<![CDATA[Abstrak: Kader merupakan garda terdepan yang melakukan edukasi pada orang tua bayi, termasuk mengajak mereka melakukan imunisasi rotavirus untuk mencegah diare berat pada bayi. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang rotavirus dan keterampilan komunikasi antarpribadi (KAP) kader posyandu. Metode kegiatan menggunakan praktik edukasi KAP secara berkelompok dengan topik imunisasi rotavirus. Sepuluh orang kader posyandu di Puskesmas Balocci, Sulawesi Selatan, menjadi partisipan dalam kegiatan ini. Evaluasi pre-test dan post-test menggunakan kuesioner tentang imunisasi rotavirus dan teknik dasar metode KAP. Hasil analisis paired t-test menunjukkan tidak terdapat perbedaan yang berarti pada pengetahuan imunisasi rotavirus (p=0,121) dan metode KAP (p=0,443) kader posyandu sebelum dan setelah orientasi komunikasi antarpribadi. Penting untuk melakukan pelatihan berkelanjutan guna meningkatkan kapasitas kader posyandu dalam melakukan edukasi untuk meningkatkan cakupan imunisasi.Abstract: The cadres are at the forefront of educating parents, including encouraging them to obtain rotavirus immunization to prevent severe diarrhea in infants. This activity aims to enhance the knowledge about rotavirus and interpersonal communication (IPC) skills of posyandu cadres. The method employed was group IPC education practice on the topic of rotavirus immunization. Ten posyandu cadres at Puskesmas Balocci, South Sulawesi, participated in this activity. Pre-test and post-test evaluations utilized questionnaires regarding rotavirus immunization and fundamental techniques of the IPC method. The results of paired t-test analysis demonstrated no significant difference in rotavirus immunization knowledge (p=0.121) and IPC methods (p=0.443) of posyandu cadres before and after interpersonal communication orientation. It is crucial to conduct continuous training to enhance the capacity of posyandu cadres in conducting education to improve immunization coverage.]]>
