Abstract

The rapid physical growing of Manado city influenced the city’s structure so that the current city’s map is not accurate because there are new streets that haven’t been pictured in the current city’s map. So an accurate delineation is needed to drumming up the Manado’s physical growing. TheGlobal Positioning System (GPS) is needed to draw an accurate street network map.The Manado’s street network map is a tool to obtain the image of the street network’s scientific data by drawing the signs and informations so that can be easily read and understandable. In the planning to make Manado’s street network map, research with the GPS Garmin 76CSx model is carrying out. GPS is a tool to detect a point at the earth’s surface with enough high carefulness. In a determining a position, the GPS’s receiving units receive the signals from GPS satellite and do the computation about the signals.In this research, to get to draw the Manado’s street network structure two important phases are carrying out which are data collecting process and drawing process with computerization. In the data collecting process, survey with GPS at all the street network in the Manado city’s range iscarrying out. And in the drawing process with computerization using computer soft wares which are MapSource and AutoCAD 2008, all of the data from GPS are transfered to computer which will be processed with the two programs.The street network tracking survey is carrying out so that every coordinate point in the Manado can be specified. The determining of the streets’ internodes is needed to process the coordinate point.The drawing process is carrying out in some phases, started with the GPS calibration to the street network drawing. From the drawing process, we can see that the carefulness of Bakosurtanal map is different with the GPS’s map. At the GPS’s map there are new streets that are none in the Bakosurtanal map and there are also the old streets that are gone now because of the housing development.Keywords: Map, Street Network, GPS

Abstract

Para pekerja kantor di kota Jakarta, khususnya di kawasan Mega Kuningan setiap hari menghadapi kemacetan, kebisingan dan polusi. Kondisi tersebut dapat memicu stress bagi para pekerja sehingga dapatmenurunkan kinerja pekerjaan. Pemahaman leisure dalam penelitian ini merupakan sebuah kegiatan santai yang dilakukan oleh seseorang setelah bekerja. Dengan melakukan aktivitas tersebut para pekerja kantor dapat memiliki gairah kembali. Dengan menggabungkan program leisure dan kantor maka, akan tercipta sebuah desain perkantoran yang memiliki fasilitas leisure seperti fasilitas olahraga, taman publik, restorandan sebagainya. Di dalam penelitian ini jenis kantor yang dirancang adalah kantor untuk perusahaan retail. Bidang usaha retail yang dikaji bergerak di dalam berbagai bidang, yaitu: pakaian, makanan, departement store dan olahraga. Selain menambahkan program leisure pada kantor, bangunan ini juga berfungsi sebagai penghubung dari penyeberangan jalan di depan kantor Kedutaan Besar RRC dan penyeberangan jalan di depan gedung ITC Ambassador. Untuk mendukung para pejalan kaki yang melewati tapak, di lantai dasar terdapat taman publik yang sangat luas. Bangunan kantor sengaja dinaikkan agar area taman menjadi lebih maksimum. Taman tersebut juga memiliki fungsi sebagai tempat melepas lelah dari para pekerja kantor, aktivitas apapun dapat dilakukan disana. Dengan penggabungan dua program leisure dan kantor, diharapkan para karyawan yang bekerja disana dapat memiliki motivasi dalam bekerja lebih baik.Kata kunci: perkantoran, retail, leisure, program

Abstract

Batuan andesit dan batuan tuff dihancurkan kemudian diayak dengan saringan 19mm, 12.5mm, 9.5mm dan 4.75mm dan dipakai sebagai agregat pada beton. Beton yang diteliti adalah beton beragregat kasar batuan andesit pori (dinamakan BAKAPOR), beton beragregat kasar batuan andesit antara (dinamakan BAKAT), beton beragregat kasar batuan andesit padat (dinamakan BAKAPAT), beton beragregat kasar batuan tuff merah (dinamakan BAKATUM) dan beton beragregat kasar batuan tuff putih dinamakan (BAKATUP). Untuk BAKAPOR, BAKAT, BAKAPAT, BAKATUM dan BAKATUP berat volume yang diperolehberturut-turut sekitar 2.13kg/l, 2.20kg/l, 2.25kg/l, 1.96kg/l, 2.23kg/l dan kuat tekan karakteristik beton berturut-turut sekitar 36.8MPa, 39.4MPa, 46.1MPa, 30.0MPa, 43.4 MPa.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ditinjau dari segi kuat tekan terlihat material-material batuan tersebut dapat digunakan sebagai agregat kasar dengan rapat massa dan kuat tekan paling tinggi ada pada BAKAPAT sedangkan rapat massa dan kuat tekan paling rendah ada pada BAKATUM.Kata kunci: Tuff, Andesit, Bakapor, Bakat, Bakapat, Bakatum, Bakatup

Abstract

Indonesia is an archipelago country brings a logic consequence in transportation that is coming up the traffic movement inter island to fulfill the need of goods and service. Like happen to the movement of Ulu Siau-Manado which is geographically the area located in North Sulawesi province which separated by the ocean. The transportation’s connection to reach Ulu Siau until now, it’s only using ocean line, by using moda ship transportation. The objectives of this research is to find out the factors which influenced toward the chosen of transportation moda for the proper trip’s route of Ulu Siau-Manado developed in the study area.The methodology used were qualitative and quantitative with stated preference method. The data were collected by interview and observation. The sample was taken 200 from the member of respondence from the ship passangers of Ulu Siau-Manado route. The data were analyzeddescriptively with proportion model, difference model, and ratio model. Calibration model was done by multiply regresion analyze.From the research it can be concluded that speed ship transportation moda became the first chosen of passangers. Followed by to keep the speedy, safety, and comfortable factors which already have on speed ship.

Abstract

Pembangunan jalan di Kabupaten Talaud daerah Melonguane agak sulit terlaksana, karena agregat kasar yang menjadi salah satu bagian terpenting pada pembangunan agak sulit didapatkan. Untuk itu penggunaan karang gunung yang banyak terdapat didaerah tersebut menjadi pilihan sebagai agregat alternatif pada campuran aspal panas.Untuk mengetahui tingkat kelayakan material karang gunung tersebut sebagai agregat campuran aspal panas jenis HRS-Base, maka perlu dilakukan pemeriksaan awal material sampai pada pengujian Marshall di laboratorium.Dalam penelitian ini dibuat tiga gradasi gabungan yang menggunakan karang gunung. Dari pemeriksaan material karang gunung didapat abrasi 30,57 % (syarat maks. 40%), B.J apparent 2,605 (syarat min. 2,5), penyerapan 2,348% (syarat maks. 3,0%). Pada pengujian Marshallmemberikan nilai Stabilitas Marshall > 800 kg dan MQ > 250 kg/mm, nilai kelelehan (flow), VIM, VMA dan VFB memenuhi spesifikasi criteria Marshall.Kata Kunci : karang gunung, HRS-Base, pengujian Marshall

Abstract

Di Indonesia penelitian simpang dilakukan berdasarkan persyaratan MKJI 1997. Di beberapa negara lainnya ada program komputer yang dirancang khusus untuk perencanaan persimpangan seperti program aaSIDRA 2.0 dari Australia. Dalam penelitian ini akan dibandingkan hasil analisisperhitungan kinerja berupa kapasitas, derajat kejenuhan, antrian, tundaan, dan Level of Service dari persimpangan berdasarkan pendekatan MKJI 1997 dan Program aaSIDRA 2.0.Penelitian dilaksanakan di Kota Manado yaitu pada persimpangan Patung Kuda Paal 2 di Jalan RE Martadinata. Penelitian dilaksanakan selama 1 (satu) minggu mulai tanggal 02 Mei 2011 sampai dengan tanggal 08 Mei 2011 Mulai Pukul 06.00 – 18.00. Data yang diambil adalah data geometri,kondisi lingkungan, arus lalu lintas dan waktu sinyal persimpangan Paal 2 Manado. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisa regresi dan metode pendekatan iterasi untuk memberikan perkiraan kapasitas dan statistik kinerja dari persimpangan. Baik MKJI 1997 maupun program aaSIDRA 2.0 akan mengeluarkan hasil perhitungan dari kinerja persimpangan Paal 2 Manado berupa kapasitas, derajat kejenuhan, antrian, tundaan dan level of service.Hasil penelitian dengan menggunakan program aaSIDRA 2.0 maupun menggunakan MKJI 1997 menunjukkan bahwa arus kendaraan di persimpangan Paal 2 telah melampaui jenuh. Hal ini dapat dilihat pada hasil perhitungan derajat kejenuhan dengan menggunakan MKJI 1997 dan Program aaSIDRA 2.0 untuk pendekat selatan 0.301, dan 0.996, pendekat timur 0.671 dan 1.039, pendekat barat 0.498 dan 0.877, pendekat utara 0.754 dan 0.417. Secara umum program aaSIDRA 2.0 dapat diaplikasikan dalam persimpangan untuk perencanaan transportasi kota.Untuk meningkatkan kinerja persimpangan Paal 2 Manado dapat direkomendasikan untuk dilakukan penambahan kapasitas jalan dengan mengadakan pelebaran jalan.Kata Kunci : Persimpangan, MKJI, aaSIDRA.

Abstract

A response spectrum is a plot of the peak values of the response (displacement, velocity, or acceleration) of a number of SDOF systems with different natural vibration periods subjected to the same seismic input. Therefore, an acceleration response spectrum represents the peak accelerations that a suite of SDOF systems with a range of natural periods may exhibit when subject to a given ground motion component.In general, the acceleration response spectrum associated with a specific time-history recorded at a given location has a jagged shape with significant peaks and valleys. The response spectrum for another ground motion recorded at the same site during a different earthquake will exhibit also an irregular shape, but the peaks and valleys will not necessarily coincide with those in the previous one. Therefore, appropriately smoothed spectra are usually defined for design and evaluation purposes. These spectra are termed design response spectra. They do not represent the particular acceleration response from a single ground motion time-history, but rather they are intended to be more representative of general characteristics for a reasonable range of expected ground motions at a given site.Keywords: response spectrum, SDOF system, time-history, ground motions
