EDUKASI is a peer-reviewed scientific journal that focuses on Religious Educational Research. It published by Center for Research And Development of Religious Education, Republic Indonesia Ministry of Religious Affairs, since 2003 and had been released three times a year. Now (since 2017) it governed in associated and corporated to Religious Researchers Association. And since 2009 it had been accredited by Indonesian Science Institution. Nowadays are about to prepare for becoming International Journal reputation that would be indexed at global high ranked index. As the scientific reading material publication, the EDUKASI aimed to provide readers with a better comprehensive understanding of Religious Educational Studies in Indonesia, and even around Asia countries and the world. We invited all researchers, lecturers, teachers, and whoever interested and have a manuscript of religious education to send off what you have been researched and reported to be published in EDUKASI. The articles should be original, unpublished and not under review for possible publication in any other journals. All submitted manuscripts will be blindly-reviewed by qualified academics in the field. This process may take several weeks or months.

Abstract

AbstractThis case study research aims at finding the implementation of local Government’s policy on the reading-writing the Qur’an. The research is carried out in a number of regions that have policy on the reading-writing the Qur’an. i.e.: Pekanbaru, Kampar, Indramayu, Tasikmalaya, Serang, Cilegon, Banjarmasin, Banjar, Maros, Gowa, Gorontalo, and East Lombok. The research outcome explains that the Local Government’s policy on the reading-writing the Qur’an is set out in the Local Regulation, Regional Regulation, Call out of the Regent, Governor’s Instruction, and Instruction of Education Office Head. The implementation of the policy is executed by a certification obligation of the competency on the reading-writing the Qur’an as an acceptance requirement for a new student at the educational levels of junior high school and senior high school as well as vocational school. AbstrakPenelitian studi kasus ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi kebijakan Pemerintah Daerah tentang baca-tulis Al-Qur’an. Penelitian dilakukan pada sejumlah daerah yang memiliki kebujakan tentang baca-tulis Al-Qur’an, yakni: Pekanbaru, Kampar, Indramayu, Tasikmalaya, Serang, Cilegon, Banjarmasin, Banjar, Maros, Gowa, Gorontalo, and Lombok Timur. Hasil penelitian menjelaskan bahwa kebijakan Pemerintah Daerah tentang baca-tulis Al-Qur’an dituangkan dalam Peraturan Daerah, Peraturan Bupati, Himbauan Bupati, Instruksi Gubernur, dan Instruksi Kepala Dinas Pendidikan. Implementasi kebijakan tersebut dilaksanakan melalui adanya kewajiban sertifikasi kemampuan baca-tulis Al-Qur’an sebagai persyaratan penerimaan siswa baru pada jenjang pendidikan menengah pertama dan jenjang menengah atas, serta sekolah kejuruan.

Abstract

AbstractThis writing constitutes a recording toward participatory research in the course of economic development at the Islamic boarding school. The discussion reveals the research process performed, including identification stage which is directed to determine which field to be developed. A strengthening stage is to supply the student related to the fishery materials. The implementation stage is the activity implementation with replication pattern. Companion stage as a dialogue media between the targeted Islamic boarding school and companion one. Reflection stage constitutes a collective evaluation media to identify problem faced in the implementation to determine a follow-up. AbstrakTulisan ini merupakan rekaman terhadap penelitian partisipatif dalam rangka pengembangan ekonomi di pesantren. Pembahasannya mengungkap proses penelitian yang dilakukan, meliputi tahap identifikasi yang diarahkan untuk menentukan bidang apa yang akan dikembangkan. Tahap penguatan untuk membekali santri terkait mater-materi perikanan. Tahap implementasi adalah pelaksanaan materi dengan pola replikasi. Tahap pendampingan sebagai wadah dialog antara pesantren sasarang dengan pesantren pendamping. Tahap refleksi yang merupakan ajang evaluasi bersama untuk mengidentifikasi permasalahan yang dihadapi dalam pelaksanaan yang selanjutnya untuk menentukan tindaklanjut.

Abstract

AbstractThis research aims at finding a response of the islamic boarding school against Information Technology (IT), strategy applied and teacher’s ability in applying it. The research outcome explains that the response of the Islamic boarding school against the IT constitutes a part of ots responses toward modernization. The respon of the Islamic boarding school against the IT that constitutes an adaptive and anticipative act. The adaptive attitude against the IT utilization constitutes as a complement in the learning process. Meanwhile, anticipative attitude is built on an importance of updating the integrated learning process by applying the IT to all activities, particularly in the learning process. A utilization strategy of the IT carried out by the Islamic boarding house could not have evoked any motivation and creativity of the student in the learning process. However, generally the teacher or preacher at the Islamic boarding school coming from different educational background could have maximally applied the information technology. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui respon pondok pesantren terhadap teknologi informasi (TI), strategi yang digunakan dan kemampuan pendidik menggunakannya. Hasil penelitian menjelaskan bahwa respon pondok pesantren terhadap TI merupakan bagian dari responnya terhadap modernisasi. Respon pondok pesantren terhdap TI merupakan tindakan adaptif dan antisipatif. Sikap adaptif terhadap pemanfaatan TI sebagai pelengkap dalam proses pembelajaran. Sedangkan sikap antisipatif dibangun atas dasar pentingnya pembaharuan proses pembelajaran yang integratif dengan menerapkan TI pada seluruh kegiatan, khususnya dalam proses pembelajaran. Strategi pemanfaatan TI oleh pondok pesantren belum dapat membangkitkan motivasi dan kreatifitas santri salam proses pembelajaran. Namun demikian, umumnya guru atau ustadz di pondok pesantren dari latar belakang pendidikan yang berbeda, telah dapat menerapkan teknologi informasi secara maksimal.

Abstract

AbstractA sexual education at Islamic boarding school constitutes a part of ots knowledge tradition. Although public has not comprehended yet, however, this research is trying to elaborate the sexual education concept which is developed by the Islamic Boarding School of Salafi Bani Syafi’i Cilegon Banten. It covers material problem, method and approach, orientation, and perception on the students regarding the material. This research outcome explains that the sexual education has been actually taught at the Islamic boarding school since at the beginning of the education. The undertsanding of the student on the sexual education is very good. AbstrakPendidikan seks di pesantren merupakan bagian dari tradisi keilmuan tersendiri. Meskipun publik belum memahaminya secara baik. Penelitian ini mencoba menggambarkan konsep pendidikan seks yang dikembangkan oleh Pondok Pesantren Salafi Bani Syafi’i Cilegon Banten. Meliputi masalah materi, metode dan pendekatan, orientasi, serta pemahaman para santri tentang materi tersebut. Hasi penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa pendidikan seks sesungguhnya sudah diajarkan d pesantren tersebut sejak awal pendidikan. Pemahaman santri tentang pendidikan seks sangat baik.

Abstract

AbstractThis research is performed by the student at Grade XI of the Islamic State Senior High School of South Jakarta, in the odd semester for the academic year 2009-2010. The research sample is the student at grade XI at three Islamic State Senior High Schools in South Jakarta. A data collection is performed by a causal survey with lane analysis technique and using a relation test on causative with exploratory, i.e, track analysis. This research outcome explains that; 1) the students who are capable of (understanding or comprehending, rading letters with proper spelling in accordance with principles and able to interpret either in linguistic or psycholinguistic manner) reading Qur’an which is proven to acquire a satisfied score for the lesson of Moral Faith; 2) the students who have well-self concept (skill and capability) is proven to hoghly influence on the learning outcome of the Moral Faith; and 3) the students who are capable of reading the Qur’an well is proven to be highly influenced by a true self-concept of the students. AbstrakPenelitian ini dilakukan pada siswa kelas XI Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Jakarta Selatan, pada semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2009-2010. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI di tiga Madrasah Aliyah Negeri di Jakarta Selatan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan survei kausal dengan teknik analisis jalur dan menggunakan uji hubungan sebab akibat dengan eksploratori, yaitu analisis jalur. Hasil penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa; 1) siswa yang mampu (mengerti ata memahami, melafalkan huruf-huruf dengan makhraj huruf yang sesuai dengan kaidah-kaidah dan dapat menginterpretasikan baik secara linguistik maupun psykolinguistik) membaca al-Qur’an terbukti memperoleh nilai yang memuaskan pada pelajaran Aqidah Akhlak; 2) siswa yang memiliki konsep diri matang (keteampilan dan kecakapan) terbukti sangat berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar Aqidah Akhlak; dan 3) siswa yang mampu membaca al-Qur’an dengan baik terbukti sangat dipengaruhi oleh konsep diri siswa yang benar-benar matang.

Abstract

Abstrak This writing is trying to reveal a friction or change of the education at Genggong Islamic Boarding School. What kind of factors cause the friction (major values and concerns of society); how the education network is built; who becomes actor and how the impact againts the educational system of the Islamic boarding school in the future? The friction relates to perception, imaging, and expectation on educational program, type, level and education unit, as well as network built including its relatedness to salafiyah values in the form of perception on tafaqquh fiddin and Islamic boarding school culture.  AbstrakTulisan ini mencoba mengungkap pergeseran atau perubahan orientasi pendidikan di Pondok Pesantren Genggong. Faktor apa saja yang menyebabkan terjadinya pergeseran (major values and concerns of society); bagaimana jaringan pendidikan yang dibangun; siapa saja yang menjadi aktor dan bagaimana dampaknya terhadap sistem pendidikan pesantren ke depan? Pergeseran berkaitan dengan pemahaman (perception), penggambaran (imaging), dan harapan (expectation) tenntang program pendidikan, jenis, jenjang dan satuan pendidikan, serta jaringan yang dibangun, termasuk keterkaitannya dengan nilai-nilai salafiyah dalam bentuk pemahaman tafaqquh fiddin dan kultur pesantren.
