Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of attitude on the subjects of chemistry and self-concept to chemistry learning achievement. Survey research samples totaled 75 students of class X from Private Senior High Sub-district of Cilandak South Jakarta. The data was collected by administering questionnaires and achievement tests to carry out the study. The results showed by the regression equation Y=-12.983 + 0.300 SK + 0.390 KD. Variable attitude on the subjects of chemistry and self-concept of students together to have a significant influence on learning achievement of students, this is indicated by the coefficient determination R2= 0.777 with Fvalue test =125,400 greater than Ftable=3,12. While testing the regression coefficient on the variable attitude o the subject of chemistry t-test = 6,288 and testing the regression coefficients on the self-concept obtained by calculating the t-test=5,397, both are more than t-table=1,993.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of strategies learning and motivation in learning of mathematics learning outcomes.. The research method used is an experimental method using the technique “factor analysis” with “Two Way Anova. The research is an experiment conducted in SMK BASKARA at class X with 40 students. The results of the analysis studies suggest that: 1) There is influence the learning strategies of mathematics learning outcomes, 2) There is influence motivation in learning of mathematics learning outcomes, 3) there is interaction between learning strategies and motivation in learning of mathematics learning outcomes.

Abstract

Education is the most important thing for every country to moving forward. Great country will put education as its first priority, because with education, the poverty of the people in the nation will change become prosperity. However, in the progress, education in Indonesia has to face several problems in every phase. Those problems only can solve with participations from all that contributors in education system, such as parent, teachers, headmasters, societies, and also the student themselves. In input phase, parent have big contribute to introduce good values to their children. Parent have big responsible to educate their kids with leadership values, so that they have enough preparation to become a early birth leader when they get into formal institution, which is school. In process phase, the parent with headmaster and teachers, together reinforce the student to live commonly with good values of leadership through organization culture in the school. Finally, in output phase, the student have to face so many challenge in reality world. The student that already passed previous phase with good values will grow become a great leader for this country.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the improvement of critical thinking skills Improve mathematical methods to the material system of linear equations of two variables. The method used is the method of quasi-experimental data analysis using different test or the average of the t-test. Population affordable in this study were all students of class VIII A and VIII B grade SMP 248. Samples were obtained through random sampling techniques, namely random sample collection techniques. Testing requirements analysis consists of data from test to test methods Liliefors normality and homogeneity tests to test methods bartlett. Based on the results of the testing requirements of data analysis concluded that the two sets of data were normally distributed and homogeneous. Instrument variable mathematical critical thinking skills is a written test consisting of 20 items about. Based on the results of hypothesis testing and data analysis it can be concluded that the critical thinking skills of students who are taught mathematical improve method is higher than conventional methods. Based on these results, it is in an effort to improve students' critical thinking skills teachers should use mathematical methods improve.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah 1) untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa dalam pengamatan charta organ tubuh manusia khususnya organ pencernaan. 2) Untuk mengetahui apakah penggunaan media pembelajaran charta dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas sebanyak tiga siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahap yaitu planning (rencana), action (tindakan), observation (pengamatan) dan reflection (refleksi). Sasaran penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII-3 di SMP Negeri 270 Jakarta Utara. Data yang diperoleh berupa hasil uji kompetensi dan lembar observasi siswa dan guru selama kegiatan belajar mengajar. Hasil analisis didapatkan bahwa hasil belajar IPA siswa mengalami peningkatan yang ditunjukkan dengan meningkatnya ketuntasan belajar siswa dari 40,% pada siklus I, menjadi 70,0 pada siklus II dan menjadi 86,7% pada siklus III. Selain itu terdapat peningkatan rata-rata nilai test kompetensi siswa dari 62,3 pada siklus I menjadi 73,2 pada siklus II dan menjadi 79,7 pada siklus II. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran Charta mampu meningkatkan pemahaman siswa dalam pengamatan charta organ tubuh manusia khususnya organ pencernaan. Selain itu pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran Charta memiliki dampak positif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas VIII-3 di SMP Negeri 270 Jakarta Utara.

Abstract

Sekolah Dasar (SD) merupakan jenjang dasar dalam pendidikan formal, banyak hal yang peserta didik dapatkan dari jenjang SD. Hal ini dikarenakan SD merupakan langkah awal dalam melangkah ke jenjang selanjutnya. Matematika yang diajarkan di SD akan lebih bermakna dan berguna saat peserta didik duduk di bangku sekolah lanjutan, oleh karena itu diperlukan media dalam menyampaikan materi agar konsep tentang materi yang diajarkan dapat terserap dengan baik. Salah satu media yang diharapkan dapat membantu siswa paham akan konsep matematika adalah media ICT. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh dan efektivitas dari penggunaan media ICT terhadap pemahaman konsep matematika bagi peserta didik SDN. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen dengan mengambil sampel sebanyak 4 (empat) SDN dari 29 SDN yang ada. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan menggunakan software SPSS 13.0 for windows pada taraf signifikansi 0,05. Penelitian ini menghasilkan dua kesimpulan utama, yaitu ; pertama, terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara penggunaan media ICT terhadap pemahaman konsep matematika karena didapatkan nilai thitung sebesar 1,967 lebih besar dari ttabel yaitu 1,960 dengan Sig. 0,794 > ? (0,05); kedua, media ICT efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematika peserta didik karena didapatkan nilai effect size sebesar 0,328.

Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the influence of creative thinking on the subject of mathematics learning achievement. The benefit of this study is to provide information of what the impact of creative thinking on mathematics learning achievement. The method used in this study is a survey method correlation with regression analysis. The population is class IX SMP At-Taqwa. Samples were 30 taken by purposive sampling technique. Instruments to collect data on the study of creativity in the form of a test that consists of 7 items and instruments question multiple-choice test consisting of 20 items about. From the alculations, the magnitude of the correlation coefficient or rhitung was 0.37 and the 5% significance level of 0.361 it can be seen that the price rhitung> rtabel means there is a significant correlation between creative thinking mathematics learning achievement. From the calculation of the level test hypotheses derived Fhitung = 4.45 by looking at the tables on the distribution F with the real level of 5% or ? = 5% was obtained Ftable = 4.20 in order to obtain that Fhitung ? F table. This concluded that there are positive effects of creative thinking mathematics learning achievement.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the method of learning the physics student learning outcomes, to determine the effect of the level of formal reasoning students' physics student learning outcomes, and to determine the effect of the interaction methods of learning and level of formal reasoning. The method used is the method exsperimen. Samples were taken by 30 students to 15 students in the control class and 15 students of class exsperimen, and simple random technique. The data was collected by distributing directly to the sample test. Data analysis using descriptive statistics such as finding the mean, median, mode, standard deviation, and inferential statistics is to find the coefficients. The results showed: 1) a positive effect on learning outcomes approach to learning physics students with Fcount (43.199)> F table (4.02). 2) There was a positive influence on students' level of formal reasoning physics student learning outcomes Fcount (10.746)> TTable (4.02). 3). The interaction method of learning with students' level of formal reasoning with the Fcount (8694)> F table (4.02). 4) There is an average difference between the learning outcomes approach to learning (inquery and conventional) with t0 = 5.585 and sig = 0.000 <0.05. 5) There is an average difference between the levels of learning outcomes of formal reasoning (High and Low) with t0 = 2.291 and sig = 0.026 <0.05.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify the effects of virtual laboratory-assisted learning model and learning interest in the students creative thinking abilities of chemistry. The study design was 2 x 2 factorial design with three variables consisting of two independent variables and one dependent variable. To obtain research data used in the form of the test instrument the creative thinking abilities of chemistry and scale of student interest. The population in this study were all senior high school students Pasar Minggu District XI Class South Jakarta in the study sample two classes from two schools were equal. The results showed that: 1) There is the influence of Virtual Lab assisted learning model of creative thinking abilities of chemistry. 2) There is interest in studying the influence of creative thinking abilities of chemistry. 3) There is an interaction effect between learning model assisted Virtual Lab an interest in learning to creative thinking abilities of chemistry. From the research it needs further testing with the t test, which indicates that two group has an influence on the creative thinking abilities of chemistry.
