Abstract

Abstrak: Kota Palembang terkenal dengan kuliner khasnya, pempek, yang sangat diminati oleh wisatawan. Potensi ini menciptakan peluang usaha yang signifikan, terutama bagi ibu rumah tangga yang menghadapi kesulitan ekonomi. Pelatihan pembuatan pempek bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan peserta dalam membuat pempek skala jual, guna mendukung peningkatan ekonomi keluarga. Metode pelaksanaan terdiri dari empat tahap, yaitu Persiapan, yang mencakup perencanaan program, penentuan peserta, persiapan tempat dan logistik; Pelaksanaan, yang meliputi pembukaan program pelatihan, pelatihan keterampilan teknis dan simulasi usaha; Evaluasi, analisis kebutuhan, tindak lanjut, pendampingan dan dukungan berkelanjutan. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan Kualitas Produk memperoleh nilai tertinggi dengan rata-rata 8,9, sedangkan Konsistensi Produk mendapatkan nilai terendah yaitu 6,5, yang mengindikasikan ukuran dan bentuk produk masih belum seragam. Berdasarkan temuan ini, maka disarankan untuk melanjukan Tindakan lanjutan, seperti mentoring, pelatihan lanjutan, serta bantuan modal usaha, guna meningkatkan keterampilan dan keberhasilan usaha peserta.Abstract: The city of Palembang is renowned for its signature dish, pempek, which is highly popular among tourists. This creates significant business opportunities, particularly for housewives facing economic difficulties. The pempek-making training aims to enhance participants' skills in producing pempek for commercial purposes, thereby supporting family economic improvement. The implementation method consists of four stages: Preparation, which includes program planning, participant selection, and venue and logistics preparation; Execution, which involves the opening of the training program, technical skill training, and business simulations; Evaluation, which includes needs analysis, follow-up actions, mentoring, and continuous support. The evaluation results show that Product Quality received the highest score, with an average of 8.9, while Product Consistency scored the lowest at 6.5, indicating that the size and shape of the products are still inconsistent. Based on these findings, it is recommended to continue with follow-up actions such as mentoring, advanced training, and financial support to further improve participants' skills and business success.
