Pengaruh Pendekatan Kontekstual terhadap Hasil Belajar IPA Siswa SD

Abstract

The problem in this research is the low of science learning result of grade V student of SD Negeri 6 Metro Utara. The purpose of this research was to know the influence of contextual approach to the result of V grade student science. The type of the research was experiment research. The design used in this research was quasi experimental design. Population research is all of students V grade, the sample consists 26 students VA class and 27 student VB class. The determination of research sample used purposive sample. Data collection tools used cognitive tests. The data analysis was used t-test pooled varians. The learning results of this research was limited only to the cognitive domain. The result showed that there was a significant influence on the application of contextual approach to the students science learning outcomes.Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas V SD Negeri 6 Metro Utara. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendekakatan kontekstual terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas V. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen. Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah quasi experimental design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V, sampel terdiri dari 26 siswa kelas VA dan 27 siswa kelas VB. Penentuan sampel penelitian menggunakan purposive sample. Alat pengumpul data menggunakan tes kognitif. Analisis data uji statistik t-test pooled varians. Hasil belajar dalam penelitian ini dibatasi hanya pada ranah kognitif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pada penerapan pendekakatan kontekstual terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas V.Kata kunci: kontekstual, hasil belajar, IPA.
