Abstract

This study aims to reveal the students' language error. The purpose of this study is focused on the description language errors contained in the writings of students and classify them by category of linguistics. To achieve these objectives conducted qualitative research with the steps: collecting data of students' language error and perform error analysis. The subjects were elementary school students in Lamongan. Data collection techniques used in the tests, refer to the technique, and technique noted. The result of the research indicates spelling errors in the form of (1) basic word writing, (2) vowel breathing on the base word, (3) expression and appearance / h /, (4) capital letter usage in name, (5) the capital letters at the beginning and middle of the sentence and the middle of the word, (6) prefix di- writing, (7) preposition writing, (8) abbreviation writing, (9) the writing of hyphens on the repeat word, and (10) the use of exclamation marks and question marks.

Abstract

The purpose of research are to describe on responding discourse of the child that given by their parents. With the result of t the research, parent can understand how to use imperative sentence to their child well. This research uses describtive qualitative method, explain the act of childhood for positive and negative imperative sentence by parents. Data of this research is responding action of childhood, the source of data take form research object with four child, consist: 1 to 4 year old. This research use technique observation, filed data, and documentation. Childhood responses positive imperative sentences that explained by their parents then they can response like their parents mean. Where as with negative imperative sentences they can also response well. So, base on this research data, parents must more careful in using imperative sentences to their child. Their child mus be given positive value in building their character.

Abstract

The objectives of this research are : (1) to know the kindergarten teachers’ competence in writing, and (2) to know the kindergarten teachers’ productive language errors.The data collection is done by using writing and speaking techniques. The data analysis is done using interactive model suggested by Miles and Huberman, that consists of : (1) data reduction, (2) data display and (3) conclusion drawing.The results of the research show that there is a lot of problem in teeachers’ language competence. In writing there are some errors made by the teachers. The errors consists of (1) the errors in using punctuation, (2) the writing of prefixes, (3) the wrong writing of preposition, (4) the double use of copula, (5) the wrong writing of words, (6) false reasoning’s, (7) the wrong writing of conjunction, and (8) interference.

Abstract

Language is a language that secret transvestite and typical but they can also be called a community language although the existence of transvestites are always underestimated. Relating to the existence of a distinct language, this study was conducted to objectively describe the rules of word formation transvestites, transsexuals and said berimbuhan language acronym transvestites. Based on research that has been done found the following things. Rules of word formation transgender language is always changing but the rule could still be described is to keep taking one syllable to the original word and add sound- ong, -ece, -se, -es, -ika, -ra, and –ung on the last syllabe wich has been omitted. In addition to replacing the second syllable with a particle as above, the transvestites also created a language by adding sound in front of the home such as affixes-S1. To rule formation transvisitites acronym they use them by combining multiple patterns be some letters, combining syllable of two words, and combine the word of three or more words.

Abstract

This study was conducted with the aim to describe (1) the activity of teachers in improving the ability of knowledge about the intrinsic elements of short stories, (2) the activity of student, (3) the results of student learning, and (4) response class IX students odd semester MTs Irsyadul Athfal District of Benjeng District Gresik 2011/2012 school year to learning to write short stories with a contextual approach through technical news photos. The method used in this research is qualitative and quantitative research methods. The results showed two things. First, increase the ability of students to write short stories showed a high intensity and good. Second, the students respond well to the implementation of learning with contextual approach through technical news photos.

Abstract

The purpose of the study were to describe (1) the types of conjunction intra-sentence, (2) the types of conjunction extra-sentence, (3) the students’ ability in describing the function of conjuction in intra-sentence, and (4) the students’ ability in describing the function of conjunction in extra-sentence of naration text at the eighth graders H of the first state Madrasah Tsanawiyah Bojonegoro. The study was descriptive qualitative research. The data analysis technique used was interactive model from Milles and Huberman. The interactive model consisted of data reduction, data representation, and conclusion. The result showed that in the narration text of the students there are intra-sentence conjuntion and extra-sentence conjunction. The conjunction of intra-sentence included agar, biarpun karena, walaupun sambil, kalaupun, seolah-olah, gara-gara, tapi, selain meskipun sehingga, lalu, selain, kendatipun, jika, ketika, asalkan, seandainya. The conjunction of extra-sentence included oleh karena itu,bahkan, meskipun demikian, sekalipun begitu. The function of conjunction were hope, contrary, cause, requirements, purpose, comparison, time, addition, sequence, effect, supposition.

It is used to find many informations and datas from novel texts. Abstract

The purpose of this study were (1) Describe the factors that background Indonesian interference in the use of English writing discourse of SMPN I Tikung student, (2) Describe the factors that background Indonesian interference in the use of English language written discourse SMPN I Tikung, (3) Describe the effect of Indonesian interference in the use of English writing discourse students of SMPN I Tikung, and (4) Describe efforts to address the events of Indonesian interference in the use of English language written discourse students of SMPN I Tikung.The research method used is descriptive qualitative research. Data captured through student discourse test and interview students and teachers. Source of data used in discourse writing in English is the student, and interviews are students and teachers of SMPN 1 Tikung at the time of the learning process. Collection techniques using student language identification sheet instruments. while the collection technique using interview questions instrument sheet students and teachers.Based on the results of the study, (1) interference caused by two factors: linguistic and non-linguistic factors. (2) forms of interference syntactic occur include, the use of a noun phrase consists usage noun phrase followed by a noun, and a noun followed by an adjective, the use of possessive pronouns, use the relationship numeralia, the use of adjectives, the use of adverbs of time, the use of information pointing place, the use of adverbs, the use of conjunctions expressing the relation of meaning way, the use of adverbs that indicate quality, and the use of the phrase, (3) the effect of Indonesian interference into English discourse writing students is due to the use of a relatively dominant Indonesian English language learning. and (4) the effort which is taken to avoid interference Indonesian into English discourse writing students the cooperation and efforts to earn good students, teachers, and schools in the form of intra-curricular and extracurricular.

Abstract

The purpose of this study to describe about (1) lexical interference Java language into Indonesia, (2) phrase interfence Java language into Indonesia, (3) clause interference Java language into Indonesia in Aula magazine. This study take the data from Aula magazine because it’s a magazine for Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) society, 2011-2012. The kind of this research is analysis text. The data that found then analyze using descriptive quantitative method.The data analysisin this research use interactive analysis method/form. And continue until finish, so the data bored. The data selectede, next clasified based on lexical, phrase, and clause interference.The result of this research got the description such as: (1) there is lexical interference Java language into Indonesia very much, (2) ) there is phrase interference Java language into Indonesia, (3) ) there is clause interference Java language into Indonesia in Aula magazine. Thus, the interference occur in lexical, phrase and clause.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the general purpose of research to obtain a description of cohesion and coherence about propoganda discourse on television. The general objective is translated into the following specific objectives, namely: (1) to describe the discourse cohesion pf propoganda on television. (2) to describe the discourse coherence of propoganda on television. Data collected by the method of observation, recording, and noting. The marker of cohence between sentences that often arises is the reference and conjuncition, while the marker substitution, ellipsis, antonyms, synonyms, collacation is rarely. The marker of effective cohesion of propoganda on television discourse is the marker reference and conjunction.
