Abstract

This study aims to identify the influence of perceive quality, price fairness, convenience, and customer satisfaction towards customer loyalty. This research is conducted to provide solution about the phenomenon of rapid growth of barbershop in Yogyakarta. This research is categorized as explanatory research, because it explains the causality relationship between observation variables. The number of samples are 200 respondents according to the requirement of sufficiency of sample in SEM test. Data retrieval is guided by using questionnaires. The results of this study indicate that the perceive quality, price fairness, and convenience have a positive and significant impact towards customer satisfaction, then customer satisfaction has a positive and significant impact towards customer loyalty. This study provides the diversity of previous research because the observed variables and question items are adjusted to the research setting in Indonesia.

Abstract

The background this study are: firstly, there are a number of zakat institutions in Indonesia, both agencies and institutions amil amil zakat zakat is still not able to optimally collect zakat funds, infaq, and sadaqah of society. Second, the persistence of people's distrust of institutions in channeling zakat zakat funds, infaq, and sadaqah, so people still rely on the old way is by direct distribution. The third officer attitudes zakat institutions in serving mustahiq should be improved because it is related to the satisfaction and familial ties between the parties with mustahiq amil zakat institutions. The results of this study are as follows: First, empowerment conducted by Yatim Mandiri covers many aspects, such as economy, education, health services, humanitarian and others. Second, each of these aspects before, have the derivation in the form of empowerment programs. Third, Yatim Mandiri as amil zakat institutions that focus on empowering orphans/dhuafa was also to empower the poor, Fourth, Yatim Mandiri as amil zakat institutions have a number of donations and charity infaq much larger than the amount of zakat donations, with ratio of 80:20, and Fifth, the service provided by the Yatim Mandiri to the poor and needy got a very good assessment from the their mustahiq. Overall, the conclusion from this study is tha t the Yatim Mandiri has done his duty to the optimum as evidenced by the very positive assessment of mustahiq and empowering the poor to the services them, and they provide from time to the time.

Abstract

This research aims to know the assessment of the implementation of the amanah in employees Darussalam Hotel at Pondok Pesantren Gontor Ponorogo. This research focuses on the discussion of the amanah. Amanah could mean everything to fulfi ll deposited and entrusted to a person. This study used a qualitative approach to exploratory case study strategy. File was collected through interviews to employees Darussalam Hotel at Pondok Pesantren Gontor Ponorogo. The results of this study show that the majority of informants has been carrying out the nature of the amanah to implement their duties as employee of Darussalam Hotel at Pondok Pesantren Gontor Ponorogo, it can be seen by the attitude of the employees who are able to demonstrate a sense of responsibility, just promise with high work commitment and transparency in carrying out its duties. The nature of the mandate carried out in the service process in carrying out each task by the employee for the service that the mandate would have a positive impact for the hotel as one of the Pondok Gontor’s Business.

Abstract

Zakat, infaq, and shadaqah (ZIS) are the important instruments in Islamic Economic. Especially zakat, it can be seen from the states of zakat with sholat in 29 verses of Al Quran. Because ZIS is estimable in empowering the society economy, it has to be well managed by zakat administrator institution. Therefore, for achieving that goal, zakat administrator institution has to be able in determining people who have rights to receive zakat to avoid zakat distribution overlapping. This research has a goal in identifying the determination of zakat receivers (mustahiq) in zakat administrator institution in Surabaya. There are four research objects: Dompet Dhuafa Republika, Pos Keadilan Peduli Umat, Yayasan Dana Sosial Al Falah, and Baitul Maal Hidayatullah. It will use descriptive qualitative as the research approach. The results of this research conclude that each zakat administrator institution has different criteria of zakat receivers, especially in poor and needy people criteria. The differences can be seen from the standard of poverty used by zakat administrator institution.

Abstract

Marketing Strategies with utilize Advancement of Information Technology have impact financially efficient and practically process, with using social media can create the best result. Promoting business using social media which are free cost and can attract new customers social media user, this things very suitable if applied in SME (Small Medium Enterprises) business. This research aims to explore the utilization of social media as marketing strategy for Small and medium enterprises (SMEs). Qualitative approach with the case study is used as research design. Researchers using in-depth interview to the owner of Meiyu Aiko in Malang. The results showed that the Marketing Strategy through social media and website for the promotion of costum rent’s service in Malang can build a strong relationship between management of Meiyu Aiko with consumers both online and offline. Promotional activities can easily provide brand awareness and can be transmitted by social media followers to users of other social media. This research also emphasize social media as online advertising that could be used as marketing strategy in today’s digital era.

Abstract

The informal sector in Ponorogo is an everyday phenomenon that is controversial. But the issue of the informal sector can not be left alone, because the day of their number grew in number and will result in teranggunya public space. To that end, the necessary data and information about the characteristics of the informal sector, as historically their efforts, the motivation to enter this sector, where they came from, educational background and experience, and so forth. This study aimed to determine the profile of the informal sector in Ponorogo. Results from this study indicate that it appears that the age group that most respondents are in the age group of 20-4; type of informal businesses followed, the majority of angkringan selling coffee, the majority of marital status is married with the level of education is dominated by high school graduates. Being the majority of them coming from the area of origin Ponorogo; with a daily average profit of Rp300.000,00. Medium initial capital used an average of Rp1.000.000,00-Rp3.000.000,00; with long pkerjaan who lived for more than 10 years.

The agile manufacturing a recently popularized concept has been advocated as the 21st century manufacturing paradigm. In adopting and developing the key elements of agile manufactruring, there is requirement for enterprises to overcome the philosophical challenges of a shift from mass/lean production to the customization of agility. Beside that, enterprises should explore the key success factors to support succesfull agile implementation.

Abstract

As one of Indonesian province playing barometer for the development of Islamic economic and Muslim aspiration, the Islamic banking presence in East Java is expected to have broader social role in poverty alleviation process. Through synergy process with stakeholders, a relatively new approach to support government program needs to be analyzed its feasibility. Study about integrated approaches on corporate social responsibility is necessary to undertake in order to comprehend the possible space and opportunity in enhancing East Java’s poverty reduction program. Methodology of study employing qualitative analysis with library research is done to answer potency and feasibility of CSR program in East Java. The result of study has concluded that although CRS concept is not relatively new in Islamic Economics, this strategy has been selected to sound inclusive and acceptable terminology for stakeholders involved. Integrated-CSR strategy approaches led by Islamic banking require an institution (SPV-special purpose vehicles) that can manage CSR fund productively and sustainably. This program must be supported by the availability of zakat (alms) fund as the pillars to provide basic needs for the poor. After the poor people (dhuafa) are able to fulfill their basic needs, the East Java’s micro-enterprises programs are effectively introduced in empowering them.

Abstract

The Moral hazard and skill of costumer are fundamental problems in fi nancing of sharia bank by muarabah contract. In order to reduce the risk of that problems, sharia bank obliges the bail for granted loan. This research aims to know how the determination of bail included in contracts of fi nancing, especially in muarabah contract. The approach of this research is qualitative descriptive approach. The analytic result shows that the collateral in sharia bank is different from conventional bank, it doesn’t bail the credits but it bails muarib for not breaking the agreement. Therefore, if the muarib incurred economical losses without breaking the agreement, the bail can’t be confi scated.

Abstract

The purpose of this research are to recognize turnover management program implementation effectiveness of management staffs of PT. BEHAESTEX Group and know the causes aspect the employee who leave out then program that given is the target precise. This research used qualitative method with qualitative descriptive research type. Information digging by in depth interview, observation, and documentation taken from HRD data. Research subjects as 18 respondents obtained from staff employee who already terminated from PT. BEHAESTEX Group since 2010 until 2012 and represented each department. The result of the research indicates that effective turnover management program only one program that is employee training. While three other programs that are induction and orientation, coaching and counseling, building and brainstorming ineffective. The causes are the aim does not appropriate, human resources development qualification as program implementer is lack of competence and inconsistency program implementation. Beside found that the causes aspect which result employee terminated could be classified with work term under two years namely unable to adjustment with corporate culture, high idealism and accepted as civil servant. While work term over two years the causes are injustice pay, superior mind pattern still departmental and career stage is unobvious.
