Abstract

Based on Law Number 20 of 2003 concerning the National Education System, Article 1 point 14 states that early childhood education is a coaching effort aimed at children from birth to the age of six which is carried out through the provision of educational stimuli to help growth and physical and mental development. spiritually so that children have readiness to enter further education. To support this understanding, quality human resources are urgently needed as a priority for national development, the position and role of teachers is increasingly important in preparing the nation's young generation, especially in facing the current global era. The problem that occurs in the selection of outstanding teachers in early childhood education is that the selection is still subjective, causing it to be unfair. For this reason, a decision support system is needed that can overcome these problems by using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method as a basis for decision making. The method uses 5 criteria, namely education, pedagogy, professionalism, personality and social. The purpose of the support system is to make it easier and faster to determine outstanding teachers so that decisions are objective. Based on the results of the calculations in this study, the results for teacher 1 with a value of 0.85, teacher 2 obtained a value of 0.70, teacher 3 obtained a value of 0.9375, teacher 4 with a value of 0.8625 and teacher 5 with a value of 0.8625 0 ,7625. For this reason, the selection of kindergarten level teachers obtained the best alternative with the highest score being teacher 3 (V3) with a value of 0.9375.

Abstract

Aglaonema adalah tanaman hias mengalir dalam keluarga arum Aracae yang banyak diminati oleh masyarakat saat ini dan salah satu kemampuan tanaman aglaonema adalah dapat hidup pada kondisi lingkungan dengan intensitas cahaya rendah yang dapat dipelihara pada ruangan seperti kantor dan dekorasi ruangan. Kunci sukses budidaya aglaonema adalah penyiraman, dan ini harus dilakukan dengan baik. Penyiraman tanaman aglaonema dapat dilakukan secara konvensional yaitu dilakukan oleh manusia. Namun, berdasarkan pengamatan, metode konvensional ini menimbulkan masalah dan kendala utamanya adalah petani kesulitan dalam memeriksa dan memantau intensitas air dan kelembaban di dalam media tanam. Dengan Adanya teknologi IoT (Internet of Things) semua perangkat yang terhubung dengan internet dapat dikendalikan dan dipantau menggunakan smartphone dimanapun kita berada serta pengontrolan penyiraman dapat terjadi secara otomatis. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut di atas, kami merancang sistem e-watering yang memungkinkan penyiraman tanaman aglaonema dilakukan secara digital menggunakan sistem aplikasi IoT. Adapun untuk perancangan prototipe sistem penyiraman elektronik tanaman Aglaonema meliputi Unified Modeling Language, dalam hal ini kita hanya akan fokus pada use case diagram, use case scenario, serta Interface design. Penulis menggunakan model proses prototipe sebagai kerangka konseptual penelitian, namun dalam artikel ini kami hanya membahas pada tahap desain saja.

Abstract

West Tulang Bawang Regency was formed on March 20, 1997 through Law Number 2 of 1997 with an area of ​​1,201 Km2 or 22% of the area of ​​Lampung province. With such an area, of course, Tulang Bawang Barat district has many complex urban problems, especially for improving services to its people. Until 2019, through the MoU between the local government and the Banyuwangi Regency Government in the development of e-government, it was indicated that the West Tulang Bawang Regency Government had begun to be serious about dealing with regional problems using Information Technology assistance. By realizing the magnitude of the challenges and efforts to accelerate development and shorten the span of control of public services in the Sai Bumi Nengah Nyapur area. In line with these problems, the government of West Tulang Bawang Regency and other stakeholders are committed to accelerating the development of smart cities in West Tulang Bawang Regency. In order to produce a smart city that suits the needs of society and government. On this basis, researchers are trying to examine the readiness of Tulang Bawang Barat Regency in implementing the smart city concept by utilizing the measurement concept of the Garuda Smart City Model (GSCM) where this framework is commonly used in measuring the maturity of a city in implementing smart cities with the target of determining existing conditions, development of recommendations, roadmaps and ratings

Abstract

Investigating the possibility of lower-level computer programming courses predicting future performance of computer science students has received a lot of attention from scholars. This study mainly aimed to predict the success of computer science students based on their performance in the first two computer programming courses, namely Computer Programming I and Computer Programming II. The study employed a quantitative correlational design. Six years of data from graduating students were analyzed. The results demonstrate that the better the grade on Computer Programming I and II, the shorter the study duration. When further analysis was conducted to find out whether gender diversity exists, the results demonstrated that in Computer Programming I and II, female students outperformed males. Statistically, this difference was only significant in Computer Programming I. A greater proportion of female students graduated on time, yet it is not statistically significant.
