Abstract

The birth of technology often makes changes to the pattern of people’s lives. It is undeniable that the development of the media also plays an active role in changing one’s lifestyle, both electronic, print and online media. Students of the Faculty of Languages and Arts often share photos of their activities, holidays, or situation at that time. However, the author sees a lot of caption sentences that pay attention to effective sentences. This study aims to find out the general description of the ineffectiveness of sentences in the WhatsApp captions of students of the Faculty of Language and Arts, Indraprasta university, PGRI and to find out what factors are ineffective sentences in the WhatsApp captions of students of Faculty of Language and Arts, Indraprasta University, PGRI. The research focuses on the factors of the ineffectiveness of sentences contained in WhatsApp captions written by students of the Faculty of Language and Arts, Indraprasta University PGRI. The research method used is qualitative research with descriptive analysis techniques. The data was taken for seven days, from September 29 to October 5, 2021. The results showed the data: 19 foreign language influences, 1 pleonasm, 12 ambiguity, 1 reasoning error, 5 ambiguity of the core elements of the sentence, 9 regional language influences, 2 waste of word preposition, 1 inaccuracy of word meaning, and 5 ambiguity of word meaning.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the written mathematical communication skills of junior high school students in terms of high, medium and low interpersonal intelligence. This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. The subjects in this study were 6 class VIII-A students of SMP NU Simo in the 2019/2020 school year. The determination of the subject is based on the results of the interpersonal intelligence test. The question instrument given to the research subjects was a description test consisting of 3 items. The data used are the results of tests and interviews. The indicators of written mathematical communication skills in this study are (1) expressing mathematical ideas by writing down information on the problem about what is known and asked, (2) expressing ideas, daily situations and mathematical relations by describing shapes and description of the appropriate size problems, (3) understand and interpret mathematical ideas by writing the concept of formulas, steps and calculation of problem solving, (4) evaluating mathematical ideas by writing appropriate conclusions at the end of problem solving, and (5) using mathematical symbols in write down known information and process problem solving. Based on the data analysis that has been carried out, the results of this study indicate that: (1) junior high school students' written mathematical communication skills in terms of high interpersonal intelligence are able to meet 5 indicators of written mathematical communication skills, namely indicators 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5; (2) the written mathematical communication skills of junior high school students in terms of moderate interpersonal intelligence are able to meet 4 indicators of written mathematical communication skills, namely indicators 1, 3, 4, and 5; (3) written mathematical communication skills of junior high school students in terms of low interpersonal intelligence are able to meet 3 indicators of written mathematical communication skills, namely indicators 1, 3, and 4.

Abstract

Mastery of good and correct Indonesian language skills is an absolute requirement that must be possessed in the current era of communication and globalization. Learning Indonesian, especially the ability to write official letters at the SMK level, is the main material as part of the function of developing students' skills in the fields of Science, technology and the arts. live in the future. The use of the make a match learning model can improve student learning activities. This can be proven by the percentage of student activity in the first cycle of learning activities. The average score is 71.2 with a percentage of less than 36%, enough 16%, and good at 48%. In the second cycle, corrective action was taken to learn, and the results were satisfactory, the activeness of students in participating in Indonesian lessons in writing narrative texts had increased. The average score is 81.6 with a percentage of less than 8%, just 4%, good 88%. The use of the make a match learning model can also improve student achievement in class XII AKL-1 SMK Negeri 1 Pamekasan in Writing Official Letter Narrative Texts. This can be proven through an evaluation/written test with an average student score in the first cycle of 67.2 with a learning mastery rate of 64%, increasing in cycle 2 to an average of 78.4 with a learning mastery level of 88%.An abstranct is a brief summary of a research article, thesis, review, conference proceeding or any-depth analysis of a particular subject or disipline, and is often used to help the reader quickly ascertain the paper purposes. Absatrcting and indexing services for various academic discipline are aimed at compiling a body of literature for that particular subject. Abstract length varies by discipline and publisher requirements. Abstracts are typically sectioned logically as an overview of what appears in the paper.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in student activity and increase in student learning mastery after the restrictions on community activities during the pandemic through Contextual-Based Peer Tutorials, in learning. The learning process is carried out in two cycles. The variables studied are student activeness and student achievement. Active variable data is taken by observation, while learning achievement variable data is taken by tests. This research was conducted in Class XII Light Vehicle Engineering at SMK Negeri 2 Pamekasan for the academic year 2021/2022, with a total of 23 students. Cooperative learning with peer tutors is a learning model in which students work in groups with heterogeneous abilities, assisted by students who are aged almost the same age who are asked for help by the teacher to explain to their friends in the learning process, to help students develop thinking skills and problem solving skills, and become independent learners Learning with peer tutoring cooperative methods can improve the average value of students' interest in learning activities is 70.86 in the first cycle, becoming 81.73 in the second cycle. Cooperative learning with contextual-based peer tutors can also improve student learning achievement, from the average score of 68.26 student achievement test results with a completeness level of 69,56% In the first cycle to an average of 80, with a completeness level of 91,30% in cycle II. Thus the level of completeness II can be stated that classically students have completed. Based on the analysis of the data cycle, it can be concluded that the contextual-based peer tutorial cooperative method has a positive impact on increasing student learning activities in the learning process, especially on improving student achievement after the pandemic.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on the education sector, including the implementation of online learning. Google classroom is one of the Learning Management Systems (LMS) that can be an option for teachers in carrying out learning and communicating with students online. One way that can be used to carry out the online learning process is to use Google Classroom. Google Classroom-based learning can be accessed by all students through a google account. Based on the implementation carried out, the advantages of Google Classroom-based Mathematics learning are first, the set up process in Google Classroom is very fast and convenient. Second, using Google Classroom saves time. Third, improve cooperation and communication. Fourth, centralized data storage, all of which are in one centralized location in a specific folder. Fifth, fast resource sharing. Sixth, the teacher can create a list of student attendance in the form of a link using the Google Form application and then send it to Google Classroom.

Abstract

As a regional language used by the Madurese community, normatively the Madurese language has served as a means of communication between community groups that are geographically located in four districts, namely Bangkalan, Sampang, Pamekasan, Sumenep, and the surrounding areas. With the use of Indonesian as the only language of instruction from an early age at SekolahD, the Madurese language has been marginalized, because it is only used as a subject to fill local content. Students are no longer required to master the Madurese language properly and correctly. This condition is exacerbated by the fact that many young Madurese couples are reluctant to use the Madurese language as a language of communication in their daily lives. The above facts are acknowledged or not, sooner or later will drag the Madurese language in a position squeezed by the circumstances of the times. This research is a descriptive research with a qualitative approach. This study focuses on the implementation of the Madurese language as local content in the 2013 curriculum of SMK Negeri I Pamekasan. The results showed that the implementation of the Madurese language as a local content in SMK Negeri I Pamekasan was based on the Pamekasan Regency Regional Regulation No. 13 of 2006 concerning the system of providing education in Pamekasan district which requires the teaching of Madurese language to be given from kindergarten to high school / vocational level. With the stipulation of the 2013 curriculum as the Madura language national curriculum, it has a special place as local content lessons, this refers to the East Java Governor's Regulation (PERGUB) Number 19 of 2014 concerning regional language subjects as Mandatory Local Content in schools/Madrasah in East Java. The regulation is intended as a vehicle to instill aesthetic, ethical, moral, spiritual, and character educational values. Meanwhile, the aim is to preserve, develop, and create regional languages ​​and literature, which are regional assets and wealth. Regarding the implementation of the Madurese language as local content at SMK Negeri 1 Pamekasan, the results are less than optimal, this occurs because the Madurese language teacher is not a teacher who has linguistic competence, this can be seen from the implementation of Madurese language learning which includes Planning, Implementation, and Evaluation.

Abstract

This study aims to determine changes in class XII-AK 2 students' interest and learning achievement in Computer Accounting subjects using the problem-based learning method, as well as changes in class XII-AKL2 students' learning outcomes in Computer Accounting subjects at SMK Negeri 1 Pamekasan. This study consists of two cycles of classroom action research: cycle I and cycle II. This study's sample consisted of 25 students from class XII-AKL 2-SMK Negeri 1 Pamekasan. Data collection techniques used are written tests, questionnaires, observation. In data analysis, descriptive analysis was used. Data analysis revealed that students' learning skills improved from cycle I to cycle II, with cycle I having an average score of 68.4 and a percentage of less than 44 percent (11 students), sufficient 24 percent (6 students), and good 32 percent (32 students) (8 students). In cycle II, the average score is 79.6, with less than eight percent (2 students), sufficient twelve percent (3 students), and good activity eighty percent (20 students). After the teaching and learning process with the application PBL Learning Method, student achievement results also demonstrate changes. Thus, the level of cycle II student learning completion has been formally declared complete. The conclusion of this study is that problem-based learning learning methods can have a positive effect on students in the learning process, particularly in terms of improving student achievement, as indicated by the increase in the average score of students from 67.2 with learning completeness reaching 56% in the first cycle to 80.4 with learning mastery reaching 92% in the second cycle.
