Abstract

Dusun Ketos and Dusun Cabe is 2 (two) of 7 (seven) Dusun in Kulon Wonodadi Ngadirojo Pacitan, EastJava. The problems faced by the community, especially for Ketos Dusun and Dusun Cabe whose territory the formof hills and rocks are prone / difficulty of clean water, clean water to meet the needs of the people using water fromsprings and rainwater. In the dry season, water from springs debitnya reduced, so that less water needs in thevillage. Only water can not be drained using gravity because it is under the township residents located on the hill - ahill at an altitude of 750 m above sea level. The approach offered to solve the problem is by making a catchmentbasin, hydraulic ram and tank water divider.The effectiveness of the performance of hydraulic ram is influenced by several parameters, among others: the lengthof the inlet pipe, inlet pipe diameter, high penagkap tub of water, and heavy exhaust valve. This study aims toobserve and analyze the effect of altitude penagkap tub of water and a long inlet pipe to the pump head on thehydraulic ram. The research method through designing hydraulic ram and analyzing the catchment basin height of2.9 m, 3.2 m and 3.5 m and a length of inlet pipe 18 m, 24 m and 30 m. Tests carried out in the river, precisely inDusun and Dusun Ketos Cabe, Pacitan.Based on the research and analysis it can be concluded that by using the height of basin catchment 3.5 m and 30 mlength of pipe entry could generate more volume and maximum pressure compared with other tests and can producewater flow of up to 6.7 L / min at pump head 173 m with a vertical condition.So the higher the basin catchment (H), the greater the discharge of the hydraulic ram and the pressure generated inthe intake also getting bigger, while for long inlet pipe (L), the length of the pipe entering the greater the volumeand pressure of entering into Conductor flowing through the valve body hidram, because the water is very largeimpulse will open the waste valve and the valve closed waste arrived - arrived to make the flow greater impetus.This is because water is the greatest moment of the collision on H 3.5 m and 30 m L it affect the discharge resultsand the hydraulic ram pump head.Keywords: hydraulic ram, high penagkap tub of water, the length of the pipe entrance

Abstract

Hamlet Ketos and hamlets Cabe is 2 (two) of 7 (seven) hamlet in Wonodadi Kulon, Ngadirojo Pacitan, the problems faced by the community, especially for Hamlet Ketos and hamlets pepper the area of hills and rocks areprone / difficulty getting water net. The approach offered to solve the problem is by making a catchment basin,hydraulic ram and tank water divider.Hydraulic ram works on the principle of water hammer. When the fluid flow is stopped suddenly it changes themomentum of the fluid future will increase the pressure suddenly. Increased pressure is used to lift some of thewater to higher ground. Then designed hydraulic ram which uses the potential energy of the water as a vehicle. Indesigning the authors use the pump inlet pipe length variation of 18 meters, 24 meters and 30 meters and a diameterof the valve opening is full (0.1 meters), 0.08 meters and 0.065 meters. Tests carried out in the river, precisely inHamlet and Hamlet Ketos Cabe, Pacitan.It can be concluded at this test that by using a long inlet pipe diameter of 30 meters and full valve opening is 0.1meters and the discharge pump head has more leverage than other tests, namely the pump head 173 m and waterdischarge (output) generated amounted to 6.68 L / min. Abstract

Pyrolysis is defined as the process of thermal degradation of the solid by heating process in conditions oflittle or no oxygen, or other reagents that allow some conversion paths thermokimia so that these solids into gas(permanent gasses), liquid (pyrolitic liquid) and solids (char)In this experiment we used slippers waste as raw material. LPG gas stove as a heater in a system retort.denganpirollisis temperature variations of 150 ° C, 300 ° C, 350 ° C and 400 ° C with a variation of pyrolysis time of 60min, 90 min and 120 min. With the aim to produce a yield of carbon in the form of charcoal.The experimental results showed that the waste can be processed into a carbon sandals charcoal by pyrolysis.Carbon yield of charcoal produced from this experiment between 36% to 48% with an average yield of 41.425% Keywords: pyrolysis, the waste slippers, carbon charcoal.

Abstract

Today we meet in some places of the cities get flood frequently, it is happen due to several things namely the waterways too small that make water flowing exceed from those drainage, waterways clogged cause of pile ofrubbish, as well as waterways become shallow result in mud sedimentation. From the problem mentioned above,then emerge an idea to design simple tools process that is pipeline installation on mud sucker pump.This research aims to analyzes the effect of mud viscosity and fluid current speed in various of mud suck pipe cornertoward capacity of mud sucker pipe the higher of the flow then the higher of current average capacity, then incurrent average speed and the highest current average capacity happen in mud sucker corner 35° that is V =2,168 m/s value of Qout = 0.000621 ,m3/s. While the higher of mud viscosity value then lower its current capacity,then otherwise the lower of mud viscosity value then higher its current capacity. In highest average viscosity () = 1,3003 N.s/m2, the value of current capacity (Qout) is small happen in mud sucker pipe corner 60° = 0,000523 m/s.While smallest viscosity () = 1,1225N.s/m2, , the value of current capacity (Q) is big happen in mud sucker pipecorner 35° = 0,000621 m3out/s. And the value of current capacity is smaller then output current capacity is bigger,highest mud current capacity (Qin) happen in mud sucker pipe corner 35° that is (Qin) = 0,000281 m/s and produceaverage (Qout) as high 0,000621 m3/s.Keywords : Mud sucker pump, mud sucker corner variation

Abstract

To reduce the negative impact of huge amount ofwaste of production slippers. The author wants to attempt to recycle the waste into alternative energy ie briquettes.Briquettes made not only to reduce the negative impact arising from the accumulated waste sandals production, butalso can be used as an alternative energy fuel. In this case study, first, slipper's waste and a mixture of coconut shellthrough the pyrolysis process beforehand separately about 350-400ºC. Each of the process takes two hoursdepending on the amount of waste in the pyrolysis. Using adhesive from starch glue with a ratio of 10: 1, ie, 1000grams of a mixture of waste and 100 grams of glue. Variation of the components used are piled waste 20%,shell80% and piled waste 60%, shell 40% . Pressed using a manual hydraulic press machine with variations of pressureof 60 kg / cm², 80kg / cm², and 100 kg / cm². Based on the analysis results obtained that the briquettes with acomposition of 60% waste and 40% shell with a pressure of 100 kg / cm² has a calorvalue, long boil, the old ignitionand efficiency most good, with a total moisture content of 10.61%, volatile matter 6:52%, 3.77% ash content, fixedcarbon 79.10% . Abstract

The pump is a machine used to raise the liquid from the surface of the low to the higher, or move the fluidfrom the high pressure. Plan and create a means of centrifugal pumps for water flow to the arrangement / circuitParallel to the needs of fluid mechanics lab in August 17, 1945 the University of Surabaya. Abstract

Redesign Water System Intallation Office of Airport Authority Region III. Old building and new buildingAirport Authority Region III has a working installation of water and pumps of different systems. Old buildingconsists of three floors using press tank system (hydrosphere). Being new building consists of 7 floors using rooftank systems. With consideration of cost efficiency of electricity consumption and maintenance costs burden, thepress tank system is considered less efficient because of the fluctuation of the working pressure greater than the tankroof system. This resulted in the pumps often operate ON - OFF quickly also resulting in large power consumptionand potentially cause damage to pumps and installation. The purpose of this study was to plan the installation of thesystem on integrated water on both the building using roof tank system. From the analysis of the water requirementcalculations required water availability of 120 m3 / day. For office buildings with average working hours of eighthours are taken into account during peak usage hours by 27 m3 / h. Of the allowable flow rate, then the dimensionsof the transfer pipes and main pipes  3 inch, collection pipes and branch pipes varies the  ½, ¾, 1, 1¼ and 1½ inch. For ground water tank volume of 90 m3, roof tank was needed capacity of 67.5 m3 (3 units @ 22,500 litertank). Take into account head losses that occur in the transfer pipe, acquired 34 m total head pumps, hydraulicpower with 78% efficiency of 3.21 kW. Of reference brands Grundfos pump then pumps Grundfos selected types ofvertical multistage centrifugal pump with specifications: Type CR (E) 32-2, capacity 32 m3 / h, head 34 m, 4 kWmotor power, supply voltage 3 x 380-480 Volt, 2900 rpm rotation and frequency of 50 Hz. Abstract

Adobe as a building material to build a house, have a sizeable market. One village Nogosari,Kec.ngadirojo, Kab. Pacitan, from the results of field surveys in the brick-making process is still very less effective,so as to enhance the economy of citizens who are farmers rainfed and productive time work only 4 months.Dihasilkanpun brick production capacity is small enough that 300 pieces / 8 hours. To increase the capacity it needsto be developed and applied the appropriate technology, so the idea the author to replace conventional productiontools are still with vibro brick pressing machine that uses a gasoline engine propulsion. In this case the authorsanalyze lap and suppressive measures the distance to the wall in the mold, which aims to increase productioncapacity and get the best quality.In this study analyzed the round and suppressive measures the distance to the wall in the mold of the productioncapacity in a pressing machine combining brick with round and suppressive measures the distance to the wall in amold with different variables and testing each - each 3 times. Wherein rotation of analysis and distancedivariabelkan as follows rotation 5000 rpm, 4600 rpm, 4000 rpm and a distance of 30 mm, 25 mm, 20 mm. Tests carried out in theriver, precisely in Hamlet and Hamlet Ketos Cabe, Pacitan.From the results of the data collection high catchment basin 3.5 m and weight of the exhaust valves 26.5 N (2.7 kg)with a height h = 180 m has a maximum pressure of other testing and discharge of produced water is 7.5 L / min. Sothe higher the catcher bath water (H) the higher the pressure generated in the intake, due to the greater mass andvelocity, the momentum is also getting bigger. As for the valve exhaust (w) with a heavy load and stride lengthconsiderable allow fluid to flow more quickly, so that when the valve sewage closing will surge high enoughpressure that makes impulse flow is greater exceeds the static pressure inlet pipe, and the may result in elevatedworking fluid toward the air tube. Abstract

Vane type hydraulic pump is a type of Positive Displacement pumps, which pump a moving elementrotational motion. Type hydraulic vane pumps are widely used in heavy equipment units, in addition to practicalbentukya, the price is relatively cheap and very easy maintenance among their group. Vane type hydraulic pumpalso has Internal Leakage factor is small. Damage that often occurs in the field on the vane type hydraulic pump that is the wear and tear on the rotor andside plate. One way to restore the pump performance to make cuts or pemotongngan (scrap) at the surface camring,rotor and side plate wear. Cutting a maximum of 1.5 mm from the previous size. T6DC-006 pump that haskarakteristk: Volumetric displacement (V) = 21.3 cm3/rev, Max. intermittent pressure (p) = 280bar, Maxcontinuous pressure (p) = 240bar, max speed (vmax = 2500 rpm. By testing the characteristics of hydraulic pump, cutting camring of 0.5 mm, 1 mm, 1.5 mm, is able to maintain theperformance characteristics of the pump up to 80% against standartnya, at 1500 rpm rotation, output flow (Qout) at0 bar = 32 L / min, while output flow (Qout) at 140 bar = 27 liters / min. so that the pump is worn or damaged theycan be reused.Keyword :
