Pengaruh Project Based Learning terhadap Peningkatan Kemampuan Berpikir Kreatif dan Self-efficacy

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Project Based Learning on self-efficacy and the ability to think creatively. The study design used non-equivalent pretest-posttes. The samples in the study were VIIH class as a control class and VIIE class as an experiment. Data on self-efficacy were obtained through a scale that were analyzed qualitatively. The ability of creative thingking obtained from the pretest, posttest and assessment of creative products which were analyzed using the Independent Sample t-Test. The results of the study showed that the ability creative thingking in the experimental class was is "High". The experimental class on Self-efficacy assesment was higher than the control class with the highest indicator that was social with result on "High" while in the control class that on  "Medium". Thus, the application of the Project Based Learning model has an effect on increasing the self-efficacy and creative thinking abilities of students.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan pengaruh Project Based Learning terhadap self-efficacy dan kemampuan berpikir kratif. Desain penelitian menggunakan pretest-posttes non-equivalen. Sampel dalam penelitian yaitu kelas VIIH sebagai kelas kontrol dan kelas VIIE sebagai eksperimen dengan Purposive Sampling. Data self-efficacy diperoleh melalui skala yang dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif. Kemampuan berpikir kreatif diperoleh dari pretes, postest dan penilaian produk kreatif yang dianalisis menggunakan uji Independent Sample t-Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa katagori kemampuan berpikir kreatif kelas eksperimen adalah “Tinggi”. Penilaian diri self-efficacy kelas eksperimen juga lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol dengan indikator tertinggi yaitu sosial pada kelas eksperimen yaitu “Tinggi” sedangkan pada kelas kontrol yaitu “Sedang”. Dengan demikian bahwa penerapan model Project Based Learning berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan self-efficacy dan kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik. Kata kunci: kemampuan berpikir kreatif, project based learning, self-efficacy
