Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of Emotional Question and interest in learning towards mastery of mathematical concepts. The hypothesis of this study include: (1) there is a direct effect of emotional question to mastery of mathematical concepts; (2) there is a direct effect of emotional question to interest in learning math; (3) there is a direct effect of interest in learning math to mastery of mathematical concepts; (4) there is an indirect effect of emotional question toward mastery of mathematical concepts through interest in learning mathematical. The method used in this study is a survey method with data analysis using path analysis. Affordable population are students of class x1 school year 2013/2014 public senior high school in Kebon Jeruk, west Jakarta. Sample size is 70 student with the sampling technique used is random sampling taken from 2 public school. Research instrument used is questioner and test of mastery of mathematical concepts. Retrieved hypothesis testing results the following conclutions. Hypothesis testing results show that: (1) there is a direct effect of emotional question to mastery of mathematical concepts; (2) there is a direct effect of emotional question to interest in learning math; (3) there is a direct effect of interest in learning math to mastery of mathematical concepts; (4) there is an indirect effect of emotional question toward mastery of mathematical concepts through interest in learning mathematical. Abstract

The objective of the study was to know the effects of formative assessment intensity toward Calculus learning outcomes with controlling university students’ prior capacity. Research using experimental methods, and can be concluded from the finding, that with controlling university students’ prior capacity, the group was given formative assessment each subject matter got higher score on Calculus learning outcomes than the group was given conventional formative assessment. The result showed that there was formative assessment intensity has effect toward Calculus learning outcomes with controlling university students’ prior capacity. To improve the quality of Calculus learning outcomes, the lecturers were supposed to evaluate the university stuents’ the better using formative assessment intensity each subject matter.

Abstract

This causal research is aimed at obtaining information related to the possibility that the teachers’ job satisfaction of the government vocational schooll in North of Jakarta is effected by leadership style, work environment, and teachers’ work motivation. Research has been implemented using path analysis after all variables put into a matrix of correlation. In this research, teachers has been chosen as a unit analysis and 100 samples selected randomly. The results of analysis finds out that: 1) the teachers’ work motivation is affected directly by leadership style; 2) ) the teachers’ work motivation is affected directly by work environment; 3) the teachers’ job satisfaction is affected directly by leadership style; 4) the teachers’ job satisfaction is affected directly by work environment;5) the teachers’ job satisfaction is affected directly by the teachers’ work motivation; 6) the teachers’ job satisfaction is affected indirectly by leadership style; and 7) the teachers’ job satisfaction is affected indirectly by work environment. Therefore, the leadership style, work environment, and teachers’ work motivation should be put into account of human resources development in managing the teachers’ job satisfaction at The Education Office of DKI Jakarta Province.

Abstract

The purpose of this study to determine the effect of learning methods on the mastery of the concept of science. To know the influence of student's learning interest to mastery of science concept. To know the influence of interactive learning method and student's interest in the mastery of science concept. The research method used was a Quasi-experimental method with the Quantitative approach. The research was conducted in Mts Negeri 1 South Jakarta and Mts N 23 South Jakarta in the academic year 2016/2017. The sample in this study amounted to 70 students with random sampling. Hypothesis testing with 2 way ANOVA. The result of the research shows that there is a significant influence on the use of learning media to the learning outcomes of science, there is a significant influence of learning interest on the learning outcomes of science, there is a non-significant influence of the interaction of learning methods and the interest of learning on the science learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research is aimed at obtaining information related to the affect of the leadership style, organizational culture, and employees’ trust on organizational commitment. Research has been implemented using path analysis after all variables put into a matrix of correlation. In this research, employees had been chosen as a unit analysis and 65 samples selected randomly. The results of research found out that: (1) there is direct affect of leadership style on employees’ trust; (2) there is direct affect of organizational culture on employees’ trust; (3) there is direct affect of leadership style on organizational commitment; (4) there is direct affect of organizational culture on organizational commitment; and (5) there is direct affect of employees’ trust on organizational commitment. Based on those findings it could be concluded that any changing or variation which occurred to the organizational commitment of Basic Education Office in West Jakarta had been effected by leadership style, organizational culture, and trust to employees. Therefore, leadership style, organizational culture, and employees’ trust should be put into strategic planning of human resources development in increasing the organizational commitment of Basic Education Office in West Jakarta, however other variables are necessary to be taken into account properly.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to obtain empirical data on the influence of using learning generative model towards problem solving outcomes. This research used the experiment method at SMA Negeri 1 Dukupuntang, Kabupaten Cirebon. In this research was done by taking two classes; experiment class and control class, experiment class consists of 39 students and control class consists of 40 students. The instrument that is used in this research is test with using essay questions which have been validated empirically. Data analysis used in this research is ???? test. The result of this research is there is significant influence between using of learning generative model towards problem solving outcomes at SMA Negeri 1 Dukupuntang, Kabupaten Cirebon.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of constructivism based learning using media animation with TPCK framework and learning styles on student achievement. This study used an experimental method with a true experimental design. The population of this research is all class XI student of SMK 1 Dedai the academic year 2014/2015 Prodi computer technology and a network of four classes. Samples were taken from a population of 2 classes. Data collection techniques used in this study is the test method to measure student achievement, to measure learning style questionnaire and observation sheet as to measure learning outcomes affective and psychomotor student. The results showed; 1) learning style profiles of class XI student of SMK 1 Dedai; 2) there is influence of constructivism based learning using animation media on student achievement, (3) there is no influence of learning styles on student achievement, (4) there is the influence of animation media usage and learning styles on student achievement. Keyword: Constructivism, TPCK, Animation Learning, Learning Style.

Abstract

This research aim to to know factors causing student procrastinate in solving of theses/final duty. Research location in University of Indraprasta PGRI Jakarta. Time Research executed in June - August 2011. Research Sampel counted 80 student of Education of Mathematics Program which is finishing theses. Method which is used in this research is method of survey with technique of deksirptif. Technique analyse used data cover; factor analysis and analysis of hirerarchi process (AHP). Result of factor analysis conclude that there is 3 dominant factor which cause postponement of student in finishing of skripsi; 1) 83.8 % student less is comprehending is way of making of theses, 2) 82.6 % student less is comprehending of eye of study research method, 3) 76.3 % student less is comprehending of eye of studi pre seminar of theses.

Abstract

The purpose of this study to determine the effect of self-concept and interest in learning the mastery of science concepts. The instrument used in this study is a questionnaire self-concept and interest in learning while measuring mastery of concepts based on the test of IPA. Analysis of the test data used is Multiple Regression. Results of analysis of research data to prove that: (1) there is significant influence self-concept and interest in learning together toward mastery of science concepts, this is evidenced by the value of F = 10.803> Ftabel and the Sig = 0.000 <0.05; (2) there is a significant influence on the concept of self-mastery of the concept of science, it is shown from the results of calculations which show the value t = 3,471 and sig = 0,001, lower than 0.05. (3) Interest in learning gives positive and significant impact on the mastery of science concepts. This is shown from the results of calculations which show the value t = 2.620 and sig = 0,010, lower than 0.05. Although when compared to the self-concept, interest in learning the value of sig is larger. So the concept of self is a major influence on the mastery of science concepts of the interest in learning.

Abstract

This research aimed to determine the effect of competencies, compensation, and background on the performance of elementary school mathematics teacher at DKI Jakarta, Banten and West Java. Research method used was a survey with a sample of 203 respondents. Sampling technique using multi-stage random sampling. Collecting data using questionnaires that have been validated by a team of experts. Data analysis using path analysis. The results of the data analysis results: 1) In total competence of teachers has an impact on 42.55% increase in teacher performance, 2) Background of teachers in total have an impact of 2.35% on improved teacher performance, 3) Together teacher competencies and background of 44.9% effect on the performance of lementary school math teacher.
