Abstract

In a way, the city experienced rapid growth due to population dynamics, socioeconomic change, and from the interaction with the other regions. Population growth resulted in the densification of population and settlements rapid and uncontrolled in that part of town. The increasing demand for specialized space for resettlement and land up to the growing impact of environmental quality deterioration. Spatial Plan that was created was not able to prevent urban land conversion so that the presence of green open space (RTH) is threatened and the city is not pleasant to be around. The main problem is the reduction in the presence of RTH RTH due to limited land and inconsistent in applying the spatial. RTH is caused by a reduction in the conversion RTH function switch to another space allotment.According to Law no. 26 of 2007 of the act states that the proportion of green space of at least 30% of the area of the city. Urban green space consists of RTH Public Private dn, where the proportion of public green space is 20% and for RTH Privat is 10%. But the facts on the ground stated that the presence of green space that is far from ideal proportions, the dominant market power of changing land use so that the presence of green space terpingirkan even neglected its function and purpose. Development in urban areas continue to be implemented, see Depok as a buffer for the city which is the center of the capital Jakarta. Currently Depok City Government with the whole community is in it until the end of 2012, has fulfilled its obligation to build one of 3110.88 ha (15.48% of the area of the city of Depok) green open space in the city of Depok consisting RTH an area of 1855.15 hectares of public green space and an area of 1255.73 ha Privat.

Abstract

People's lives around the Nature Reserve (CA) has a very close interaction with the natural resources around them. One of them is the interaction associated with the use of plants (ethnobotany). Documenting knowledge society CA Dungus Iwul ethnobotany essential to keep the knowledge society CA Dungus Iwul in the utilization of the plant is not lost. This study aims to determine the potential of useful plants in the region CA Dungus Iwul and examine the use of plants by people around CA Dungus Iwul (ethnobotany). Ethnobotany study conducted by interview and to determine the potential of plants useful in the CA Dungus Iwul done with vegetation analysis. The number of plant species that are found from the analysis of the vegetation in the area Dungus Iwul CA acquired as many as 43 species of 25famili. Most useful plant species are as many as 21 species of medicinal plants. While the study of ethnobotany identified as many as 30 species of 21 families and each has been grouped into 11 groups of usefulness, where the species is found mostly serves as a group of as many as 25 species of medicinal plants. Habitus most dominating of the results of the analysis of seedling and plant vegetation is under the most dominating family is Arecaceae, while on the study of ethnobotany is habitus of shrubs with family Zingiberaceae. Based on the percentage of habitat types, the plant most widely used by the public is a plant cultivated 20 species (67%) and 10 species (33%) is a wild plant, which used only a small portion of the area CA Dungus Iwul about 7 species. Their use of plants that originate from within the CA Dungus Iwul indicate that there has been interaction, ie interaction in the form of plant utilization. However, the interaction is still relatively low so that the possibility of damage to a small area.

Abstract

This activity aims to determine the potential of the potential of tourism resources in National Park of Way Kambas which can be used as an eco-tourism development, visitor perceptions of the existing ecotourism activities in elephant conservation center TNWK, and strategic program development activities in TNWK elephant conservation center. The research activities carried out at National Park of Way Kambas (TNWK) elephant conservation center precisely, Lampung province about a month in June and ending in July 2011 and consists of data collected from primary and secondary data potential tourism resources, perceptions of managers and community participation, characteristics and perceptions of visitor motivation, developing ecotourism activities. Data analysis was done qualitatively and quantitatively. Tourism resources including Sumatran elephant, facilities and infrastructure and supporting facilities are visitor centers, shelters, mosques, bins, lighting, main roads, parking lots, restrooms, and tourist stalls. Based upon existing tourism resources and interviews with managers, the community and visitors, most managers say agree if developed an ecotourism activity involves the local community. In an interview conducted through questionnaires to the visitors, most visitors are interested in tourist activities. Therefore it can be prepared a development strategy in the ecotourism activities TNWK through SWOT analysis with a combination of strength factor and opportunity factor, weakness factor and opportunity factor.

Abstract

Konyal (Passiflora suberosa L) is one of the IAS species and it’s are very big influence on the growth of endemic species in RPTN Mandalawangi. Konyal spread very quickly and can kill their host trees pose a major threat to endemic plant species. In connection with the distribution konyal, it is necessary the existence of a preventive step to support konyal control is to map the distribution of konyal in RPTN Mandalawangi to determine priority areas that must be controlled immediately.Mapping the distribution of IAS konyal (Passiflora suberosa L) was conducted to determine and identify konyal (Passiflora suberosa L) and its distribution. Later this study is expected to be a reference for management to control the distribution of konyal (Passiflora suberosa L)

Abstract

Research on Composition and Potential Vegetation in Mangrove Forest Ecosystem has been done in Nasik Strait Belitung, Bangka Belitung Islands Province. In the month of May-July 2013, which includes the location of the research, namely in the village of Nasik Strait (Cape Nyato), Belitung regency. This study was conducted to determine the potency and composition comprising Relative Frequency, Relative density, relative dominance and importance value index any type of Mangrove Plant. Mangrove ecosystem measurements using line transect plot 20 m x 20 m.Identification results obtained by 10 mangrove plant species consisting of 8 true mangrove species (true mangrove) and 2 types of mangrove along (associate mangrove). The results showed that Bruguiera gymnorrhiza has the highest importance value index in the Village Location Nasik Strait (114.46), while the type of Xylocarpus granatum has the lowest critical value (5:57). Water temperatures ranging from 290C and the location of the substrate are sand, silt and clay. Dominant mangrove species composition of mangrove forest ecosystems in the dominance of the five species of mangrove Rhizophora apiculata, Rhizophora mucronata, Brugueira gymnorrhiza, Sonnerata alba and Xylocarpus granatum.
