Abstract

The fishery product processing industry must comply with and implement the Quality Assurance and Safety System for Fishery Products so that the products produced provide quality assurance and food safety for consumers and as an effort to meet the demands of the export market. The conception of the Quality Assurance and Safety of Fishery Products method that can be applied to the processing of fishery products is the  Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP). This study aims to determine the implementation of HACCP on freezing of fillets angoli fish (Pristimopoides multidens) in the form of skin on at PT. SULINDO. The method of data collection was carried out by the survey method. The data obtained and analyzed consisted of primary and secondary data. Data were obtained by conducting interviews and direct observations in the field, in the form of hazard analysis, identification of critical control points and supervision of critical control points and physical testing. The results of the research show that the implementation of HACCP on freezing of fillets angoli fish (Pristimopoides multidens) in the form of skin on at PT. SULINDO consists of 12 steps, which include compiling a HACCP team, describing products, identifying product uses, verifying flow charts, conducting hazard analysis and preventive actions, determining Critical Control Points (CCP), determining critical limits, establishing monitoring systems, establishing corrective actions, establish verification procedures, establishing storage and documentation procedures. Based on decision tree, Critical Control Point (CCP) at the freezing stage of  fillet  Anggoli fish (Pristimopoides multidens) is in the form of skin on at PT. SULINDO, there is only one process stage that is designated as a Critical Control Point (CCP), namely the stage of detecting metals with a significant form of metal fragments in fillet with a critical metal limit applied for prevention, namely Fe 2.5 mm and Non Fe 2 ,5 mm and monitoring measures were carried out on the possibility of Fe metal flakes using a metal detector or sensitivity using a metal taster every hour. Keywords : HACCP implementation, freezing of fillet angoli fish

Abstract

Management and utilization of the fisheries resources in the Indonesia”s outermost tiny island, became a crucial concern, in order to ensure the economic improvement of the local communities and the sustainability of the ecosystem. This study aims to determine the value of the status of fisheries resources in the domain of fishing techniques across the Ayau Archipelago. Evaluation of EAFM implementation status is carried out by the adding up of the scores for each criterion and then dividing by the number of indicators. The index score is obtained from the average value of the flag model in the fishing technique domain. The total index value obtained is then analyzed using a multi-criteria system comparing the total index value of all attributes/indicators with the maximum total index. Arcmap GIS 10.3.1 for mapping was made to obtain the coordinates and area of the island. The results analysis of the composite value EAFM is 68.8%. Our Analysis also indicate that fishing capacity and fishing effort as well as crew certification of fishing boat have low scores with the index values of 315 and 60 respectively. Howover, small scale fisheries management in the Ayau archipelago attracts much special attention from related sectors for further improvement.  the management of small-scale fisheries in the Ayau Islands from a technical and implementation point of view needs to be improved.

Abstract

KadeTigo Beach has potency as a ecotourism destination in Tapanuli Tengah District, North Sumatera Province. This beach is one of the popular destination for local tourist, and the visitors are increasing over the years, but there as no study on the suitability and carrying capacity of KadeTigo Beach for marine tourism. The results of the analysis showed that the area of marine ecotourism in KadeTigo Beach is “Suitable” and “Conditionally Suitable” for marine ecotourism development with a value for leisure travel (suitable 5.3%; conditionally suitable 94.7%) and swimming activity (suitable 2.4%; conditionally suitable 97.6%) . The total value carrying capacity of region was 251 persons/day.

Abstract

The increasing demand for detailed bathymetric information ultimately has enhanced hydrographic surveying industry to diversify data collection techniques. In this case, Tikus Island is the object for this research. One of the important information needed is bathymetry to management this island. The aim of this research was to study, analize, and estimate the accuracy of bathymetry by using stump method and display this information to be bathymetry map. The research area in this paper was Tikus Island, Bengkulu. Field data was carried out during 28th – 30th June 2019. Data Processing held on January to February 2020. There were four steps following this paper. There were tidal analysis using admiralty, pre-processing imagery data, depth estimation using stump method, and accuracy test. Tidal data was taken from secondary data of Geospatial Information Agency on June 2019. The result showed the value of MSL was 0,000418 meter, LLWL was -0,756538 meter, HHWL was 0,76 meter, and Z0 was -0,539143 meter. Pre-processing was consist of atmospheric correction, layer stacking, masking, and cropping. Depth estimation used 52 observation point in algoritm of Stump. The result of estimate depth using algorithm of Stump showed that the depth value of Tikus Island was 0,858– 1,290 meters. The accuracy test result showed that R2 value was 0,779. It showed that he Stump method can be used to estimate depth well.

Abstract

Karang lunak merupakan salah satu penyusun komunitas karang yang berguna bagi ekosistem terumbu karang. Keberadaanya di ekosistem terumbu karang sangat penting bagi proses rantai makanan di lautan. Sulitnya identifikasi morfologi karang ini disebabkan variasi sklerit yang beragam. Oleh karena itu penting adanya identifikasi molekuler sebagai penunjang data taksonomi karang ini. Akan tetapi, dalam proses identifikasi molekuler karang ini masih banyak hambatan yang terjadi dalam proses ekstraksi maupun PCR nya. Hal ini dimungkinkan karena adanya kalsium karbonat yang tersusun di seluruh tubuh karang ini. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mendapatkan proses ekstraksi DNA dan PCR yang optimal dalam proses identifikasi secara molekuler. Proses ekstraksi dilakukan dengan menggunakan Kit Ekstraksi dan PCR dengan menggunakan KIT PCR. Hasil ekstraksi menunjukan bahwa Xenia sp memiliki konsentrasi DNA yang tertinggi dengan nilai 53.90 (ng/ul) dan terendah pada jenis Sarcophyton trocheliophorum sebesar 26.70 (ng/ul). Optimalisasi PCR menghasilkan hasil yang baik pada spesies Xenia sp., dan Lobophytum pauciflorumsedangkan pada sampel jenis Sarcophyton trocheliophorum pita DNA menunjukan hasil yang smear.   Keywords: Ekstraksi, Identifikasi, Karang Lunak, Molekuler, PCR
