Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the Two Stay Two Stray learning model on cognitive learning outcomes for the Diversity of Living Things and Their Conservation Efforts. The research was conducted by using a quasi-experimental method on seventh grade students of SMPN in Serang Regency, Banten Province. The research data were analyzed using statistics of descriptive and t-test inferential. The results showed that the cognitive learning outcomes who were taught using conventional learning models had an average score of 71.7; while for students who used the Two Stay Two Stray learning model obtained an average score of 78.8. The results of inferential analysis obtained t-count = 3.694 higher than t-table = 1.729 so that it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of the Two Stay Two Stray learning model on the cognitive learning outcomes of the Diversity of Living Things and Their Conservation Efforts. In order to improve student cognitive learning outcomes, teachers should use the Two Stay Two Stray model in the learning process in the classroom.

Abstract

The objective of the study was to know the effects of interaction between formative assessment frequency and learning independence toward Calculus learning outcomes with controlling university students’ prior capacity. Research using experimental methods with 2 x 2 treatment by level design, and can be concluded from the finding, that with controlling university students’ prior capacity: (1) the group with high learning independence and was given formative assessment each subject matter got lower score on calculus learning outcomes than the group was given conventional formative assessment, (2) the group with low learning independence and was given formative assessment each subject matter got higher score calculus learning outcomes than the group was given conventional formative assessment, (3) the group was given formative assessment each subject matter and have high learning independence got lower score calculus learning outcomes than the have low learning independence, and (4) the group was given conventional formative assessment and have high learning independence got higher score calculus learning outcomes than the low learning independence. The result showed that there was interaction between formative assessment frequency and and learning independence toward Calculus learning outcomes with controlling university students’ prior capacity. To improve the quality of Calculus learning outcomes, the lecturers were supposed to evaluate the university stuents’ using formative assessment variously. It must be matched with level of the learning independence of university students’.

Abstract

The study aims to determine the differences in field-independent cognitive styles with a dependent on students' mathematical problem solving abilities. This researcher uses a quantitative approach with a correlational survey method with factual exposure research types. The study population was the seventh grade students of Madrasah Tsanawiyah in Lombok Timur, amounting to 680. The sampling used was simple random sampling technique. The sampling technique uses percentage techniques. From a population of 680 people taken 10%, so the number of samples in this study was 68 people. The hypothesis analysis test used the t test with SPSS 22. The results showed that there was a difference between students' mathematical problem solving abilities in the group of students who had a field independent cognitive style and a group of students who had a field dependent cognitive style. the principal in recruiting students to enter the Madrasah Tsnawiyah, not only the value of the results of the National Primary School exam but rather the grouping of students based on independent and field dependent cognitive field styles

Abstract

Penelitian ini beranjak dari fenomena yang terjadi di kelas bahwa rendahnya pemahaman dan hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran Matematika tentang logika matematika. Oleh karena itu seorang guru perlu mempertimbangkan strategi pembelajaran sehingga dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) Untuk mengetahui metode sosiodrama dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran Matematika tentang logika Matematika di Kelas XI IPA 3 SMAN 34 Pondok Labu Jakarta semester 1 tahun pelajaran 2021/2022. (2) Untuk menggambarkan proses peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran Matematika tentang logika Matematika di Kelas XI IPA 3 SMAN 34 Pondok Labu Jakarta semester 1 tahun pelajaran 2021/2022. (3) Untuk mengukur besarnya peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran Matematika tentang logika Matematika setelah menggunakan Metode sosiodrama di Kelas XI IPA 3 SMAN 34 Pondok Labu Jakarta semester 1 tahun pelajaran 2021/2022. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dengan menggunakan metode sosiodrama dapat menjadi variasi pembelajaran yang menyenangkan bagi peserta didik sehingga terbukti meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik di Kelas XI IPA 3 SMAN 34 Pondok Labu Jakarta. Sebelum menggunakan metode pemberian tugas hasil belajar peserta didik hanya mencapai nilai rata-rata 62,87 kemudian terjadi peningkatan setelah menggunakan metode pemberian tugas menjadi 71,25 pada siklus 1 dan 78,12 pada siklus 2. Dari uraian di atas peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa penggunaan metode sosiodrama menyenangkan sehingga terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik. Oleh karena itu peneliti menyarankan agar penggunaan metode sosiodrama disosialisasikan dan digunakan sebagai alternatif dalam pembelajaran mata pelajaran Matematika di sekolah-sekolah di lingkungan Dinas Pendidikan Jakarta.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur besarnya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa melalui media Microsoft powerpoint pada mata pelajaran dasar perancangan teknik mesin di Kelas X TMI 2 di SMKN 1 Tunjung Teja Kabupaten Serang Semester 1 Tahun Pelajaran 2020/2021. Metode penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan sampel sejumlah 20 siswa kelas X TMI 2 di SMKN 1 Tunjung Teja Kabupaten Serang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan secara tes uji kompetensi dan kuisioner wawancara. Hasil dan kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah hasil belajar dengan melihat presentase daya serap klasikal dan ketuntasan bealajar klasikal yang mengalami peningkatan pada mata Pelajaran dasar perancangan teknik mesin di Kelas X TMI 2 di SMKN 1 Tunjung Teja Kabupaten Serang sebelum menggunakan media Microsoft powerpoint mempunyai persentase daya serap klasikal sebesar 30% dan ketuntasan belajar klasikal sebesar 25%. Pada saat pembelajaran diubah menggunakan media Microsoft powerpoint, hasil tes tindakan siklus I diperoleh siswa yang tuntas 6 orang dan tidak tuntas 14 orang siswa dengan persentase daya serap klasikal sebesar 47% dan ketuntasan belajar klasikal mencapai 30%. Pada siklus II hasil tes tindakan, siswa yang tuntas 13 orang dan 7 orang siswa tidak tuntas dengan persentase daya serap klasikal sebesar 76% dan ketuntasan belajar klasikal sebesar 65%. Pada akhir siklus III hasil tes tindakan, siswa yang tuntas 16 orang dan 4 orang siswa tidak tuntas dengan persentase daya serap klasikal sebesar 82% dan ketuntasan belajar klasikal sebesar 80%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur besarnya peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik tentang dimensi tiga setelah menggunakan metode pemberian tugas di Kelas XII IPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Bojonggede Kabupaten Bogor Semester 1 Tahun Pelajaran 2021/2022. Metode penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan sampel sejumlah 42 siswa kelas XII IPA 1 Bojong Gede, Bogor. Pengumpulan data dilakukan secara tes uji kompetensi dan kuisioner wawancara. Hasil dan kesimpulan dari penelitian ini ialah hasil belajar mengalami peningkatan pada mata Pelajaran Matematika khususnya tentang dimensi tiga di kelas XII IPA 1 di SMA Negeri 1 Bojonggede Kabupaten Bogor sebelum menggunakan metode pemberian tugas mempunyai nilai rata-rata 60,71. Pada saat pembelajaran diubah menggunakan metode pemberian tugas, rata-rata hasil belajar peserta didik meningkat menjadi 70,36 pada siklus I dan 78,81 pada siklus II. Hal tersebut ditunjukkan dengan jumlah skor peserta didik 77 (61,11%) dalam kerjasama dengan teman, sedangkan nilai keaktifan dalam kelompok skornya 79 atau (62,69%). Kemudian peserta didik dalam aktif bertanya skornya 74 atau (58,73%). Adapun peserta didik yang mengerjakan tugas guru skornya 96 atau (76,69%), pada data mengenai aktifitas peserta didik pada siklus II menunjukkan bahwa jumlah skor peserta didik 119 (94,44%) dalam kerjasama dengan teman, sedangkan nilai keaktifan dalam kelompok skornya 117 atau (92,86%). Kemudian peserta didik dalam aktif bertanya skornya 107 atau (84,92%). Adapun peserta didik yang mengerjakan tugas guru skornya 126 atau (100%).

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kandungan unsur matematika pada permainan patok lele, permainan gundu, permainan congklak, permainan ular tangga raksasa, permainan layangan, permainan dampu bulan, dan permainan bekel. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode etnografi dengan spesifikasi etnomatematika. Pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah dengan melakukan wawancara mendalam, metode dokumenter dan metode observasi atau pengamatan. Dari hasil analisis diperoleh simpulan, penjelasannya sebagai berikut: (1) Permainan tradisional patok lele mengandung unsur satuan panjang, mengenal bangun ruang tabung, dan menghitung skor mencakup operasi penjumlahan, perkalian, pengurangan dan pembagian. (2) Permainan tradisional gundu mengandung unsur bangun ruang bola, bangun datar lingkaran, operasi pengurangan, dan membuat pola lingkaran. (3) Permainan tradisional congklak mengandung unsur operasi hitung dan urutan bilangan. (4) Permainan tradisional ular tangga raksasa mengandung unsur bilangan, operasi hitung dan peluang. (5) Permainan tradisional layangan mengandung unsur bangun datar layang-layang. (6) Permainan tardisional dampu bulan mengandung unsur membuat pola, bangun datar persegi, persegi panjang dan setengah lingkaran, dan operasi hitung. (7) Permainan tradisional bekel mengandung unsur bngun ruang bola dan operasi hitung. Unsur-unsur pada permainan tradisional tersebut dapat digunakan sebagai media edukasi pembelajaran matematika dan membuktikan bahwa matematika bisa dipelajari dengan cara menyenangkan.

Abstract

The research objective is to obtain an appropriate media and learning physics can help understanding the basic concepts in physics learning, especially for the completion of a straight motion of matter in the junior class VII. The study design used in this study is a 2x2 factorial design with three variables, namely instructional media, interest in student learning, and learning outcomes Physics. The samples obtained through the Multi Stage Sampling, each 13 person for 4 classes, so that individual large sample size of 52 students. Data analysis using ANOVA of two lines techniques, and first performed a descriptive statistical analysis and test analysis requirements. The results showed that: 1) there is the differences of learning outcomes of students who were taught physics learning media fascination with physics and conventional instructional media, 2) there is the differences of learning outcomes of students who are interested in studying physics of high and low learning interest, and 3) there is an interaction effect of learning media and interest in learning the results of learning Physics.

Abstract

There are several issues that arise related to education. Education is not the same as teaching. Education is a business that is conscious, deliberate, patterned, and can be evaluated by educators to foster and develop the potential that exists within learners. Direction of education policy at the level of the nation was held in the framework of the intellectual life of the nation that is based on faith and piety and noble character. Direction of the nation's education is aimed at producing human resources in Indonesia that have character: faithful and pious to God The Godhead, noble, healthy, knowledgeable, skilled, creative, independent, being a democratic citizen, and accountable. In the level of practice; the implementation of education has not implemented correctly in accordance with the direction of education policy. The practice at all levels; including at the level of early childhood and elementary school still more emphasis on teaching to the intellectual property in sharpening cognitive potential alone, and very little regard for moral education/character. For that, there needs to be a correction to the process of implementation of education policy to achieve quality education that produces superior human resource, righteous and noble.

Abstract

The objective of the study was to know the effects of formative assessment intensity toward Calculus learning outcomes with controlling university students’ prior capacity. Research using experimental methods, and can be concluded from the finding, that with controlling university students’ prior capacity, the group was given formative assessment each subject matter got higher score on Calculus learning outcomes than the group was given conventional formative assessment. The result showed that there was formative assessment intensity has effect toward Calculus learning outcomes with controlling university students’ prior capacity. To improve the quality of Calculus learning outcomes, the lecturers were supposed to evaluate the university stuents’ the better using formative assessment intensity each subject matter.
