Abstract

In the support of the international air cargo services as a safeguard against perpetrators of business rules required a government that can provide security and flight safety. Problems on the business of cargo service airports Indonesia prefers clear international rules such as place of transit cargo.For that Soekarno Hatta Airport as an international gateway facility serve as an example the development of the cargo terminal to be used as transit cargo. From the results of data acquisition is still felt less, both from the aspect of maintaining security and safety of the cargo until the cargo is received by the consignee. Abstract

Recently, the national air transportation experiencing significant growth include the increasing number of airlines in operation and the number of passengers carried. The impact of these developments, one is the increase in aircraft operations and should be supported by human resources in these field including the pilot.Pilot needs to reach 400 people per year have not been fulfilled by the product all the existing flying school. Based on this, conducted a study to observe the implementation of Pilot Training at STPI-Curug with a view to providing input to improve the quality and quantity of graduates majoring in flight.Analysis and discussion in this study using qualitative methods, using both oral and written data obtained from respondents and observations, described in detail, relating to cause and effect that produced a recommendation to the purpose of the study.

Abstract

Attempts to create airport security, especially at the Soekarno-Hatta International Airport which is a gate of the Republic of Indonesia is one of the desires of all users of airport services. In an effort to realize and improve airport security must be supported by competent airport security personnel. From the results of field surveys, the number of security personnel Soekarno-Hatta International Airport are: Which already has Personnel Skills Certificates (SKP): Basic Aviation Security 214 persons, Junior Aviation Security 493 persons, Senior Aviation Security 182 persons, and Who haven’t yet Personnel Skills Certificates totaling 562 person are out sourcing. According the interviews results with Head of Security Division existing condition of security personnel at terminals 1 and 2 have been sufficient, while the existing condition of the security personnel at terminal 3 amounted to 124 people who had assessments. From the analysis and discussion in order to meet the needs of security personnel is programmed and to improve the assessments needed 248 persons, lack of security personnel at the desired terminal 3:124 persons. To increase the airport tax assessment organizers can do the addition by way of both internal and external. Internal assessment is done through a test that is taken from the power out sourcing to test, while the external through the recruitment test to provide the opportunity for applicants from outside environment. Through both ways can be realized to increase the number of assessments.

Abstract

Currently, the STPI is in stagnant condition or status quo to be a Public Service Agency. This paper is intended for those who feel disturbed by this fact, and have concern for the STPI.Some problems: achievement cadets who decline, low quality but the quantity of excess human resources, education systems, curricula, low reward / low salaries, expenditures per student is high, crowded dormitories, degree requirements, marketing graduates, competency standards / certification, accreditation, Research and Community Service (PPM) which does not fit with the mission, training co-operation contracts with third parties, outsourcing and so on.It all resulted in efficiency, effectiveness, productivity and low yields, thus the need for reform toward a more entrepreneurial way STPI bureaucracy, and fortunately with a strong new leadership of the Chairman with the spirit of high entrepreneur, STPI want to build a center for human flight (center of excellence human resources development for aviation), including the urgent need to change the status of a Pattern of Financial Management of Public Service Agency.

Abstract

Density rate of arrival and departure of aircraft would cause noise pollution and air area of the airport. Meanwhile, the international demands the maintenance of environmental conditions in the world.For people who live near the airport will certainly feel uncomfortable and unhealthy. ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization) as the agency responsible for civil aviation is clearly not turning a blind eye on this. Thus enforcing the regulations limiting noise / noise limit. Until now, the area of airport noise is determined based on forecasts of aircraft, frequency and period of time aircraft operations.From the analysis shows that the Polonia Airport in Yogyakarta has a noise level (Weighted Equivalent Continuous Perceived Noise Level/WECPNL) 136,1175.

Security is a fundamental factor that must be met by an airport in which to achieve such security, among which must be fulfilled bothin terms of both quantity and quality of personel anda flight safety equipment.Flight security evaluation at Ahmad Yani Airport - Hyderabad aims to determine the condition of safety Ahmad Yani Airport - Semarang associated with personnel, facilities and security procedures at airports.The observation result shows less sensitive walk trhough metal detector (WTMD) VIP room and a space in the SCP 2 is less adequate, there is still a lack of female officersfor inspection atthe X-Ray, use your check has not been consistent securitystickers, the laying of goods in X-Ray is stillthere that were stacked, the object of vital airport (such as: tower) is not guarded by security, control access to the entire perimeter, is not yet available Airport Security Program (ASP) and Airport Emergency plan (AEP) has not been updated.

Abstract

Evaluation of air side facility (runway sweeper) maintenance at Juanda airport in Surabaya is to know whether the air side facility (runway sweeper) maintenance system at Juanda airport in Surabaya meets the maintenance standard which is set by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation and still qualify to be operated. Assessment method used is descriptive qualitative method; detailed explanation based on the compilation of primary data and secondary data which have been processed. The results show that runway sweeper equipment maintenance done by technician at Juanda airport in Surabaya is still less than the maximum level according to the procedures established by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation about equipment maintenance.

Abstract

This study is aimed at applying yield management to optimize the airlines selling income by determining or allocating the number of passengers in multi-leg flight in which each leg has two fares classes. Basically, yield management is one of allocating and controlling passenger’s seats methods to optimize the airlines income. Normally, the existing yield management model will only consider the fare, demands and capacity variables. Other variables such as operational and distance will not be covered. When those variables are covered, they are considered as constant variables that will not affect the income optimization. The development of yield management model in this study is applying the linear program model approach, in order to obtain an optimum solution in the multi-leg flight. The approach will produce a decision variable; i.e. the number of passengers that will be allocated in each leg for business and economy fares; and objective function; i.e. maximum income and multi-leg flight route being served. The result of the study is a smaller solution, both for the decision variable and objective function. However, the solution is more valid because it considers more aspects, which are ideally more suitable to the actual condition of the flight operational.Penelitian ini bertujuan mengaplikasikan model yield management untuk mengoptimasikan pendapatan penjualan perusahaan penerbangan dengan cara pengalokasian jumlah penumpang pada penerbangan multileg dimana masing-masing leg mempunyai dua jenis kelas tarif. Pada dasarnya, yield management adalah metode pengalokasian dan pengendalian kursi penumpang untuk mengoptimasikan pendapatan perusahaan penerbangan.. Pengembangan model yield management dalam studi ini menggunakan pendekatan model programa linier, untuk mendapatkan solusi optimum dalam penerbangan multileg. Pendekatan ini akan menghasilkan suatu variabel keputusan yaitu jumlah penumpang yang akan dialokasikan pada setiap leg untuk harga tiket bisnis dan ekonomi; dan fungsi tujuannya adalah memaksimumkan pendapatan dan rute penerbangan multileg yang dilayani. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa solusi yang lebih kecil, baik untuk variabel keputusan maupun untuk fungsi tujuan. Meskipun demikian, solusi ini lebih valid karena mempertimbangkan banyak aspek, dimana idealnya lebih sesuai dengan kondisi aktual dari operasi penerbangan.

Abstract

Air transport contributes significantly to air pollution. Based on the reports of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), by 1992 the air transport accounted for 3.5% of the total anthropogenic radiative forcing of the atmosphere. It is expected to rise to 12.2%, in 2050. Furthermore, the airport is one area that has been the concentration of aircraft engine emissions. In this research, aircraft engines emission is calculated using actual data flights in airports (hybrid approach). This study aims to determine the amount of Carbon Monoxide (CO) and nitrogen oxides (NOx) generated daily from aircraft engine and then compared with the levels of CO and NOx are allowed. The result shows that the levels of CO and NOx generated daily from aircraft engines in Husein Sastranegara Airport- Bandung is still within normal limits. Transportasi udara memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan terhadap polusi udara. Berdasarkan laporan Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), pada tahun 1992 transportasi udara menyumbang 3,5% dari total anthropogenic radiative forcing di atmosfer. Hal ini diperkirakan akan meningkat menjadi sebesar 12,2%, pada tahun 2050. Selanjutnya, bandar udara merupakan salah satu area yang menjadi tempat terkonsentrasinya emisi gas buang pesawat udara. Dalam penelitian ini dilakukan perhitungan emisi gas buang mesin pesawat udara dengan menggunakan data aktual penerbangan di bandar udara (pendekatan hibrid). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui besaran Karbon Monoksida (CO) dan Nitrogen Oksida (NOx) harian yang dihasilkan dari mesin pesawat udara yang kemudian dibandingkan dengan kadar CO dan NOx yang diperbolehkan. Hasil perhitungan menunjukkan bahwa kadar CO dan NOx harian yang dihasilkan dari mesin pesawat udara di Bandar Udara Husein Sastranegara-Bandung masih dalam batas normal.

Abstract

PT Citilink is a low cost carrier that is currently increasing its market share.The purpose of this study was to analyze the internal and external factors and strategy of PT.Citilink in improving the competitivenes airlines in Indonesia. This research using SWOT analysis method. The results showed that the internal factors are 14 elements consisting of 7 (seven) elements of strength and 7 (seven) elements of weakness. External factors are 13 elements consisting of 9 (nine) elements of opportunities and 4 (four) elements of threats. SWOT analysis shows the total strength score is 1.49, the total weaknes score is 0.71, the total opportunities score is 2.63 and the total threats score is 0.56. Currently, the position of the PT. Citilink is in a state that is growing so that the most appropriate strategy is a strategy of pricing and promoting.PT. Citilink merupakan salah satu perusahaan berbiaya murah yang saat ini sedang meningkatkan pangsa pasarnya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor internal dan eksternal dan strategi yang dapat dilakukan PT.Citilink dalam upaya meningkatkan daya saing perusahaan maskapai penerbangan di Indonesia. Metode penelitian menggunakan teknik analisis SWOT. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat faktor internal (dalam kendali manajemen) sebanyak 14 elemen terdiri dari elemen kekuatan sebanyak 7 (tujuh) dan elemen kelemahan sebanyak 7 (tujuh) . Faktor eksternal (diluar manajemen)sebanyak 13 elemen terdiri dari elemen peluang sebanyak 9 (sembilan) dan elemen ancaman sebanyak 4 (empat). Hasil analisis SWOT menunjukkan skor total kekuatan adalah 1,49, skor total kelemahan adalah 0,71, skor total peluang adalah 2,63 dan skor total ancaman adalah 0,56. Saat ini, posisi PT. Citilink berada dalam keadaan yang sedang tumbuh sehingga strategi yang paling tepat adalah strategi pricing dan promoting.
