Cognitive abilities and aspective abilities have an important role in the process of learning mathematics. One important cognitive ability is the ability to solve mathematical problems, while an important aspect ability in learning mathematics is student self-efficacy. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of self-efficacy on students' mathematical problem-solving abilities in elementary schools. This research is a quantitative research. The population of this research is 6th grade of SD Negeri 5 Pecangaan academic year 2022/2023, Jepara distric and the sample in this study consisted of 25 students. The research instruments used in this study were tests of mathematical problem solving abilities and self-efficacy questionnaires. The results showed that self-efficacy had an effect on students' mathematical problem-solving abilities. Based on the regression test analysis technique that has been carried out, it was found that the problem-solving ability variable can be explained or influenced by the self-efficacy variable of 66.8%, while 33.2% of students' mathematical problem-solving ability level is influenced or can be explained by variables other than self-efficacy.
