Abstract

Chemical bonding materials including abstract material so that learning needs to be visualized to make students more easily understand. Associated with it, has been carried out action research (PTK) with the title: Implementation Method Cooperative Type SAVI (Somatic Auditory Visual and Intellectual) Using Animation Computing Simple to Improve Learning Outcomes Chemistry in Materials Institute of Chemistry Class X-6 MAN Rukoh Banda Aceh , This study aims to determine the improvement of learning outcomes and student motivation in the concept of chemical bonding and to investigate the increasing activity of teachers and students during the learning process takes place. This classroom action research conducted in two cycles and each cycle held two meetings. In each cycle starting from planning, action, observation, assessment and reflection. The subjects were students of class X-6 MAN Rukoh Banda Aceh totaling 24 students. Results of the study in the first cycle mastery learning students 17 people (71%). While observation of teacher activity overall 71.2% (both categories) and 59.3% of student activity (enough category). In the second cycle there is an increase both student mastery learning students as well as teacher and student activity. In the second cycle mastery learning students 22 students from 24 students or 92% .. 89% of teachers activity (both categories once) and activity of students 97% (excellent category). Based on the research we concluded that using peer tutors learning model can improve learning outcomes, teacher activity and activity class X-6 MAN Rukoh Banda Aceh on chemical bonding material.

Abstract

Interest is the tendency of a person to carry out the deed, as the interest to learn something in terms of reading, writing, or discussing. In a situation of effective learning takes place when the interest and attention of learners in learning. Hence the interest of learners very big influence in learning, because with the interest of learners will be working on something that interested him. So for the success of the study was affected by something which is in self-learners, and something that comes from outside the learner, such as teachers. Since the internal process is not immediate action, then a faculty member should be able to direct the external process such that it can affect the internal processes within learners. The influence of interest students in learning has a positive influence to the achievement of learning a subject. The higher the interest of students in learning a subject, the higher the learning outcomes achieved a subject. Conversely, the lower the interest students in learning a subject, then the lower the learning outcomes of a course that achieves.

Abstract

Tendency for people to go back to nature and the government's policy to "Saintifikasi Jamu" prioritizing in degenerative diseases such as hyperglycemia, hypertension, hypercholesterolemia and hyperuricemia / gout is a condition that is highly prospective and has pushed for the development of research on medicinal plants-based biodiversity Indonesiasebagai state megabiodiversity. Results of research have shown that among the diversity of Indonesia's biodiversity as a potential inhibitor of xanthine oxidase (XO) and antigot is sidaguri (Sida rhombifolia L), celery (Apium graveolens L), fruits (Salacca R. edulis) varieties of Bangkok, ear- earrings (Acalypha indicaL.), and Bitter (Andrographis paniculata, Ness.). Ethanol extract of the herb sidaguri XO inhibitor has potential as indicated by the ability to dampen the activity of XO with IC50 values

Abstract

The microscopic concept in chemistry learning can not be obtained directly from the experience or sensory observations. To understand this microscopic concept requires complex intellectual engagement. One way to facilitate learners in understanding the concept of microscopic is by using the appropriate modeling or learning media. In the study of chemical solution, so that learners easy to understand the concept of the microscopic can use a model picture called the microscopic model of depiction. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of learning chemical concept of solution by applying the model of microscopic depiction as well as to know the student's response to microscopic modeling in MAN Kabupaten Pidie Aceh Province. The research design used in this research is quasi experimental design. The results showed that by applying microscopic modeling model can streamline the learning process of chemical solution in MAN Kabupaten Pidie. Furthermore, MAN students in Kabupaten Pidie have a positive response to the application of microscopic modeling of learning chemistry of solution because students feel easier in understanding the chemical concept of solution

Abstract

Conceptual understanding of chemistry requires the ability to represent and interpret the problems of chemicals in a form that is easy to understand. One way that allows students to learn chemistry is to implement effective learning activities. This research was conducted in SMA Negeri 11 Banda Aceh. One of the schools with a homogeneous class management systems based on the same gender. The purpose of this study was to determine the learning process for the chemical held in a homogeneous class. Definition of homogeneous classes of this research is the class that is populated by students collectively have the same gender. Observations obtained is the percentage of teachers' activities with a percentage of 71.42% of activities, which means that activities of teachers in the classroom in both categories (51% - 80%). Results of student feedback through a questionnaire, obtained only 32% of students from a total of 88 students who find it easy to understand the chemistry lesson taught over the years, while the remaining amount to 68% of students still find it difficult to understand the chemistry lesson. Chemistry learning in homogeneous classes requires readiness of teachers, both in the preparation of learning tools and also the ability of teachers to manage the classroom, so that learning can be effective.

Abstract

Learning resource is anything tangible objects and people that can support learning so as to include all possible sources can be utilized by faculty in order to study the behavior occurs. factors that encourage students and faculty in selecting and utilizing a variety of learning resources, namely: (1) Internal is awareness, motivation, interests, abilities, and comfort within the user, and (2) External is the availability of learning resources, variations learning resources, the quantity of learning resources, the quality of learning resources, ease of access to learning resources, forms and types of learning resources, learning, space, human resources, as well as the traditions and the prevailing system of educational institutions. There is a tendency to use a variety of learning resources in the educational unit is influenced by two main factors, namely internal factors and external factors. Internal factors are the dominant influence awareness, passion, interests, abilities, and comfort in the user himself. In terms of external factors that influence the availability of varied learning, learning resources quantity, ease of access to learning resources, learning, space, human resources, as well as the traditions and the system being applicable in educational institutions.

Abstract

Learning is as an effort to change behavior in a person either changes in the level of knowledge, skills, or attitudes that deliver ones to the happiness in the world and the hereafter. In education, there are several factors that can support the implementation of the learning process, the most important factor is the availability of adequate learning media and enjoyable. Media images or photographs are pleasant enough media in Arabic learning, especially in learning Mufradat (vocabulary). By using the media, the purpose of the learning will be achieved as expected. This writing attempts to reveal the effectiveness of the media images or photographs in Arabic learning.

Abstract

Degradation of paraquat in gramoxone pesticide had been done by sonolysis with adding ZnO. Sonolysis method were performed using an ultrasound with frequency 50 kHz. The optimum condition of sonolysis were found at temperature 40oC. The percentage of degradation of 20 mg/L paraquat by sonolysisi method without adding ZnO during 120 minutes treatment was 20,70%, and with adding0,08 g percentage of degradation increasesd to 56,83% at the same treatment.

Abstract

This research moved from the unfolding phenomenon of corruption cases in Indonesia which is on evidence of unsuccesfull education world. One of the efforts is to arouse creativity, confidence, and passion to always be productive, responsibility so as not provoke by committing cheating and instant acts. Here we need innovative learning models that can give rise to awareness of goodness. The purpose of this research is to find out the integration of anti corruption values of chemical subject in SMAN 13 Banda Aceh and implementing anti corruption value to the student since early stage through snake and ladders game. The subject of this research is students grade X-MIA first semester academic year 2014/2015, the total amount is 25 students wich consist of 14 male and 11 female. This research was conducted in two meetings. The first meeting is divided into two stages: first, 1 JP to implement anti values trough video and the next, 2 JP with chemical bonding material. Whereas in the second meeting, the first 2 JP for snakes and ladders and the following 1 JP is for evaluation. Based and the result of attitude assessment of there is only one student whose grades rated C, for psychomotor assessment, all students succeed while in cognitive assessment there are four students who have not reached the KKM 2.66 (B-) with students total presentage abaout chemical bonding material reached 84%. Through snake and ladders game it can implement anti corruption values to students since early stage. It can be seen that the learning process each student have shown core (honesty, discipline, responsibility), work ethic (hard work, shumble, and indipendent) and attitudes (fair, brave and caring).

Abstract

Direct Instruction is one teacher teaching model is centered on the center or teacher. This learning model emphasizes the delivery of content is done verbally by the teacher to the learner. In the implementation of this model has the characteristic form of the five phases of a very important activity in the form of submission of the learning objectives, demonstrate knowledge and skills, guiding the training, checking understanding and provide feedback and provide advanced training and implementation. Research conducted on the use of the model of Direct Instruction in science learning so far shown significant results to increase students' understanding of science concepts. Direct Instruction is still relevant models used to study the science of materials that explain concepts and procedural and can be combined with other learning models, the use of the media is to help the implementation of the Direct Instruction model study
