yang mempunyai anak usia sampai dengan 6 tahun sebagai warga Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta dengan sampel penelitian menggunakan multistage sampling. Hasil penelitian ini adalah 1) Upaya yang paling banyak dilakukan orang tua kepada anak untuk mencintai produk Indonesia dengan cara mengenalkan budaya Indonesia (55,07%).Upaya paling banyak dilakukan orang tua untuk mengenalkan kepada anak produk Indonesia dengan cara menggunakan atau memakai produk Indonesia (68,12%). 2) Ditemukan model pendidikan kebangsaan kepada anak usia dini dalam bentuk:(a) ToT untuk guru tentang bagaimana mendampingi anak dalam memilih produk dalam negeri. (b) Pelatihan dan pendampingan untuk orangtua untuk memperkenalkan bagaimana cinta produk dalam negeri.(c) Penyusunan modul pembelajaran kepada anak dalam memilih produk Indonesia

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out parent efforts to build young children character, parent behavior to choose daily needs and to develop model of character building by selection of products on young children. This is a survei and mixed method model. The results of this study were (1) Parent skill in choosing Indonesian product are poor 25.1%, fail or medium 53.9%, and good 21% product selectivity. The most committed effort by parent to make their children love Indonesia product. The second place is by introducing Indonesian product to their children by using and wearing Indonesian product. Parent is easier Indonesian product by seeing the brand. Parent find it is difficult to identify Indonesian product in the global era.

Abstract

Akhir-akhir ini di Indonesia terjadi permasalahan dalam banyak ranah (area). Di ranah politik, hukum dan pemerintahan terjadi kasus korupsi. Korupsi sudah merebak di segala lini. Di ranah pendidikan, terjadi kasus plagiarisme di Perguruan Tinggi (2010), kasus kenaikan pangkat guru yang instan dengan cara karya-karya tulis guru sebagai syarat kenaikan pangkat dibuatkan oleh pihak lain (2009), kecurangan yang terjadi pada saat menghadapi UN yang dilakukan oleh semua elemen (2009 2010). Di tingkat sekolah dasar dan menengah, banyak terjadi kasus-kasus kekerasan antar anak (bullying) maupun tawuran.

Abstract

This research aims to examine disaster communication performed by the community of Turgo, Purwobinangun, Pakem. Sleman. The research was conducted utilizing a qualitative method, and the data were collected through interviews and Focus Group Discussions. The research objects include the community members living in Turgo consisting of teenagers, adults, the elderly, the search and rescue (SAR) team, and village heads. The research results show that the people living in Turgo utilize many sources of information in accessing disaster information, including surveillance and reconnaissance posts (wastai posts), social media, interpersonal communication, and group communication. The information is delivered through Whatsapp Group, Youtube, Twitter, Instagram, direct/ face-to-face communication, traditional bamboo slit drum (kentongan), motorcycle horns, and speakers. In addition, the resident's response is very positive in responding to any call/order from the authorities. In other words, no citizen rejected the call given. Also, opinion leaders do not have a significant role in disaster communication. The SAR team has a higher position than the opinion leader as they know the conditions in the field better

Abstract

The focus of this research is to examine the communication techniques between parents and children in the context of parenting and giving advice (sharenting) for the prevention of children or adolescents' delinquency. The informants of this research were students, teachers, parents, and community leaders from two countries (Indonesia and Malaysia). Data were collected utilizing the focus group discussion techniques via Zoom meeting platform. Data were analyzed using interactive analysis which includes four stages, namely: data collection, data reduction, display data, and drawing a conclusion/verification. The results show that parenting and sharenting communication are strategic forums to guide adolescents to avoid various forms of deviant behavior, especially delinquency. The communication techniques applied consist of persuasive and in certain conditions coercive communication techniques are utilized. Communication barriers include the lack of commitment of some parents in carrying out comprehensive communication.

Abstract

Abstrak: Evaluasi Program Pelatihan Keterampilan Dasar Komunikasi Bagi Siswa di SMKN 1 Godean Sleman. Studi evaluasi ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap keefektifan program pelatihan keterampilan dasar komunikasi bagi siswa Kelas XI Kompetensi Keahlian Administrasi Perkantoran SMKN 1 Godean Sleman. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian evaluasi dengan menggunakan model evaluasi program pelatihan dari Kirkpatrick yang mencakup empat tahap: reaction, learning, behavior, result. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif.  Subjek penelitian adalah peserta pelatihan dan pendampingan keterampilan dasar komunikasi. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara dan pengamatan. Analisis data menggunakan teknik interaktif dari Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian mengungkap: (1) Reaction : tanggapan peserta terhadap pelatihan sangat positif, karena mendukung kompetensi siswa; (2) Learning: menunjukkan peserta memperoleh sumber belajar dan pengalaman dari pelatihan; (3) Behavior: adanya perubahan keterampilan dalam berkomunikasi; (4) Result: meningkatnya keterampilan berkomunikasi dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.  Abstract: AN EVALUATION OF COMMUNICATION BASIC SKILLS TRAINING PROGRAM AT SMK N 1 GODEAN SLEMAN. This evaluation research aims to investigate the effectiveness of the basic communication skills training program for students of grade XI of Office Administration Skills Competency at SMK 1 Godean Sleman. This research is evaluation research employing Kirkpatrick's training program evaluation model which includes four stages, namely: reaction, learning, behavior, and results. This research utilizes a qualitative approach. The research subjects include participants of training and mentoring of basic communication skills. Data collection uses interview and observation techniques. Data were analyzed using an interactive technique of Miles and Huberman.
