Abstract

Assessment of Air Traffic Controllers (ATC) Fatigue Level in Providing flight Traffic services at Juanda International Airport Surabaya is to know how the description of Air traffic controller fatigue level in guiding services air traffic that impact on aviation safety. Assessment method used descriptive quantitative method by using Paired Sample T-Tesf method analysis, comparing the condition of fatigue before and after the ATC on duty, as well as exposure and detailed explanation based on the primary and secondary data compilation and the data have been processed. The assessment result shows that there are level of fatigue of Air Traffic Controller that significant, both of physical and psychological factors.

Abstract

The Passenger of service equipment facility is a facility of quality and quantity that directly telt by the passengers. The Limitations of passenger service equipment facility will impact to build up the queue of passengers waiting to be serve. For example, check-in counter service facility is a passenger service facilities at terminal departure which often cause the queue. Leisure passengers at an airport is one of airport success in serving passengers. Related to the above, need to do an assessment of service performance check-in counter at Juanda airport in Surabaya based on the level of services.

Abstract

Flight conditions in Indonesia is currently experiencing very significant growth. In accordance with the terms of the aviation world, which is changing around the world in turn requires increasing the competence of human resources in the field of aviation. Human resources competence of aviation (airport personnel) is an important part in supporting aviation safety, it is a key requirement in the implementation of aviation services suppressing the accurence of aviation accidents.Systems and procedures, competence technicians, adequate facilities and support a favorable working environment in one Sigle unit. Therefore the adequacy of human resources personnel who operate and maintain facilities that have licensed some of these officers have not had licensed/ceriificate of competency, than the minimum requirements of human resources.

Abstract

Sultan Taha Syarifuddin Airport is an airport located in the province of Jambi. This airport began in April 2007 is managed by PT. Angkasa Pura II, which was previously managed by the Department of Transportation Jambi Province. PT.Angkasa Pura II (Persero) as the steering Airport, Jambi Sultan Taha Sultan Taha Airport development plan to be an international airport on 2012. Currently there are 5 air transport company which is every day in flight Sultan Taha Airport. Based on Forecast result (forecasting), the movement of aircraft on 2011 at 7.24%, 5.73% in 2012 and in 2013 5.429%. The number of passengers in 2011 rose 15.14% in 2012 rose 7.64% in 2013 rose 7.09%. While number of the cargo on 2011 rose 3%, 3% in 2012 and 2013, 3%. The analysis result of land side facilities at Sultan Taha Airport Jambi at departure are for the development of 274.31 m2 space. Need development of space for the arrivalare of 248 m2. Area of 134 m2 is adequate toilet but the toilet really badly because there are only 4 pieces of toilets currently available. Baggage claim area was not sufficient anymore the addition of 37.88 m2. Hall of arrival to the development of 311.51 m2. While fhe obstacles / problems related to building new terminal facilities of international standard can be implemented that is not related assets owned by DGCA is not handed over / transferred to PT.Angkasa Pura II (Persero) and there is still the official residence owned by DGCA.

Abstract

The growth number of passenger of air transportation increased rapidly as an indicator of industrial development of air transport services must be balanced with the service and information from the airlines' services to service users in order to feel the services delivered as expected. Airline companies should be able to provide services as required passengers who have different characters. Services provided by the airlines in carrying out its activities are divided into 3 (three) groups: service with a maximum standards (full service), service with a medium standards (medium service) and services with minimum standards (no frills). Passengers PT. Lion Mentari Air Jakarta – Yogyakarta route with minimum service standards (no frills) is a sample in this study. The results of calculations using the average performance (X) 3.56 and the average expectation of passengers(Y) 4.45 indicating that the performance of PT. Lion Mentari Air is still low compared with the expectations of passengers. The results of the analysis of customer satisfaction index of 17 indicators of service provided through the 71.14% scored less satisfactorily interpreted so that the performance of PT. Lion Air still needs refinement and improvement.

Abstract

The impact of ceasing temporary operation PT. Mandala Arilines in Achmad Yani Airport at Semarang on January 13th 2011 will effect toward the decreasing air of transport capacity of Semarang—Jakarta routes and Semarang-Banjarmasin routes. In hence, the route Semarang-Banjarmasin flown by Mandala airlines seven times in a week, and route Semarang-Jakarta twelve times per week. By using load factor comparative method, from the result of the research was obtained the increasing of load factor to all routes of airline schedule flow by mandala.

Abstract

Assessment of the Implementation of SNI 03-7051-2004 (The Signs And Installation of Obstruction Lights (Obstacle Lights) vicinity at Airport) For Compulsory Standards at Juanda Airport in Surabaya is to know how the implementation of the provision of signs and installation of lights around the aviation operation Safety area at Juanda Airport Surabaya to support it has required the standards/rules established by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation flight operations in order to ensure aviation safety. Assessment method used quantitative method by decomposition (descriptive), exposure and a detailed explanation based on the compilation of primary data and secondary data that have been processed. The assessment result shows the application of SNI 03-7051-2004 (The Signs and Installation of Obstruction Lights of Airport vacinity at Juanda Airport) vacinit at Surabaya there are still some buildings that do not meet the rules set, there are some buildings should be installed (obstacle lights) to achieve optimum aviation safety. Among these buildings are of BTS Tower buildings and Mall City Of Tomorrow (Cito Mall) that located at the aviation operation area at Juanda airport.
