Pengembangan Media Chemopoly Game Struktur Atom untuk Meningkatkan Aktivitas dan Ketuntasan Belajar Siswa Kelas X di SMA Negeri 4 Banda Aceh

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian yang berjudul “Pengembangan  Media Chemopoly Game pada Materi Struktur Atom untuk  Meningkatkan Aktivitas dan Ketuntasan Belajar Siswa Kelas X di SMA Negeri 4 Banda Aceh” bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengembangan media, aktivitas siwa, dan ketuntasan belajar siswa. Jenis penelitian  ini adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan desain pengembangan ADDIE, yaitu (i) Analysis, (ii) Design, (iii) Development, (iv) Implementation, dan (v) Evaluation dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif. Uji coba penelitian dilakukan di SMAN 4  Banda Aceh di kelas X IA 1 dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 29 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan media chemopoly game mendapatkan validitas dengan kelayakan berdasarkan 3 aspek yaitu, aspek tampilan media, aspek pembelajaran dan aspek isi dengan persentase berturut-turut 95%, 89,5% dan 96,8%. Validasi produk dilakukan oleh 2 orang validator yaitu 2 orang dosen Pendidikan Kimia Universitas Syiah Kuala.  Uji coba siswa terhadap pengembangan media chemopoly game untuk aktivitas siswa tergolong aktif  dengan persentase rata-rata 93%. Ketuntasan belajar  siswa diperoleh sebesar 79,3%. Berdasarkan deskripsi tersebut, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa media chemopoly game layak digunakan dan dapat diimplementasikan dalam proses pembelajaran dengan materi struktur atom. Kata kunci : chemopoly game, aktivitas siswa, ketuntasan belajar, struktur atom AbstractA research entitled “The Development of Chemopoly Game Media in Teaching Atomic Structure to Increase Students’ Activity and Achievement for Tenth Grade Students in SMA Negeri 4 Banda Aceh” was aimed to figure out how the development of a media, students’ activity and students’ achievement. This study was formed in qualitative method and presented in developmental research with ADDIE design, namely (1) Analysis, (2) Design, (3) Development, (4) Implementation, and (5) Evaluation. The data were collected from a sample of 29 students from class X IA 1 in SMA Negeri 4 Banda Aceh. The finding of the research indicated that the development of chemopoly game media was valid as refer to three aspects, viz. media display, learning aspects and contents. The percentages of the three were 95%, 89,5% and 96,8%. Respectively the validity of the product has been tested by two validators and also as the lecturers from study program of chemical education of Syiah Kuala University. From the research, it showed that the students were counted as active since the percentage is 93%. Moreover, there is 79,3% of students who are able to pass the minimum grade. Based on the preceding elaboration, the result of this study then concludes that chemopoly game media was acceptable to be used and implemented in classroom activity in teaching atomic structure. Keywords: chemopoly game, students’ activity, achievement, atomic structure
