Abstract

The problem of emphasis on the cost of spending on the need for ordering within a company is very complex where the company demands a very optimal achievement that will lead to a huge profit for the company. Gundaling Farm is a company engaged in the business of producing and selling cow's milk is always trying as much as possible to meet customer demand. In this research used Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method with a genetic algorithm to solve supply problem on Pt.Gundaling Farm. This research is expected to help PT.Gundaling Farm to consider and determine the policy in inventory control activities in order to run more effectively and efficiently. EOQ is the quantity of goods that can be obtained with a minimal cost, or often said to be the optimal amount of purchases. So by applying EOQ method, PT.Gundaling Farm will know how many order (quantity order) goods and when PT.Gundaling Farm should re-order goods during the period 2015. Abstract

The house is one of the basic needs for human beings. Along with the growth in population, housing needs increase. This is evidenced by the proliferation of complex construction of housing, especially in big cities are densely populated as the city of Batam. However, during PT Gracia Herald stands, the company is very difficult to see an increase or decrease in home sales per month of annual data, Fuzzy Logic to determine home sales methods mamdani is one method that can be applied both in the field determine home sales in PT Gracia Herald, Data collection techniques used by investigators are interviewing techniques, documentation studies, and literature. Steps being taken in this study started from processing of data per month in each year, the establishment of fuzzy set, forming a fuzzy rules, fuzzy inference models, assertion (defuzzification). Testing the system uses existing home sales data out of the twelve months in a year, defining the membership function in this study using triangular and trapezoidal curve with rule number seventy-nine rules. Abstract

Monte carlo methods can be used to find a mathematical solution which can comprise many variables that are difficult to solve. Monte Carlo is the basis for all of the algorithms of simulation method which is based on the thinking problems to solve to get better results by giving as much value to obtain a higher accuracy. Monte Carlo method, one of the most appropriate method to conduct research in the port of Batam Sekupang interasional to optimize scheduling ferry. A good schedule will make operating costs more economical. Given this study the authors expect will help service providers sea transportation in this case the Port International Sekupang Batam in determining the scheduled departure ferries which have been designed in sisitem application programming language PHP, so the operating costs of departure ferry services more economically and benefits of cost passengers more leverage, so that companies can survive in the welfare of employees

Abstract

The script of the archipelago is a script used specifically to write a particular regional language. Dijawa known as Javanese script, is known as Balinese script, and in Batak known as Batak script. This research aims to introduce Batak script especially Toba Batak script based on android using Aplication programming interface (API) with Gesture model. The focus of this research is how to translate Indonesian letters, words and sentences into Toba Batak script on smartphone devices and the like that can be used by users by downloading the application on the playstore. From the results of this study can be introduced type of type of letters or script Batak, for the preservation of Toba Batak script maintained. While the method used to design the application of Batak Toba script is UML (Unified Modeling Language) is the most frequently used methodology today for the analysis and design of the system with object oriented methodology that adapt to the rampant use of object oriented programming language "(OOP). As for the design of letters aksara batak model using gesture (a set of gestures) can be done through a program called GestureBuilder that has been installed in the Android Emulator. The result of this research is knowing or converting Indonesian or Batak Toba language to Toba Batak script with text data can be letter, word or sentence.

Abstract

Fulfilling empty position on company often become complicated process because the candidate who can be placed in that position by matching between employee-profile and position-profile sometimes not well define. To minimize that problem, there should be a method such as decision support system which can analize employees who suitable with the available position. This decision support system for profile matching process and gap analization is made based on  company’s data  and  rules  which  locate  on  JP-Insurance Jasaraharja Putra Bengkulu.  Profile  Matching  process  is  taken  to recommend employees in Positioning and Carrier Planning based on three stages, which are Intelectual Capacity, Working Area and Attitude. The result of this process is represented ini rank of employees as recommendation for decision maker in deciding which employee is suitable for the position.This Software is using Microsoft Access 2010 for database and Borland Delphi 7.0 as compiller. Form the result of this implementation system can be seen that this software can be very helpfull on decision support to profile matching in positioning and career planning on JP-Insurance Jasaraharja Putra Bengkulu.Keywords  : System, Decision-Support , Positioning,  Carrier, Information

Abstract

Routers provide the ability to filter traffic, such as blocking Internet traffic, with access Control Lists (ACLs). ACL is a list of a series of licensing or rejection statement applied to the network address or protocol layer on top. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the access control list in the area of network computer in Batamindo Industrial Park Batam. The method used in this research is descriptive and verification methods. The samples are 101 IT employees in Batamindo Industrial Park Batam. And in the formulation of the problem obtained from this research is to determine how the benefits of the use of access control lists. The results obtained are perceived first access control list useful, both instrumental Well Network computer, So with this research writer and IT Employees in the Company may determine that the use of access control lists is very important for computer networks in the area Batamindo Industrial Park Batam.

Abstract

Facility location problem is an important part of integer programming problems, with application in the field of telecommunications, and transportation industry. This study discussed the facility location problem with two echelon. Each second echelon facilities have  limited capacity and can only be supplied by a facility on second echelon. Each customer is served only by a single facility in second echelon. The number and location of the second echelon of custumers to facilities determined echelon two simltaneous. This study addresses the questions of decision-making in designing cargo distribution system where there is a two echelon distribution system the two level structure, components and issues related decisions. The purpose of the model in the study is to determine the location of facilities at each echelon which is a distribution facility and cargo capacity at the facility so that can minimize the total cost of the minimum as the optimal solution of the modeling. Keywords: CFLP, integer programming, optimization, two echelon

Abstract

Waiting is a boring thing for some people, let alone having to queue up in long queues. In everyday life waiting in a queue is a common thing, for example the queue at the bank teller. This queue can occur due to the arrival of the increasingly enlarged and can not be offset by existing services. A long queue will keep people waiting until they get bored and even leave. This will make the bank losers due to loss of customers, on the contrary if there is no queue then the service facility (teller) many unemployed will cause losses for the bank. So needed a solution to overcome this, one of them is by simulation. Simulations are performed to simulate real existing queuing systems with properties that are easier to observe than the original system, to determine the performance of the system. In this research, Hyperexponential method is used to calculate service time with single channel to observe how system performance. Based on the results of the study, the server obtained adequate to serve is as much as 3 servers, if only 1 or 2 servers will result in the average waiting time is too long which resulted in customers will be bored waiting while while using 4 servers will result in the average waiting time zero so the server is idle

Abstract

Unbalanced data classification is a crucial problem in the field of machine learning and data mining. Data imbalances have a poor impact on classification results where minority classes are often misclassified as a majority class. k-Nearest Neighbor is one of the most popular and simple classification methods but it is not equipped with the ability to work on unbalanced datasets. In this study, the Synthetic Minority Over-Sampling Technique (SMOTE) was applied to solve the class imbalance problem on the Credit Card Fraud dataset. By applying the 10-cross-validation evaluation scheme, it was found that SMOTE increases the mean of  G-Mean by 53.4% to 81.0% and the mean of  F-Measure by 38.7 to 81.8%Keywords: Class imbalance, Synthetic Minority Over-sampling Technique, k-Nearest Neighbor
