Purpose of the research is to know increasing activity and study result mathematic of fifth grader student in SD Negeri Karang Sari by implement cooperative learning model tipe rotating trio exchange using. Type of the research method is class activity research with stage in every cycle is planning, implementation, observing and reflection. Tool used to collect the data is observation page and test questioner, data analysis technique use to analyze the data is qualitative and quantitative. Research result show that implementation of rotating trio exchangein cooperative learning model can increase activity and study result of student mathematic.Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan aktivitas dan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas lima di SD Negeri Karang Sari dengan menerapkan model cooperative learning tipe rotating trio exchange. Jenis metode penelitian adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan tahapan setiap siklus, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Alat pengumpul data berupa lembar observasi dan soal tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model cooperative learning tipe rotating trio exchange dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar matematika siswa.Kata kunci: rotating trio exchange, aktivitas, hasil belajar
