Abstract

Globally, the World Health Organization reported that there were 10.4 million cases of Pulmonary Tuberculosis in 2016. It is also estimated that many cases still have been undiagnosed or unreported. Meanwhile, 45% of pulmonary tuberculosis cases globally occur in Southeast Asia, including in Indonesia. After implementing strategies to reduce the prevalence of pulmonary TB, the reality showed that they had not succeeded significantly. It was due to the spread of pulmonary TB disease caused by several factors such as the house physical construction. Houses with unhealthy conditions can be a medium for transmitting respiratory disease. Therefore, this research objective was to analyze the effect of house physical construction on the pulmonary TB incidences in the work area of Primary Health Care of Tanggul, Jember Regency. The research design was a case-control using 57 respondents from the case group and 57 respondents from the control group as research samples. The data analysis used bivariate analysis with chi-square test. The results of the identification of respondents' characteristics on the components of the house (ceilings, walls, floors, windows, ventilation, kitchen smoke holes, and lighting), showed that most of them met the healthy housing standards based on healthful house parameters, both from control group and case group. Based on the results of bivariate data analysis with the chi-square test of 8 variables, one variables had significant effects on the pulmonary TB incidence is lighting.

Abstract

Simulation is widely used to model a system that is already running which is then attempted to be repaired or increased its utility. One of the averages reaches 1 hour, especially for the queue of patients who will have an examination with a specialist. The simulation results give different results from the actual conditions. This difference in conditions is caused by several factors, including data limitations, a problem that is often solved using a simulation approach is the queuing system. This study uses the object of patient queues at the Cardiology Polyclinic, Dr. Sardjito as a case study. In actual conditions, patient waiting time and some managerial problems such as the arrival of doctors and service hours that are not on time.

Abstract

The World Health Organization (WHO) states that the top ten causes of death and illness worldwide are caused by occupational risks. In Indonesia itself in 2005, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia stated that as many as 16% of workers had musculoskeletal complaints. The workers every day always do the same work and repeat from day to day, so it is feared that in the long term their health will be disturbed. Quoted from the Central Statistics Agency, the number of industrial sectors in DIY contributed 11.97% to regional income. One of the industrial companies in the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY) is PT Mega Andalan Kalasan (MAK). This research was conducted at PT Mega Andalan Kalasan (PT MAK) with a descriptive type of research. The potential for ergonomic hazards at PT Mega Andalan Kalasan (PT MAK) is a source of potential losses arising from the concept of work attitude, work station layout. Where this ergonomic hazard has the potential to occur to all workers at PT MAK without any difference in treatment. The potential hazards of ergonomics based on aspects of work attitude are found in the finishing process (fireplace and wheel refinement and small parts).

Abstract

Health for all is the goal of sustainable health development as a form of joint investment, commitment to improve the quality of life and the health status of the community as high as possible, according to the mandate of UU RI Number 36 of 2009. Portraits of the complexity of national health problems are also found in DIY, one of the provinces that has been privileged with the enactment of Law No. 13 of 2012 concerning the privileges of the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY). The purpose of this study is to photograph health financing in DIY and its utilization. This study uses a descriptive research method with literature review from various references (Library Research) to analyze DIY health financing policies in 2021. The results of the study show that the life expectancy of DIY reached 74.92% in 2019 and became the best nationally, but on the other hand the poverty rate is also very high compared to the national figure so that the potential for vulnerability to disease and financial resilience is low when there is no health insurance from the government. , the portion of the health budget in DIY of 6.6% is still less than the mandate of the Health Law of 10% of the total APBD, and the specialty of DIY has Danais that distinguishes it from other provinces in Indonesia, although the portion of Danais is smaller but its allocation can be maximized to support efforts to increase public health status.

Abstract

Oral cancer is the most feared impact of smoking compared to other impacts because it is considered the most threatening to a person's life. 80% of oral cancer patients are smokers. A smoker has a seven times greater chance of developing oral cancer than a non-smoker. The appearance of lesions in the oral cavity resulting from a smoking habit is leukoplakia, which is white spots or plaque on the oral mucosa that cannot be peeled off. Experts say that leukoplakia is a pre-malignant lesion in the mouth. The percentage of leukoplakia that turns malignant is 3-6%. Smokers have a six times greater risk of suffering from leukoplakia than non-smokers. According to Silverman's research, of all Leukoplakia cases, 95% of sufferers are smokers. Some literature states that the peak development of leukoplakia can occur after 4 years of tobacco use. One way to detect early malignancies in the oral cavity is to use toluidine blue. Toluidine blue is an important additional diagnostic method to help identify the biopsy site and lesion boundaries, thereby providing a correct diagnosis and early treatment. Toluidine Blue 1% can be used by health workers because it does not require special skills, can be used en masse, is cheap, can be done without requiring a special room, so it can be used during social service services at Community Health Centers and Postal Service Centers.

Abstract

Tuberculosis control in Indonesia has made a lot of progress, but nationally the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY) until the second quarter of 2022, Treatment Coverage ranks 13th, which is 24.6% (SITB, 2022). It is estimated that 9,000 TB cases must be found and treated. This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the TB control program in DIY. Assessment is carried out on process and output aspects in DIY mid-2022. This observational research was conducted at the DIY Health Office. The analysis was carried out descriptively on the process and output variables by comparing the results with the targets or standards set by the Ministry of Health. The 3 main indicators of TB elimination in DIY have not achieved the target, but the activities for the Prevention and Control of Tuberculosis (P2TB) in DIY have been going quite well.
