Abstract

The situational meaning of the disease can cause distress, the meaning is generated from the perception process. Perception can be affected by the mindset. To explain the effect of the collective mindset (belief and value) on the perceptual response. The research was conducted in the Dayak Paramasan community of Banjar District. pre-experimental one group pre-post test. Subjects were 12 people with acute respiratory diseases. The research instrument used questionnaire. Data analysis techniques using different test paired sample t test. There is difference of pre-post belief and value variable (sig. 0,000 <0,05). There is difference of pre-post value of perception variable (sig. 0,000 <0,05). The relationship of change of mindset (belief and value) to change of perception variable showed strong and significant relationship (p <0,05); value (r = 0.892), belief (r = 0.908). Ritual basambur can strengthen the collective mindset (belief and value). The dominant mindset will induce perception to establish a positive quality of perception stress. Through the path of HPA axis the body provides a positive stress response quality as well as decreasing the status of distress to support healing.

Abstract

Congestive heart failure (CHF) is a disease that most often requires repeated treatment in the hospital. Self-care efforts allow patients to monitor and manage home syndrome, maximize well-being, reduce mortality and minimize avoidable hazards. Communication, collaboration, and patient access to bad information lead to ineffective treatment. The main problems in the care of pharmacy are improper and unsafe use of drugs and non-compliance with prescription drugs, one of which is a therapeutic regimen.. This study uses a phenomenological qualitative method in which researchers will explore the personal meaning related to biopsychosocial aspects that can affect the quality of care (pharmacy) according to the perspective of patients with CHF. The participants determined in this study were selected purposively from all patients with CHF who were treated at the Pharmacy Installation in Ulin Hospital Banjarmasin. Data analysis using the Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA) model. In this study, which explores personal meaning related to aspects of communication and collaboration that can affect the quality of care, according to the perspective of patients with congestive heart failure (CHF) in the biopsychosocial aspects, the result are: found 4 (four) themes related to results-based communication, qualitative data analysis obtained through in-depth interviews with 11 (eleven) participants, namely: (1) tangible; (2) responsive; (3) empathy; (4) assurance. And found 3 (three) themes related to collaboration based on the results of qualitative data analysis obtained through in-depth interviews with 11 (eleven) participants, namely: (1) effective communication; (2) trust; (3) feedback.

Abstract

Introduksi: Pembicaraan aspek asuhan kefarmasian terkait kerangka kerja konseptualnya dan orientasi teoretisnya masih jarang menjadi pembahasan. Tujuan: Meninjau refleksi filosofis asuhan farmasi yang lebih manusiawi dan holistik. Simpulan: Disiplin kefarmasian belum cukup jauh mengembangkan paradigma moral baru yang lebih cocok untuk kebutuhan asuhan kefarmasian yang memperhatikan aspek humanistik. Perangkat asuhan farmasi konvensional selama ini, seperti TDM, ADR dan PIO adalah merupakan aspek biomedik yang belum mengembangkan perhatian terhadap aspek psikologis dan kontrol perilaku dari pasiennya. Paradigma dan kerangka konseptual harus dibangun untuk menuju dimensi perawatan pasien yang lebih holistik, sehingga diperoleh praktek asuhan kefarmasian yang holistik, tidak terkesan mekanistik dan tidak bioreduksionistik. Abstract

The prevalence of Diabetes Mellitus based on a Doctor's Diagnosis in Population Age ≥ 15 Years according to the 2018 Riskesdas, in the province of South Kalimantan itself is 1.8%. Thus, education regarding risk factors for diabetes mellitus is needed. The purpose of this community service is to provide education to adolescents so that they are able to handle or prevent the occurrence of diabetes mellitus in themselves or their families and are able to utilize health services optimally. The activity is carried out in the form of online counseling. The results of the activity showed an increase in adolescent knowledge regarding diabetes mellitus, its prevention, and herbal ingredients that can be used as medicine.

Abstract

Various problems caused by COVID-19 are considered to be a new source of stress for the community, namely tension, a burden for personal and family psychological conditions. This condition will gradually give a negative influence on the health of the body. Therefore, stress management needs to be known and mastered by the community to be able to maintain a healthy body. This stress management activity by thinking positively after the COVID-19 pandemic was carried out in the village of Tatah Alayung, Barito Kuala Regency. This activity was carried out in the form of socialization by visiting the village office and then residents' houses one by one. The socialization provided was in the form of tips on how to keep a positive mind during the Covid 19 pandemic and distributing and pasting posters and banners around the village. Education about personal and family stress management by thinking positively after the COVID-19 pandemic is very good and has received a good response from the community.

Abstract

Program "Atasi Yuk Stunting, Itu Penting" merupakan sebuah inisiatif yang bertujuan untuk mengatasi masalah stunting yang menjadi ancaman serius terhadap kesehatan generasi muda. Latar belakang program ini melibatkan fakta bahwa stunting dapat berdampak jangka panjang terhadap perkembangan fisik dan kognitif anak, serta masyarakat secara keseluruhan. Tujuan program ini adalah meningkatkan kesadaran, pengetahuan, dan tindakan pencegahan stunting di kalangan siswa dan masyarakat. Metode pelaksanaan program ini mencakup pendekatan edukatif yang interaktif, dengan fokus pada permainan ular tangga raksasa yang kreatif. Hasil yang dicapai melalui program ini adalah peningkatan kesadaran dan pengetahuan peserta mengenai pentingnya pencegahan stunting. Peserta juga menerapkan langkah-langkah pencegahan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, termasuk pola makan yang sehat dan kunjungan kesehatan rutin. Keseluruhan, program ini berhasil dalam membentuk generasi yang lebih sehat, cerdas, serta mengurangi prevalensi stunting di masa depan

Abstract

In a service institution such as a hospital, there is a significant correlation between service and patient satisfaction, this is an important component as information in efforts to improve hospital services. The patient admission process is often considered the front-line experience in healthcare facilities. A positive first impression between staff and patient is important to ensure a positive patient experience. Patient acceptance standards starting from the registration of new patients need to pay attention to the factors of staff acceptance, reception methods, pleasant waiting rooms, effective waiting times and handing over of patients to the treatment room. The purpose of this study was to obtain an overview of the relationship between factors (reception staff, patient admissions, waiting room conditions, waiting time, and the handover process with patient satisfaction. The study design was descriptive correlational, with a cross sectional study approach, looking at the influence of the admission system on patient satisfaction.A total sample of 82 respondents, taken using purposive sampling technique. Through the process of identifying and calculating the results of the study, the majority of respondents were satisfied with the admission process, and there was a significant relationship between the admission process (acceptance of staff, method of admission, waiting room, waiting time, and handover) with patient satisfaction. The results of the analysis on all satisfaction dimensions (tangible, reliable, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy) have a value lower than the 0.05 significance level, indicating a strong relationship between the admission process and patient satisfaction. Thus, from the results of the study in this study, it was found that in all aspects which include: reception, reception method, waiting room, waiting time and patient acceptance have an effect on patient satisfaction.
