Abstract

Most of the post-ORIF patients experience pain during wound care. Therapy analgesics and Complementary Alternative Medicine can be used to reduce pain during wound care. Acupressure and murottal Al-Qur'an are an alternative therapy that can be used to reduce pain. This study aims to explain the effect of acupressure and murottal Al-Quran in reducing the intensity of pain during wound care in patients post ORIF and increase levels of β-endorphins in urine. This research uses the Quasi-Experimental approach with pre-test-post-test. This research was conducted in dr. Soebandi Hospital. The sample of research was done by consecutive sampling technique, consist of 28 respondents. Data were collected using structured questionnaires, numeric pain scales, ELISA kits, and analyzed by ANOVA test. Acupressure, murottal Al-Quran, and a combination of acupressure and murottal Al-Quran have significantly reduced the intensity of pain during wound care in patients post ORIF. There is no intervention more effective between acupressure, murottal al-Quran and combination of acupressure and murottal al-Quran in reducing pain intensity. Acupressure, murottal Al-Quran, combined acupressure and murottal Al-Quran significantly can not increase β-endorphin level in urine. Acupressure, murottal Al-Quran, and a combination of acupressure and murottal Al-Quran are a good alternative therapy used to reduce pain intensity during wound care in patients post-ORIF but this intervention still can not increase β-endorphin in urine.

Abstract

Surgical action is always associated with incisions / incisions that are traumatic or violent to the patient who cause various complaints and symptoms. One of the most common complaints is pain (Sjamsuhidajat and Jong, 2005). Guided imagery is a technique that uses the imagination of an individual with a guided imagination to reduce stress. This study aims to determine the effect of combination therapy of slow deep breathing and guided imagery relaxation on the scale of pain in patients post laparatomi surgery. Method: Using Quasi Experiment pre post test, sample of intervention group 33 respondents and control group 33 respondents. The intervention group was given combination therapy of slow deep breathing and guided imagery relaxation and analgetic according to room SOP and control group only given analgetic according to room SOP. Data analysis using Mann-Whitney Test with 95% confidence degree. Results: There was a significant difference in mean pain scale before and after the intervention of Slow deep breathing Relaxation, and there was also a significant difference in mean postoperative pain scale of laparotomy before and after intervention in the guided imagery group.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Elderly is a natural process of growing flowers, elderly tend to experience health problems resulting from decreased body function due to aging process one of the effects of blood pressure lability occur. High blood pressure is a chronic disease that can not heal, can only be controlled by way of obedience to take anti-hypertensive drugs. There are several models of nursing concept one family centered nursing that is family model of caring for the family. This research is an experimental research included in quantitative research method with Quasi Eksperiment design. This research uses pre-test and post-test with control group design, and uses questionnaires to measure compliance and family roles. The questionnaire has met the requirements of the validity and reliability test. Of the 20 respondents, there were 14 (70%) female respondents and 6 (30%) male responder. A total of 15 (75%) respondents were aged 60-70 years, 5 (25%) responder was> 70 years old. The average test result of two samples in experimental group of mean result is 15,20 with std value. deviation 3.047, for the control group value is known the mean value of 15.20 std value. deviation 4,458 with t-count value is 0,059 and obtained value p value is at 0,02 this value <from p value 0,05 meaning Ha accepted which mean there is difference of mean between two samples. These results indicate that there is Influence of Implementation of Discharge Planning with Family Centered Nursing Approach to Drug Compliance Level of Anti Hypertension Drug at elderly in Ulin Banjarmasin Hospital.

Abstract

The situational meaning of the disease can cause distress, the meaning is generated from the perception process. Perception can be affected by the mindset. To explain the effect of the collective mindset (belief and value) on the perceptual response. The research was conducted in the Dayak Paramasan community of Banjar District. pre-experimental one group pre-post test. Subjects were 12 people with acute respiratory diseases. The research instrument used questionnaire. Data analysis techniques using different test paired sample t test. There is difference of pre-post belief and value variable (sig. 0,000 <0,05). There is difference of pre-post value of perception variable (sig. 0,000 <0,05). The relationship of change of mindset (belief and value) to change of perception variable showed strong and significant relationship (p <0,05); value (r = 0.892), belief (r = 0.908). Ritual basambur can strengthen the collective mindset (belief and value). The dominant mindset will induce perception to establish a positive quality of perception stress. Through the path of HPA axis the body provides a positive stress response quality as well as decreasing the status of distress to support healing.

Abstract

Regular physical exercise may boost the immune system, exercise can cause physiological changes are quite large in the immune system, regular physical exercise can increase levels of Interleukin-6 and Total Lymphocyte as cytokines and adaptive defense in the immune system. This study aims to determine differences in the levels of interleukin-6, and the number of lymphocytes against mild and moderate aerobic exercise Sampling using a hypothesis test two independent groups tail with 9 people in this inklusi.Penelitian criteria using Quasi experimental design with posttest study design with Control Group. The test results comparing the levels of interleukin-6 Kruskal-Wallis test is used for the distribution of datatidak Normal. Shows that p = 0.031. This means that the average levels of IL-6 in the three groups differed significantly (p <0.05). Lymphocytes Indicate the number of test results that the results of the analysis of the test Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) showed that the value of p = 0.001. It simply means that the average number of lymphocytes in the three groups differed significantly (p <0.05).

Abstract

ABSTRACT Coronary heart disease is a disease in which the blood vessels that supply food and oxygen to the heart muscle are blocked. Blockage is most often due to the buildup of cholesterol in the walls of coronary arteries. One way to overcome it is by widening the blood vessels, immediately giving drugs. Blockage of blood vessels can also be resolved by the installation of a metal ring called a stent or PCI (Percutaneous Coronary Intervention). The data from WHO in 2014 says that the mortality rate in non-communicable diseases in the world will increase from year to year. In 2012, there were 38 million deaths attributable to various diseases in the non-communicable diseases group of a total of 52 million deaths. In general, this study aims to explore the various experiences of coronary heart patients while undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) on the first response they experienced. This study used phenomenology study. Data collection using Indepth Interview on three participants in the poly of Heart of RSUD Ulin Banjarmasin equipped with interview and Informed Consent guidelines. Structured analysis method from Creswell to 6 steps. There is one main theme found in this research that is patient experience in undergoing PCI intervention (Percutaneous Coronary Intervention) on coronary heart patient at RSUD Ulin Banjarmasin. which consists of three sub themes: (1) pre -intervention (2) intervention (3) post-intervention. First response, PC I intervention (percutaneous coronary intervention), coronary heart disease
