Abstract

The problem in this research is the lack of social emotional development of children in Aisyiyah Cambaya Kindergarten, Gowa Regency. This research aims to improve children's social emotional development through the traditional game of coconut shell stilts. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which consists of two cycles where each meeting is held three times. The research procedure includes implementation planning, observation and reflection. The subjects of this research were group B children of Aisyiyah Kindergarten Cambaya Gowa Regency with a total of 15 children consisting of boys and girls. Data collection techniques are observation sheets and documentation. The data analysis used is descriptive qualitative. Each cycle experienced an increase, the results of the research showed that in the first cycle of 15 children in improving their numeracy skills, the average score of the children was at the Starting to Develop (MB) criteria, while in the second cycle the average child obtained Very Good Developing abilities (BSB). ). Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded that the social emotional development of early childhood at Aisyiyah Cambaya Kindergarten, Gowa Regency through the medium of coconut shell stilts has increased.
