Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to describe the presentation of SOEs’ financial information by presenting the Internet Financial Reporting (IFR) index. This study uses secondary data taken from the website of each SOE. This study uses a sample of all SOEs in Indonesia. The rapid development of the internet has significantly affected activities in the government, business and community, sectors. The internet has several characteristics and advantages in the overall disclosure of information, such as pervasiveness, unlimited access, timely communication, and low cost. Internet Financial Reporting (IFR) is a voluntary disclosure of financial statements through a company’s official website, in which its quality is measured using the IFR index. Law No. 14 of 2008 states that one important element regarding information disclosure is the public interest that affects the lives of many people. With this law, public companies, including State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs), must report all information related to their businesses through their websites Design/methodology/approach: The research method used is purposive sampling method with 2 observations, in November and December 2018. This study is classified as a quantitative study Findings: The results of this study indicate that there are still many SOEs that have not utilized the content, timeliness, technology used, and user support on their websites properly. Research limitations/implications: There is one sector that does not have a website, namely the sector of accommodation and food and drink providers. Abstract

Purpose: This paper discusses the impact of COVID-19 on the Visual Arts industry in Malaysia. In general, this pandemic has affected various forms of artistic activities and the income of visual arts artists and galleries. The cancellation of art projects and exhibitions has greatly affected the artist's source of income as well as disrupted the sale of works and forms of art appreciation. The crisis has also opened up a new form to the visual arts industry by looking at alternative approaches to the continuity of the arts field by switching to virtual or online methods. This emerging crisis of COVID-19 might be the starting point for all art practitioners including artists, art critics, galleries/museums, collectors, and curators in using the online space to continue to capitalize on and expand the Visual Arts industry. Design/methodology/approach: Review approach. Findings: The COVID-19 pandemic has made a huge impact on the country's Visual Arts industry where a wide range of art activities cannot be implemented and opened up opportunities for online activities Practical implications: Exhibition and sale of works through online approach has become one of the main methods that support the Visual Arts industry with the application of a combination of the latest technologies such as VR and AI that enable the representation of real experiences in the context of art appreciation. Abstract

The research aims to empirically examine the effect of Employee Conflict through the workplace of Islamic spirituality and Analyze Employee performance at Islamic Banks. The data collection method uses a questionnaire. The total sample of 36 employees at the Islamic Bank in Indonesia. Data analysis techniques using linear regression and path path. The results showed that the Spiritual Workplace influenced the conflict of Islamic Bank employees. Conflict affects the performance of Islamic Bank employees. Spiritual Islamic Workplace affects the performance of Islamic Bank employees. Indirectly employee conflict through Islamic Workplace employees has a significant effect on the performance of Islamic Bank employees. The results of the study are expected to be an input for managers to reduce conflicts in the company with Islamic spirituality workplaces.

Abstract

Purpose: This paper aims to analyze the influence of service quality and brand equity on attitude and behavior loyalty in the customers from Bank Jatim Syariah Surabaya. Design/methodology/approach: The method used is statistic-descriptive and the design used is cross sectional. Findings: 2 out of 7 hypotheses are accepted while the other 5 is rejected. Research limitations/implications: Variables considered in this study are service quality, brand equity, attitude loyalty, and behavior loyalty. The samples are 80 respondents from Bank Jatim Syariah Surabaya that were chosen using purposive sampling. Practical implications: Results show that from the 7 hypotheses proposed, only 2 that are accepted. Originality/value: This paper is original. Paper type: This paper can be categorized as a case study.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the idea that banks must increase customer satisfaction. Many benefits received with high customer satisfaction, including increasing customer loyalty, increasing advertising effectiveness, and increasing business reputation The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of service quality, work professionalism and promotion on customer satisfaction. The population in this study was 2,155 customers, the number of samples using the Slovin formula was 96. The data analysis technique used was multiple regression analysis. The research results are: 1) There is an influence of service quality on customer satisfaction, 2) There is the influence of work professionalism on customer satisfaction, 3) There is an effect of promotion on customer satisfaction, 4) There is the influence of service quality, work professionalism and promotion of customer satisfaction, 5) Variable work professionalism has a dominant influence on customer satisfaction.

Abstract

This paper investigates the resilience’s of Indonesia stock Exchange toward the US and China trade war. Emphasis is put on the influence of US and China trade war since 2016. We analyze data using five major sectoral indexes in IDX (Consumer Goods Industry Sector, Agriculture Sector, Infrastructure, Utility and Transportation Sector, Miscellaneous Industry Sector, and Mining Sector) using volatility modelling of Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) & Generalized Method of Moments (GMM) methods to find the correlation and co- integration between selected sector US and China trade war. We find inconclusiveness and no co-integration on correlated markets although the trade wars have impact for each sectoral index by using ARDL. GMM method showed a significance short-run relationship and long-run relationship. The market disequilibrium takes nearly about one and half week to clear any disequilibrium toward certain shocks or impacts.

Abstract

Purpose: Civic Education curriculum from year 1975-2013 are ultimately aims to make citizens say, act, and behave, based on Pancasila or spirit in everyday life that are run from the time school education to become a high school mature and become the pride of the nation bless yourself, family, school, state and nation with the moral soul/good and intelligent character who can advance and competitive in national and international era. Design/methodology/approach: Civic Education solution 21 century 4.0 Indonesian is through a process at body of knowledge of learning and practice of students in the school are monitored and assessed as a form of moral evaluation and student behavior. Opportunities Civic Education still need a lot of development in the scientific body of knowledge. Findings: Civic Education strength is on the Pancasila, the 1945 Constitution, values, morals, local knowledge and diversity in cultured. There are weaknesses in the teaching of Civic Education monotonous and more innovative not only focuses on the cognitive, affective and psychomotor while dispensed and not included on the national exam. Research limitations/implications: Threats Civic Education and free sex number of students who make the nation weak morals and act not see the value of Pancasila (say and behave without values). Abstract

Education is an important component for students in preparing to enter the world of work. education can be completed by students well through the learning process in college. In learning, of course, there are outputs or results that can measure students' abilities. Benchmarks can be seen from student learning outcomes after using the media marketplace. Marketplace is one that can be used to market entrepreneurial products. The purpose of this study is to improve student learning outcomes after participating in learning with the media marketplaceThe research method used qualitative methods, namely to determine the increase in student learning outcomes after participating in learning with the media marketplace. The data analysis techniques used was tests. Based on the results of this study, it is known that seen from the average student score increased from 84.88 to 86, 24 after the use of marketplace learning media, this means that the use of marketplace learning media can improve student learning outcomes in accounting education study programs.

Abstract

This study concerns with a descriptive analysis of the differences between family business and non-family business as seen from audit fees and audit quality. Audit quality is measured from the size of KAP and industry specialization. In addition, this study analyses the impact between family ownership on audit quality (KAP size and industry specialization). This study examines the influence of audit committee effectiveness on the audit quality. This study used logistic regression analysis. The unit of analysis in this study is the financial statements, while the population is all manufacturing companies listed on the IDX, while the sample in this study is manufacturing companies from 2014 to 2016. The results of this study states that there is no difference between family and non-family business in selecting quality. Second, there is a difference in audit fees between family and non-family business. Third, there is an influence between family ownership and audit fees. This can be interpreted that business in Indonesia which are mostly owned by families, have a very important influence on how much the audit fees incurred for independent parties. Fourth, there is an influence between family ownership and audit quality (based on KAP size). Fifth, there is an influence between family ownership and audit quality (based on industry specialization). Sixth, there is an influence between the effectiveness of the audit committee and audit quality (based on the KAP size). Seventh, there is an influence between the effectiveness of the audit committee and audit quality (based on industry specialization).

Abstract

Purpose: Constructs and visualizes bibliometric networks research in Covid19 and world tourism research with meta-analysis techniques using VOS-viewer analysis. Design/methodology/approach: This research is a bibliometric analysis, a statistical evaluation of published books, or the chapters of a book, scientific articles in COVID19, and tourism field, also it is an effectual way to measure the influence of publication in the scientific community. First analysis using Scopus.com analysis search result, COVID19 and tourism research publication, Next analysis using VOS-viewer, a software tool for constructing and visualizing bibliometric networks in COVID19, and tourism field.
