Abstract

The increasing market for the cosmetics industry brings hope for the development of the skincare industry Indonesia, one of which is Scarlett. This type of research uses descriptive research with a quantitative approach. The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of Live Streaming and Brand Ambassadors on Brand Awareness and its impact on Generation Z Scarlett Skincare Purchase Interest in Semarang City. The data analysis technique used is IBM SPSS AMOS 24 Graphics software. The results of this research show that Live Streaming has a significant effect on Brand Awareness, Brand Ambassador has a significant effect on Brand Awareness, Live Streaming has no significant effect on Purchase Interest, Brand Ambassador has no significant effect on Purchase Interest, and Brand Awareness has a significant effect on Purchase Interest.

Abstract

This study builds on a growing body of research on the territorial taxation of foreign talents with specific skills or expertise by analyzing the compatibility with the immigration policy in Indonesia. It is claimed that both the Golden Visa and Temporary Tax Resident policies will attract skilled foreign workers and foreign investments in Indonesia. However, irrespective of the increase of foreign professional roles over the last 2 (two) years, the study found that combining both policies is yet to be optimum to increase the ease of doing business in Indonesia. This study employs a qualitative approach by examining relevant laws, regulations, published literature, and media articles; and running comparative studies with temporary resident policies in Australia, Japan, and Singapore. In finding the semi-worldwide Income Tax system as relevant to Indonesia and some recommendations to establish harmony between the immigration and tax policies, the study contributes to developing more consistent and competitive residency policies in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the effect of Trade Openness, Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), and Inflation on the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) in Riau Province 2003-2022. The analytical method employed is multiple linear regression analysis, specifically the Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) method, using E-Views 12 software. The simultaneous analysis results show that the variables Trade Openness, Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) and Inflation collectively have a significant impact on the GDP in Riau Province 2003-2022. Meanwhile, the partial analysis indicates that the variables Trade Openness, Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) have a positive effect and inflation has a negative effect on the GRDP in Riau Province.

Abstract

This study examines the relationship between intangible assets and firm value moderated by the role of managerial ability. The study used 498 companies from 2012 to 2022 on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Data was processed using unbalanced panel regression, using Eviews application version 13. The study's results stated that intangible assets have a negative relationship with firm value. Second, managerial ability can positively moderate the relationship between intangible assets and firm value. When managers are able to provide communication and provide good management of intangible assets, it will provide positive value and will be able to increase the contribution of company value. This research implies that the role of managers in managing intangible assets is very important to achieve company value. These results also provide reinforcing evidence on RBV theory that managerial ability is a unique resource capable of creating value and providing a competitive advantagethis purpose.

Abstract

Inflation is an increase in the price of an item that occurs continuously. This study aims to determine the effect of money supply and interest rates on inflation in Indonesia for the period 2016-2022. The type of data in this study is secondary data obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics. Based on the results of hypothesis testing with the Multiple linear Regression Model shows that the money supply variable has a positive and insignificant effect on the inflation rate in Indonesia, while the interest rate variable has a positive and significant effect on inflation as indicated by a probability value of 0.0046 smaller than alpha 0.005. Related to the results of this can be due to the policies and strategies implemented by the government the government is still in a less effective condition to suppress existing inflation, so the government should be more relevant in making policies so that inflation does not continue to decline and even become a deficit that has an impact on economic stability in Indonesia. Therefore, the government needs to implement monetary policy carefully so that the economy in Indonesia is stable.Keywords:  Inflation, Money Supply, Interest Rate

Abstract

This study aims to further investigate the purchase intention of social media users. The research explores the impact of social presence, psychological distance, trust, engagement, social media marketing, electronic word of mouth, and brand equity on purchase intention. Engagement functions as a mediator, while brand equity plays a moderating role in the relationships studied. Research data was gathered through the distribution of questionnaires to 290 respondents and processed using the SmartPLS 3.0 program.  The findings indicate that trust, engagement, electronic word of mouth (e-WOM), and brand equity have a significant impact on purchase intention. However, no influence was observed from social presence, psychological distance, and social media marketing. Additionally, the study revealed that there is no mediating effect through engagement, and the moderating effect of brand equity is less than 5%.

Abstract

Exports are an important part of international trade because they can make a very significant contribution to the economy of Riau Province. There are differences in the export value obtained by Riau Province based on the export destination country. The aim of this research is to analyze the influence of economic distance, population, GDP, REER and FDI of the destination country on the export value of Riau Province. The data used is panel data starting from 2011-2021 with a cross section of the main export destination countries, namely Japan, China, India, South Korea, Malaysia, the United States, the Netherlands. The analytical method used is the gravity model approach with random effect model techniques using Eviews 12 software. Analysis results: the economic distance and REER variables have a negative and significant effect on the export value of Riau Province while the population, GDP and FDI variables have a positive and significant effect on the export value of Riau Province. The suggestion is that government policy should be able to encourage the growth of foreign direct investment, and BI should also pay attention to policies regarding the rupiah exchange rate and then for future researchers to also carry out research on various superior commodities and other variables .

Abstract

Purchase decision is a process where when consumers choose a product, consumers often consider various things. Smartphones are products that are loaded with technology that is dynamic in its development and requires manufacturers to understand consumer behavior in making purchases. This study aims to analyze whether partially and simultaneously perception of price, brand image and product quality affect purchasing decisions with the product used is a Samsung smartphone. Type of research is quantitative,  population is the people of the city of Depok, West Java, who have or are currently using a Samsung smartphone. Sampling using non-probability sampling with purposive sampling technique. Data collection using an online questionnaire instrument, and can be collected 207 respondents on October 2023. The data analysis phase is the validity, reliability, and classical assumption test. The data analysis technique used multiple linear regression, coefficient of determination and hypothesis testing with SPSS. The partial results showed that all variables had a significant positive effect on purchasing decisions, with the greatest influence on Brand Image and Product Quality.  Simultaneously all variables are able to have a direct influence on purchasing decisions, the closeness of the influence of the independent variables on the dependent variable simultaneously can be said strong because  reaches about 70 percent, while the rest can  influenced by other factors outside the study.

Abstract

The increasingly advanced development of digital technology has become part of people's lifestyle and needs in everyday life. This has an impact on increasing the need to use internet data packages. The purpose of this research is to determine the development of increasing cellular operators in Indonesia, to analyze factors changing consumer behavior in using Internet data packages, and to determine the development of internet technology on the revenue of internet data card traders. This research uses descriptive analysis with an approach using qualitative and quantitative methods (primary data), using dependent variables, namely: cultural, social, personal and psychological. The results of research conducted by researchers state that the development of internet technology has had a big influence on increasing sales of internet data cards and package prices (HP) have a positive and significant effect on the revenue of internet package card traders with the hypothesis being accepted but with the variable number of package quotas (JKP) and length of active period (LMA) has a positive effect but is not significant, so the hypothesis is rejected..Keywords: Digital Technology, Internet, Culture, Social

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan strategi bisnis pada startup D'Cetak, sebuah layanan percetakan yang ditujukan untuk mahasiswa dan organisasi kemahasiswaan di sekitar Telkom University. Pendekatan metodologi penelitian yang diterapkan adalah deskriptif kualitatif, yaitu melibatkan wawancara mendalam, penelitian langsung, dan observasi untuk memahami kebutuhan dan harapan pelanggan, sekaligus mendeskripsikan konteks percetakan di lingkungan kampus. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas narasumber terlibat aktif dalam organisasi kemahasiswaan.       Dari hasil wawancara terungkap bahwa mahasiswa menginginkan proses pencetakan yang mudah dengan harga yang terjangkau, kualitas cetak yang tinggi, dan pelayanan yang efisien. Dalam struktur Business Model Canvas D'Cetak ditekankan pada value proposition yang meliputi kemudahan proses pencetakan, harga bersaing, dan kualitas cetak optimal. Melalui penerapan metode Business Model Canvas, peneliti merancang strategi bisnis yang berfokus pada pelayanan yang baik dengan harga yang lebih terjangkau dan proses yang lebih mudah. Strategi ini diharapkan dapat lebih memenuhi kebutuhan pasar dan meningkatkan tingkat kepuasan pelanggan terhadap jasa percetakan yang diberikan D'Cetak.
