<![CDATA[ABSTRAKRepublik Indonesia sebagai negara hukum sebagaimana tertuang dalam UUD NRI Tahun 1945 Pasal 1 ayat (3). Kebijakan yang mereduksi regulasi, governance (tata pemerintahan) dan risk (risiko) merupakan hukum yang ideal dalam bentuk mengawal dari upaya menghindari kemerosotan akan kepercayaan dan ketidakpatuhan terhadap hukum dan etika. Aspek-aspek tersebut yang seyogyanya merupakan landasan dari pembentukan kebijakan yang bersifat langsung mengatur melalui pembentukan badan kehormatan yaitu “Mahkamah Kehormatan Dewan” untuk melindungi kewibawaan (gezag organisatie) DPR RI sebagai lembaga perwakilan rakyat. MKD merupakan salah satu dari alat perlengkapan DPR RI. Berdasarkan hal tersebut tujuan penelitian ini yaitu pertama untuk mengkaji dan menganalisis mengenai pengaturan Mahkamah Kehormatan Dewan berdasarkan Undang-undang tentang Majelis Permusyawaratan Rakyat, Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat, Dewan Perwakilan Daerah dan Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Daerah dan kedua untuk meneliti dan menganalisis mengenai implementasi dan implikasi pengaturan Mahkamah Kehormatan Dewan berdasarkan Undang-undang tentang Majelis Permusyawaratan Rakyat, Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat, Dewan Perwakilan Daerah dan Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Daerah.Kata kunci: Kewenangan, Mahkamah Kehormatan Dewan, Pelanggaran Kode Etik.ABSTRACTThe Republic of Indonesia as a state based on law as regulated in The Constitution of The Republic of Indonesia 1945 Article 1 (3).
