Abstract

This research aims to examine the difference of Original Regional Revenue Surabaya before and after the Online Tax System in the 2015-2017 period. The population in this research are hotel tax, restaurant tax, and parking tax in Surabaya city area in every month at 2015-2017 period which amount to 36 data. The data in this research are secondary data covering the realization and target of hotel tax, restaurant tax, and parking tax during the 2015-2017 period obtained from Surabaya City Financial and Regional Tax Management Board. Hypothesis test using independent t independent test analysis, using SPSS. The results showed that there are differences in the original income of Surabaya city before and after the online tax system in 2015-2017. The achievement of effectiveness level before and after the online system is an increase in hotel tax and parking tax, whereas in restaurant tax the achievement of its effectiveness is stable from 2015-2017. So with the online tax system will provide convenience and provide oversight of taxpayers in reporting the amount of tax, so the potential for tax leakage can be minimized which will automatically give influence in increasing the original income of the city of Surabaya

Abstract

This article discusses the effect of urbanization on the Human Development Index during 2010-16. It shows that Jakarta has the highest population growth and Gross Domestic Regional Product. However, Surabaya has the highest Human Development Index. Even though,  Jakarta, with the highest  Gross Domestic Regional Product,  does not indicate the highest Human Development Index. On the other hand, Medan has the lowest Gross Domestic Regional Product.  Not only does Medan has the lowest  Gross Domestic Regional Product, but also it has the lowest Human Development Index.

Abstract

This research aims to examine and analyze the influence of situational leadership style, organizational culture and compensation on the performance of employees. The methods used in this research is descriptive method. The object of this research is all staff office division who worked in PT. CIMB NIAGA Kuningan Plaza Branch Office with a population 75 people. The sampling using the method of population (census) is to examine the entire population. The approach used in this research is a Structural Equation Models (SEM) with Smart analysis tools-PLS.The results showed situational leadership style gives a positive and significant influence on employee performance.organizational culture gives a positive and significant influence on employee performance. Compensation provides a positive and significant effect on performance employees. This is evidenced from the results of hypothesis testing (t-test) which shows the significance value of the independent variables.

Abstract

This study aims to test the impact of the independent commissioners, board of directors, audit committee, ownership of institutional and management shares and size of the firm on the firm performance of the firms listed at Indonesian Stock Exchange Index LQ45 for two consecutive years of the period  February 2014 to January 2016.  This study uses the sampling data of 31 firms.  The sampling is based on the method of purposive sampling.  The process of analyzing data is carried out with analysis partially first and then analysis simultaneous. The statistic method used is SPPS ( Statistical Product and Service Solution) to obtain descriptive statistics, correlation of variables and analysis of variance. The result of the partial analysis shows that there are two variables has a significant influence on the firm performance which is a portion of independent commissioner and ownership of institutional shares.  Whereas, the result of the simultaneous analysis has shown a significant impact.

Abstract

This search has the purpose to provide emperical evidence about factors that affect health of banks. The examine factors internal on this research are CAMELS and the examine factor external on this research is Gross Domestic Product (GDP). The sample consist of 29 banks.Object of this study is the commercial banks operating in Indonesia in 2012-2015. Determination of sampling technique using purposive sampling method in which the sample is taken with certain criteria. Because the data is used are secondary datawith a quantitative approach, it is necessary to determine the accuracy of the model on some assumption of hypothesis testing using Stata tools. The result showed a partial variable NPL and IER are significant effect on the level of health. While variable CAR, NPM, ROA, LDR, and GDP insignificant effect of the health of the bank. During the period 2012-2015 there were more than 50% showed a stable bank or banks that are in the title of Fit. Although they are some banks that have increased and decreased to earn the tittle of unhealthy for 4 periods.

Abstract

The bank competition in Indonesia is high, conventional banks and sharia banks strive to improve competitiveness and gain positioning in the minds of the consumers. Previous research conducted by @bankmandiri compared to @syariahmandiri in 2015 gives the managerial implication that Syariah bank's Twitter is not as active as a conventional bank. @bankmandiri frequency compared to @syariahmandiri is different. The variety of the service proposition @syariahmandiri is fewer than the variety of service proposition @bankmandiri. The follow-up research is conducted by using the @syariahmandiri tweets data from January to July 2016. The data was processed with the Provalis Research software, to obtain descriptive frequencies, hashtags, mentions and extracted name entities, cluster analysis, and to obtain the service proposition of @syariahmandiri. The results show a robust development @syariahmandiri twitter activities, an increasing number of tweet frequencies and varieties of service proposition compare with January to December 2015 dataset.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the performance of food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from the period 2009 to 2016, in terms of non-financial factors consisting of corporate governance as measured by Board Size, Independent Board of Commissioners, Audit Committee, and Concentrated Ownership. Another non-financial factors are innovation which is one of the supporting factors to improve performance. Capital structure plays an important role in improving organizational performance. To analyze the effect on organizational performance in terms of non-financial factors and capital structure, this study uses multiple linear regression with panel data. The results of this study indicate that the Board Size.

Abstract

This research is to find out the influence of the current ratio, debt to equity ratio, and price book value on the stock price of companies listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange transportation sub sector. The sample selection in this research using purposive sampling. The research data is obtained from Indonesia Stock Exchange. The method used in this research is panel data regression analysis and it is found that the more appropriate model used is random effect. From result of research got partially show that price book value variable have positive and significant effect to stock price. However, the partial current ratio variable have positive and no significant effect on the stock price and the variable of debt to equity ratio partially have negative and no significant effect on the stock price.

Abstract

The purpose of this empirical research is to examine the effect of firm size, financial leverage, profitability, and cash holding against income smoothing in the manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2014 to 2016. This research uses 63 manufacturing companies that were selected using purposive sampling method for a total of 189 data in three years.In this study, the hypotheses test is performed using the logistic regression model.The results showed that profitability, cash holding and firm size has no effect on income smoothing. Financial Leverage has a negative influence on income smoothing.
