Abstract

This paper discusses the idea of a new era of visionary Islamic education 4.0, this study is a philosophical normative, and philosophical, substantial approach. The method used is analytical descriptive supported by authoritative sources. This study offers an offer on Islamic education to get out of the problems of Islamic education that occur in its implementation, both the dichotomy of science, exclusivism, and only in the form of teaching that does not teach students. So this paper proves the importance of a new era of Islamic education that follows the 4.0 industrial revolution by participating in self-discipline by creating non-dichotomic education, inclusivism, and changing from teaching to learning, with a digital basis so that Islamic education is able to develop its potential, and learn to complete all life problems or with the term learning how to learn.

Abstract

This paper discusses the education of faith in the Qur'an, this research is a philosophical normative study, and philosophical, substantial. The method used is descriptive analytic supported by authoritative sources. This study concludes that the implementation of faith education has several stages that must be passed, so that the cultivation of understanding of faith in students becomes easier. The first stage involves planting the root of the faith, namely monotheism (tauhid). After the creed of tauhid is firmly planted, after that it is continued with the cultivation of other pillars of faith. Faith education is declared successful if a person has the characteristics of a believer, namely khusyu’ in prayer, abstaining from useless deeds, purifying the soul with zakat, guarding genitals, keeping mandates and promises and always carrying out prayer rituals.

Abstract

This study aims to find out and describe the optimization of the application of authentic assessment and the factors that influence the application of authentic assessment in learning English in Al-Izhar Junior High School, Pekanbaru. The research method used in this research is a qualitative method with an inductive descriptive approach. With the method of data collection using observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study are in optimizing the application of authentic English learning assessment in Al-Izhar SMP-IT Pekanbaru City, researchers conclude that the English language teacher at Al-Izhar Pekanbaru IT Middle School has conducted an authentic assessment and needs to be improved again because there are still indicators that have not been implemented. The researcher's findings are that the teacher has: 1) measured all aspects of learning, namely performance and results or products, 2) conducted an assessment during the learning process until learning was completed, 3) used a verbal and written assessment in the form of vocabulary pronunciation and mastery of students' English vocabulary and writing, 4) using oral exams and written tests and not just based on tests, 5) giving assignments that reflect daily life and recounting experiences or activities on a daily basis, 6) emphasizing product quality or performance rather than single answers, 7) conduct in-depth assessments, 8) focus on developing students 'English proficiency, 9) develop mastery of learning material, 10) subject teachers in assessing students' emphasis on listening practice, listening skills, speaking , reading (reading) reading ) and writing ( writing ); and 11) instruments in the form of tests and non-tests. There are supporting factors and inhibiting factors, research findings on supporting factors in SMP-IT. Al-Izhar Pekanbaru City, namely: (1) the competency of the teacher, (2) the readiness of the students, (3) the principal's leadership pattern, (4) the realization of a conducive learning environment, and (5) the existence of extra-curricular activities. The inhibiting factors encountered by English subject teachers in applying authentic assessment are: a) the lack of socialization about the 2013 curriculum, because authentic assessment is basically a necessity in the 2013 curriculum; b) the assessment of attitudes in English subjects does not cover the whole assessment of attitudes that are not like the subjects of citizenship education and Islamic Religious Education.

Abstract

This study aims to see whether there is an influence of the application of scientific approach and power point based learning on student learning activities in State Junior High Schools in Sukajadi District, Pekanbaru City. The sample in this study was taken by proportionate random sampling technique with 10% of the total pollution that is 226 people. Technique of analysis using multiple regression analysis. The results of this study indicate the value of R2 (coefficient of determination) or r square of 0.796 or 79.6%. This value can be interpreted that the change in student learning activeness by changing the value of the independent variable applying the scientific approach and power point based learning is 79.6% while 20.4% is determined by changes in other factors that are not present in the model. T value for the variable of applying the scientific approach is 3.023 with sig. 0.003 less than 0.05 this means that there is an effect of the application of the scientific approach to student learning activeness and t for the teacher performance variable is 25,581 with sig. 0,000 is less than 0.05 which means there is an effect of power point-based learning on student learning activeness.

Abstract

Character education in Indonesia has now become the concern of every group, this is due to the many deteriorating characters that occur in Indonesian society, such as corruption, law, theft and so on. Indonesia is not a country that lacks character education figures. In the 19th century, many Indonesians became big and influential scholars in the cities of Mecca and Medina, one of which was Sheikh Muhammad Nawawi al-Bantani al-Jawi. He has hundreds of students, and wrote 155 works in the form of bald Arabic (yellow book) which until now are scattered throughout Indonesia. This study aims to determine the concept, type and relevance of character education according to Sheikh Muhammad Nawawi al-Bantani in the Maraqi al-‘Ubudiyah book. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive approach with discourse analysis and data analysis in steps: first determining the theme, second arranging the problem, third formulating the problem according to the theme, fourth collecting data, and fifth concluding. The concept of religious character education according to Sheikh Nawawi has two concepts, the first is to worship both morals and behavior. The religious characters contained in the book Maraqi al-‘Ubudiyah are: adab associating with God, the behavior of righteous people, santri behavior to teachers, adab children to parents, adab to friends, emotion, gratitude, humility, glorifying God's creatures, Character education according to Syekh Nawawi is still relevant if applied to education in Indonesia.
