Abstract

Job stress is a feeling of stress experienced by employees in dealing with work. The existence of demands on the workforce such as in terms of mastery of new technology, restrictions or tighter times, changes in demands on work results, as well as changes in work regulations, can lead to a situation that pressures employees. The study aims to analyze the factors that cause stress on the lane workers at Baja Fabrication Plant II PT Wijaya Karya Industrial & Construction. This study uses a qualitative design with the research approach used is phenomenology. The nature of the production process that occurs in the construction industry makes construction work dangerous and full of risks that can cause stress. The data collection process was carried out from May to June 2019. The method used was in-depth interviews, observations, and document review, to find out the characteristics, work motivation, job satisfaction, workload, work organization, and work environment. The results showed that the characteristics of workers in the steel fabrication plant line are predominantly male, and young, the workload is felt by workers at a younger age than the elderly. Some workers feel uncomfortable working because of physical environmental factors, but some are accustomed to being used to adapt. The target work that must be completed within a certain time can be a factor causing stress on track workers, and also income that is felt to be lacking and not in accordance with workload. The results of this study are expected to be a reference and useful for further research, and are also expected to be taken into consideration for the determination of policies from the company, especially with regard to occupational safety and health.

Abstract

Sektor konstruksi adalah industri yang berisiko dan menyumbang 32% kecelakaan kerja ketimbang sektor kehutanan, transportasi, dan juga pertambangan. Pemerintah telah mempertimbangkan masalah perlindungan kepada ketenagakerjaan, yakni lewat Undang-Undang No. 1 Tahun 1970 tentang Keselamatan Tenaga Kerja. Peralatan keselamatan kerja adalah peralatan yang digunakan para pekerja konstruksi untuk melindungi diri dari hal-hal yang tidak diinginkan. Salah satunya dengan menggunakan Alat Pelindung Diri (APD) yang sesuai dengan standarisasi. Dari kajian literatur ditemukan bahwa tingkat kepatuhan penggunaan APD di tempat kerja masih belum baik. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis tingkat kepatuhan penggunaan alat pelindung diri di PT Wijaya Karya Industri dan Konstruksi Pabrik Fabrikasi Baja. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Pengambilan sampel secara purposive sebanyak 6 informan. Fokus penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis tingkat kepatuhan penggunaan alat pelindung diri. Data yang diambil karakteristik informan, variabel predisposisi, variabel faktor enabling dan variabel reinforcing faktor. Data yang diambil meliputi wawancara, telaah dokumen, observasi, dokumentasi dan perekaman data. Analisis data menggunakan triangulasi. Rata-rata pengetahuan pekerja mengenai APD sudah cukup baik. Kepatuhan pekerja dalam penggunaan APD sudah cukup baik. Sebagian besar pekerja sudah patuh dalam menggunakan APD. Fasilitas APD pada PT WIKA Pabrikasi baja masih kurang, seperti APD yang diberikan kepada pekerja yaitu sepatu safety yang harus disediakan sendiri oleh pekerja dan masih ada APD yang tidak sesuai standar. Pengawasan sudah dilakukan dengan baik dan sudah ada tindakan yang diberikan berupa teguran dan peringatan untuk pekerja yang tidak patuh dalam penggunaan APD.

Abstract

Hospitals are one of the places that have a fire risk. It is estimated that in the United States each year from 2012 to 2014 there were 5.700 fire cases in health facilities and 1100 of them occurred in hospitals. This study aims to examine the incidence of fires in several hospitals in Indonesia, the data obtained from online media. This type of research is a case study using qualitative methods. The data used in the search for fire cases in hospitals is data published in Indonesian online media, which was published from January 1, 2020 to December 31, 2020. The variables studied were the time, the city where it occurred and the part affected by the fire incident at the hospital. The results showed that hospital fires occurred in 7 (seven) cities/districts in Indonesia. The cities where the fires occurred twice were in Jakarta, twice in Surabaya and one time each in Semarang, Yogya and Bekasi Regency. The fire incident at the hospital occurred between July and October, which is the dry season in Indonesia. Most of the time the fire occurred was above 14.00 pm (three times), around 17.00 pm was twice, once at 11.00 am and once at 5.00 am in the morning. The burnt section on the ground floor, air conditioning in the laboratory room, pharmacy building, radiology, warehouse, adult treatment room, and electrical panels and generators. All of these locations are prone to fire.

Abstract

The factor that dominates the occurrence of accidents comes from the human factor, which is 28%, where fatigue experienced by motorcyclists is the main cause of accidents. Online motorcycle taxi drivers who are tired usually don't realize that they are tired, this happens because of an excessive feeling of confidence that they know when they are tired. This study aims to determine the factors related to the level of work fatigue among online motorcycle taxi drivers in the East Jakarta area in 2019. This type of research is a quantitative research with a descriptive survey design using a cross sectional approach. This research was conducted in the East Jakarta area in April 2019. Sampling used the accidental sampling technique. The sample in this study were online motorcycle taxi drivers aged >20 years in the Jatiwaringin area, East Jakarta. the samples taken were 91 people. The research instrument used in this research is to use a questionnaire. Data analysis using univariate and bivariate. The characteristics of the most respondents aged 26-35 years are 29 people, the most respondents' sleep duration is <8 hours, namely 52 people (57.1%), the most respondents' working period is <3 years, namely 63 people (69.2%), the most respondents' working duration is >8 hours, namely 52 people (57.1%), and respondents who experienced high levels of fatigue were 49 people (53.8%). There is a relationship with work fatigue on online motorcycle taxi drivers in the East Jakarta Region, namely length of sleep (p-value = 0.042), duration of work (p-value = 0.024), overtime (p-value = 0.024). Meanwhile, those that are not related to work fatigue are age (p-value = 0.237) and years of service (p-value = 0.053).

Abstract

There are about 40% of workers stated that their work is full of pressure at a dangerous level and defines nursing as the profession most at very high risk of experiencing stress. Among them there are 80% of workers feel stress in their work and they need help to overcome these problems. The results of research from Haryanti et al. There is a relationship between workload and work stress of nurses in Semarang District Hospital. This study aims to describe the workload with work stress on caregivers at Panti Werdha Budi Mulia 1 Cipayung, East Jakarta in 2018. This study uses a qualitative design with a phenomenological approach. This research was conducted at the Panti Tresna Werdha Budi Mulia I Cipayung, East Jakarta. The time for collecting research data was from June 21 to July 21 2018. The sampling technique chosen was Purposive Sampling with 6 informants. Data were taken by in-depth interviews, document review and observation. Data analysis using triangulation. The results showed from the adaptation process and getting closer to the elderly by talking to them so that they felt comfortable. There is job satisfaction of the informant, feels comfortable working with a comfortable work environment. In addition, because of their work motivation, almost all of the informants feel happy because they are looking for a reward. The tasks given to caregivers are appropriate and everyone enjoys their work because there is enough rest time and work relationships for fellow co-workers to support each other. The results showed from the adaptation process and getting closer to the elderly by talking to them so that they felt comfortable. There is job satisfaction of the informant, feels comfortable working with a comfortable work environment. In addition, because of their work motivation, almost all of the informants feel happy because they are looking for reward. The tasks given to caregivers are appropriate and everyone enjoys their work because there is enough rest time and work relationships for fellow co-workers to support each other.

Abstract

Nursing care for clients with post op appendicitis is a series of nursing process in overcoming the problem on the clients. Appendicitis is an inflammation of the appendix vermiformis and is the most common cause of acute abdomen. Nursing care is done to prevent and reduce mortality in the future. Based on the medical records obtained results of 11 clients in the West Emerald Room recorded the diagnosis of post op appendicitis at Regional Public Hospital Budhi Asih in January, February, and March 2018. In this case, thestudy aims to carry out nursing care on clients who experience acute pain with post op appendicitis in Regional Public Hospital Budhi Asih. In this scientific paper used qualitative research methods, descriptive, case study approach with intervention is reduced pain. Participants in this case study included clients, families, and nurses. Subjects who used 2 clients with the same medical diagnoses and nursing problems of clients who experienced acute pain with post op appendicitis, 2 families, and 2 nurses room. Characteristics of participants in this case study included male and female clients and had post-op wound pain. The results showed priority nursing diagnoses on acute pain clients with post-op appendicitis performed nursing actions of deep breathing relaxation techniques and distraction techniques. Evaluation of acute pain nursing problems associated with post-op appendicitis in both clients is resolved, pain decreases with the pain scale 1-2 and the clients appears relaxed.
