Abstract

Comic media is one form of media and learning resources that can help students and can replace the teacher position in learning activities both in class and outside the classroom. Comic media can be used in a two-way learning process, namely as a learning tool and as a medium of learning that can be used alone by students. From field observation that the learning of PAI in the form of learning comic has never been utilized. So that the presence of learning media in the form of comics is expected to help teachers or lecturers in the process of learning in the classroom to run in an effective and efficient quality. Comic media can be applied to convey messages in various sciences, and because of its attractive appearance. This media is very interesting in students' lives and is widely available in reading stores as well as the fact that some of the students recognize and memorize the characters of the comics they see.This research will be conducted on junior high school 6 Grade 7 or 8 students, because at that time it is a transition period to adult so it needs a media to improve learning achievement, quality and efficiency of learning. This study aims to produce or develop a product and test it, namely improving the quality and efficiency of learning Islamic religious education through the use of comics as a medium of learning. The new product is PAI comic learning media. This research type is Quantitative Research that is by conducting experiment of using a comic learning media product in PAI splitting by using Gain Score Test. Based on the results of the Gain Score Test in the control class obtained an average value of 0.3 and the treatment class obtained an average value of 0.57. So it can be concluded that treatment classes that use PAI comic media have significantly improved learning outcomes compared to control classes using conventional learning media.

Abstract

The use of comics as a learning media is very rare to find, the tendency of teachers lazy to use because it must first draw a strong reason teachers do not use this media. Comics as a learning medium is very powerful and can evoke students' understanding of the material because of the interesting storyline and the existence of images that are favored by children, researchers want to try to cultivate and introduce to the public and educators that the comic media can be an alternative learning meda, especially the comic strips which are the simplest and easiest types of comics. This introduction is done through an experimental study conducted in SDMT Ponorogo which incidentally as an elementary school favorite and excel in the field of academic and applied in class 4 with class considerations that have unique characteristics. It is expected that the results of this Research will be of great benefit to educators and learners in all classes in general.

Abstract

Learning is the basic human need to know something, whether packed formally or not. There is not one method that is appropriate and certainly appropriate with all students. Students have their own learning styles between one another can’t be equated. Real memorable learning comes from the will of the heart, not coercion. The uniqueness of each individual is what makes the variety of learning styles should be understood so that each student can overcome difficulties learning. In the implementation of learning many teachers doesn’t understand the learning style, so as to force students to always pay attention to the speech and explanation of teachers. The learning process will be effective if the method of learning  used can accommodate students. Research on the most appropriate teaching methods turns out to be a failure, because each teaching method depends on the way or style of the student in learning. This research was conducted in the school as a place of observation (field research) by using a quantitative approach. Data were collected by questionnaires, observations, interviews, and document studies which were then processed and analytically analyzed descriptively. The results of research showed that a class can not be equally aligned using and applying a single learning method only. Because in the class there are several learning styles of students. The student's learning style visually dominates the class, followed by the auditorial style, and the kinesthetic style. This research also provides advice to educators / teachers to understand the diversity of student learning styles. so that with the basic teachers are required to be more creative and innovative in applying the method of learning so that all learning styles of students can be accommodated, so that with this understanding of learning achievement can be improved.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to improve the learning outcomes of science of human body and animal 5th grade animal organ function through the application of interactive model based on flash. This form of research is a classroom action research of 2 cycles. Each cycle consists of 4 stages: planning, action implementation, observation and reflection. The subjects of the study were the 5th graders of SDN 05 Dagen as many as 20 students. Data collection techniques use observation, interview, test and documentation. Data analysis technique used is interactive analysis model which has three component that is data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. Based on the results of research that is with the implementation of learning in the cycle I and cycle II can be concluded that there is an increase in learning outcomes by applying interactive multimedia based flash. This can be demonstrated by the increased ability of students from before and after action.

Abstract

The institution always expects the output quality and personality, but if the surroundings of education never give appropriate habitus, then the result will not be achieved. On the basis of this research, trying to peel about the role of habitus in developing intellectual capital which is a student at Ma'had synergy between the structure with an agency, how an intellectual capital created and run in a Ma'had university. The question of the Islamic College during this time, when students are extremely variable input, its ability to be tough in the formation and determination of the standard of their abilities.  The results of this study found that the role of habitus intellectual capital improvement done in Mahad Aly Al Furqon Ponorogo there are seven models of the structure that supports the students ' intellectual capital development in Ma'had Aly Al Furqon Ponorogo. As for overcoming the Burnout, the students do a variety of activities that make students fresh so avoid burnout. The results of the intellectual capital developed in the Mahad Aly Al Furqon students achieved the target of memorizing a set amount and the more intellectual growth of students marked with a creative, independent inquiries, in drawing up the scientific agenda, active removing the arguments in different ways.

Abstract

This study entitled Analysis of Reading Difficulties in Mental Retardation Students In Primary School (Case Study In SDN Kedungputri 2). The background of this research is the emergence of learning problems in mentally retarded children attending regular elementary school (not designated as inclusive primary). This study aims to find out the learning process, especially learning to read mental retardation children in SDN Kedungputri 2, Paron, Ngawi and to find out the steps taken in overcoming the difficulties of reading children mental retardation in SDN Kedungputri 2, Paron, Ngawi. This research is descriptive qualitative research. The data collected in this research are facts and information on the implementation of character education of discipline in elementary school. In this study the data source is teachers and students. Data collection techniques used in this study consist of (a) observation, (b) interview, and (c) test. In this study the validity of the data using data triangulation. Data analysis technique is done by using interactive data model analysis technique. Based on the data collected can be seen that students who experience mental retardation initials AS and the students have difficulty reading. Teachers continue to pay attention to the difficulties of learning to read the beginning to the AS.
