Abstract

The province of Bali with the largest number of foreign tourists to the 9.73% growth in 2011,became the public and government concern in the case of HIV/AIDS. Denpasar city was ranked to be thefirst of people with HIV by 1,949 people (KPA province of Bali, 2012). The study on the sex tourism inASEAN is reported by the Child Wise Tourism Australia in 2007, Indonesia was considered as thedestination for sex tourism which involve children and young women. The aim of the study was toanalyze the effect of group therapy self-protection knowledge and attitudes of Commercial street sexworkers aged 15–18 years. Method: The design used in this study was pre - experimental design with thedesign of One Group Pre- test - post-test design. The sample of this study was 18 people consisting of 3groups, each group consisting of 6 persons. Snowball sampling technique was used to the respondentswho met the inclusion criteria. Result: Statistical test results using paired t - test sample showed anincrease in knowledge on STI, attitudes of self-protection. Knowledge t = 7243 , the attitude of t = 6,803with table=2:21. Discussion: The conclusion of this research showed that there were significant effect ofthe interpersonal group therapy model with knowledge of STI, attitudes of self-protection against STI tothe customer. It was suggested that socialization and coaching on the use of condoms should be increasedas well as providing sustainable skills in order to become capital for them not to go back intoprostitution.

Abstract

Hypertension is the condition of blood pressure more than 120/80 mmHg in rest position. Thepurpose of this study illustrate the risk of hypertension at student Scienntific 3 Nursing Program BlitarMethod: The research design was description design. The population are all students who study atScienntific 3 Polytechnic Campus Health Ministry of Health Malang by 294 students, the total ofsamples this study were 224 student and using quota sampling technique. The data was collected byRisk Score for Predicting Near-Term Incidence of Hipertension. Result: The result showed that risk 1years ago 100% have low risk, risk 2 years ago 99,1% have low risk, 9% have midle risk, and risk 4years ago 93,8% have low risk, 5,4% have midle risk, 9% have high risk. Discussion: Recomendationfrom this study are expected to be used as as consideration to create a new program in of healthy preventhypertension on students.

Abstract

Newborns in hospitals often have a variety of invasive procedures, so that the baby is experiencingpain. Baby’s sense of discomfort and fear which will result from the pain can be observed throughthe tears. While wrapping the newborn to fit in a blanket (swaddling) can soothe a fussy baby or cry. Thepurpose of this study was to identify the effect of swaddling on pain response in neonates after venousblood sampling procedures in hospitals Ngudi Waluyo Wlingi. This study was descriptive. Samplestaken by accidental sampling technique with a sample of 35 neonates. The results showed that swaddledneonates after venous blood sampling procedure was 80% (28 respondents) pulse between 120–160times per minute, 100% (35 respondents) respiration between 30–60 times per minute and 51.4% (18respondents) SaO2 is greater than 92%. Behavioral responses such as shrill and loud cry was 8.4% (24respondents), stretching in some facial muscles and facial muscles stretching along each was 4.2% (12respondents), a strong move is 5.95% (17 respondents ), and increased muscle tone face with flexion ofthe fingers and toes was 7.7% (22 respondents).Use of swaddling post venous blood sampling proceduresin neonates can be used as a way of making neonates feel comfortable and calm.

Midwifery care is pregnancy health education courses in midwifery in order to get the optimalresult required an innovative learning models. There are many models of learning one is Problem basedlearning.Thus researchers want to analyze the effectiveness of Problem Based Learning in Pregnancyon Obstetrical Care learning Diploma Program. This research were done in STIKes Patria HusadaBlitar, On 25 February until march 8 th 2014.Methode: The research use kuantitatif approach, Trueexperimental. Population and sampel is student in college third semesters. Amount of 38 student,divideinto 2 groups, choice in random. Independent Variable Problem Based learning, Dependent Variableparticipation learning.Result:The results showed there was a significant influenced beetwen pre n postof leraning participate.

Abstract

One of the programs of the Blitar City Health Department, through field work on the Child andAdolescent Nutrition, is socialization and acculturation efforts iron tablet supplement (Fe) in all schoolsin Blitar. SMP Negeri 4 Blitar City is the only school that has successfully implemented a program whichhas been carried by the Blitar city Health Department for 5 consecutive years, lie in 2010 until now(2014). The purpose of this study is to describe the level of hemoglobin in young women who consumediron supplementation (Fe) in SMP Negeri 4 Blitar City. The method is descriptive, research instrumentssuch as questionnaires and Sahli hemoglobin. The population of young women at SMP Negeri 4 BlitarCity are 438 respondents and the samples are 65 respondents using proportional stratified randomsampling method. Data collection takes place in June 2012, known that the results of this study isnormal, by 77% (50 girls), low by 14% (9 girls), and high by 9% (6 girls). The frequency, pattern, longdrink, solvents, and activity are several factors that can affect hemoglobin levels. Beside of the results,there was hopefully an collaboration between SMP Negeri 4 Blitar City and Blitar city Health Departmentto get evaluation of hemoglobin levels of young women who consumed iron supplementation (Fe)in SMP Negeri 4 Blitar City.

Abstract

The process of aging is a process of gradual disappearance of the network’s ability to improve.Depression is one of the most common disorders in the elderly who need handling holistic and balancedin the physical, mental and social. The research aim was to indentify the grade of depression elderlypeople in Blitar society service of elderly people at Tulungagung. The research design used descriptiveresearch. The population of this research was all of elderly at Blitar society service of elderly people atTulungagung. The sampel size was 45 elderly (21 men elderly and 24 women elderly) with porposivesampling. The research held on 21 febuary 2014 at Blitar society service of elderly people at Tulungagung.In this research, data was preserved in descriptive analysis with fequency table and radian diagram bypercentage and narration. From the research result got the elderly had no depression amount 17,8%,the next elderly with light depression amount 22,2%, the next elderly with medium depression amount22,2% and elderly with heavy depression amount 37,8%. From the results of researches are expected tomanagers elderly people in Blitar society service of elderly people at Tulungagung. improve services forthe prevention of cases of depression in the elderly.

Abstract

HIV/AIDS (Human Immunodeficiency Virus / Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome) haslong been an issue along with the continued attention of various circles around the world, especiallythe health sector. The purpose of this study was to determine the characteristics of the relationship withthe health workers in health centers stigma on people living with HIV Talun Blitar regency. This studyused a cross-sectional study design with a population of 36 respondents that all the research sample.Collecting data using questionnaires. Analysis of data using statistical test Pearson and Spearman rhocorrelation with p  0.05. There is no relationship between education and stigma on people living withHIV, with a value of p = 0.367 in Spearman rho correlation test. There is a relationship between longworking with the stigma on people living with HIV, with p = 0.046 in correlatioan Pearson test. Thereis a relationship between knowledge of HIV/AIDS stigma on people living with HIV, with p = 0.035 incorrelatioan Pearson test. Need more attention from policy makers at government level for programs ofprevention of transmission of HIV/AIDS among health workers, by providing a uniform and continuoustraining to all health workers.

Abstract

Teenagers are the vulnerable group of contracting HIV because of changes in the reproductiveorgans are more mature in adolescents, causing a boost sexual arousal and stronger in her teens.The purpose of this study was to describe the knowledge and attitudes of adolescents in the preventionof HIV/AIDS. The method used descriptive, a population of this research is all student on second gradeof catholic high school students of Diponegoro Blitar were 219, the samples size was 65 students usingsystematic random sampling techniques, and use of a questionnaire. The results showed knowledge inthe prevention of adolescent HIV/AIDS some 66% (43 students) had good knowledge. The attitude ofyoung people in the prevention of HIV/AIDS some 52% (34 students) had a positive attitude, because allstudent have given health promotion about HIV/AIDS. Recommendations of this study are expected toconduct health promotion officer of health promotion, education materials that expand the knowledgeand attitudes of adolescents can develop better and will affect the health status of adolescents.

Abstract

Abstract: Tubercolusis is an infection disease that can prevented through the family effort. The studypurpose was to describe the family effort to prevent transmission of tuberculosis. This study was descriptive.The study population was all of family who have family members suffering of tuberculosis wasrecord in UPTD Kesehatan Kota Blitar as many as 36 families. The sample used total population.Collecting data using questionnaires. The questionnaire filled in by family members who care for andassist the patient every day. The results showed 6% of the family effort of prevention were better category,36% of the family effort of prevention were enough category, and 58% of the family effort of preventionwere less category. Less family efforts prevention showed were that do not shut your mouth when coughing,coughing does not turn heads, discard sputum by not hoarded, not given a sputum container with liquidsoap (disinfectant), and sputum container is not closed. The family efforts not supported toprevent were not drying mattress least once a week, family members not consume healthy foods, and alittle consume of vitamin C. Recommended were UPTD Kesehatan Kota Blitar to provide health educationof transmission Tuberculosis in the family and the improved health status of the family.
