Kata Kunci : Post Operasi, Relaksasi Napas Dalam, Guided ImageryPain is a state of discomfort both mild and severe. There is a feeling that causes tension and torment for those who experience it. Sometimes patients cry and endure the pain they experience. Pain is brief (acute pain) and there is a long nature (chronic pain). The provision of non-pharmacological therapy can relieve pain including the provision of breath relaxation techniques and guided imagery therapy. The purpose of the study was to determine the difference in the level of pain reduction in patients given deep breath relaxation technique therapy and guided imagery. This type of research is quantitative research with a quasi experimental two group pretest-posttest control design method. The total population was 174 and made a sample of 30 divided into two groups where 15 samples for deep breath relaxation therapy and 15 samples for Guided Imagery therapy. The research instruments used were questionnaires, observation sheets, numeric rating scales, deep breath relaxation technique therapy SOPs and guided imagery therapy SOPs. Data collection time on August 15 to August 20, 2023. This research was conducted in the surgical ward of Pertamedika Ummi Rosnati hospital. The conclusion of the results showed that there was an effect on the level of pain reduction for deep breath relaxation therapy with a P value of 0.000. There is an effect on the level of pain reduction for Guided Imagery therapy P Value 0.030. It is recommended for nurses to collaborate in providing deep breath relaxation therapy and Guided Imagery therapy in reducing the degree of pain felt by patients. Keywords : Postoperative, Deep Breath Relaxation, Guided Imagery
