Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out Bourdieu's thoughts, as an introduction to understanding social reality. This study introduces the basic ideas of Bourdieu's thinking in understanding how individuals relate to form "practices". How does this "practice" occur and what is "involved" in that "practice", and what are the relations of habitus, arena, capital, practice and power in Bourdieu's view. The results of this study show that Pierre Bourdieu is one of the leading theorists whose ideas are used in cultural studies. Bourdieu's thinking was heavily influenced by Aristotle, Thomas Aquinas, Hegel, Marx, Durkheim, Max Weber, Picasso, Franz Fanon, Jean Paul Sartre, Husserl, Ferdinand de Saussure, Levi Strauss, Wittgenstein, Martin Heidegger, Michel Foucault, etc. The conclusion of the research is that Bourdieu concocted the thoughts of several thinkers into a new form of thinking that emphasizes the role of actors or subjectivity, which is known as the structural-constructive method. Abstract

Foucault is highly interested in examining how knowledge and power interact. There is no power exercise that does not result in knowledge, and there is no knowledge that does not take into account power interactions. Modern people are born as the objects and subjects of power nets that distribute and provide for them, according to Foucault. One of the most amazing philosophers is Michel Foucault. His capacity for thought is limitless. His ideas have influenced everything from history, philosophy, social and political sciences, to the medical industry, which his family works in. Because the conclusions of his thinking ran counter to the prevailing modernist theories of the period, Foucault is frequently referred to as a post-modernist, post-structuralist, or even a philosopher. However, he rejected all of these labels. Foucault's interest in themes of humanity, marginality, abnormality, and his conception of truth are key strengths of his ideas. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explain how the journey of Indonesian democracy from the early days of the independence of the Republic of Indonesia to the end of guided democracy. This study uses historical research methods. The results of the research show that August 17, 1945 was the independence day of the Republic of Indonesia which was successfully proclaimed. With the founding of the new Indonesia, rules and order for the life of the nation and state are needed. Thanks to the persistent efforts of the founding fathers of the Indonesian nation, they managed to formulate a law known as the 1945 Constitution. When the Netherlands recognized Indonesian sovereignty in 1949, the Indonesian nation faced a new political atmosphere. Various kinds of political conditions occurred, ranging from cabinet changes, political ideological feuds between religious, nationalist and socialist groups, to the domination of one particular group that tried to perpetuate power. The conclusions of the research show that since its establishment Indonesia has started to experience various problems in politics which have made Indonesia more mature in politics Keywords: Democracy, Politics, Power.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out how the analysis of GAYARA broadcast programs increases people's understanding of national culture in terms of pre-production, production, and post-production processes and also to find out how people understand after hearing GAYARA broadcast programs. The research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. Sources of research data are taken from primary data sources and secondary data sources. The results of the study indicate that the process of implementing the GAYARA broadcast program production has been going quite well and the listeners of the GAYARA broadcast program know and understand more about the culture in Indonesia. The conclusion of the research is that the GAYARA broadcast program has the aim of providing information and understanding related to national culture to the public, one of which is regarding the art culture of madihin and messages of mande. Abstract

This study aims to discuss the functions contained in motifs or carvings on WB. The theory used in this research is Paul Cobley's theory of semiotic studies. The research method used is ethnographic method and descriptive method. The result of the research is that Waku Bhulakoi functions to accompany traditional ceremonies and traditional dances. The meaning contained in WB is sacred. The symbols in the WB describe the sacrifices in creating traditional objects in culture. The WB shape is like a tube whose center is slightly inward as a barrier between the top and bottom. The top is covered with human skin. Motifs or carvings are formed based on the fact that the characters reveal a certain environment of events with the function of local wisdom relations. The function of motive is as a medium of communication and a medium of expression of life that is lived collectively. In conclusion, Waku Bhulakoi is the name of the traditional Sentani Klen Haesei musical instrument, Ifale Village. Tifa is sacred because the cover is made of human skin. Waku Bhulakoi has a functioning motive that can be interpreted. Keywords: Motive, Waku Bhulaikoi, Sentani

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify and describe the role played by Indonesia in resolving the conflict over the transfer of Israel's capital city from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem at the United Nations from 2014 to 2019. The research method uses qualitative methods with a literature study approach by accumulating various information from the results of studies. beforehand as well as reviewing official documents and mass media regarding the status of Israel and Palestine in the international system. This study uses the concept of National Roles analysis from K. J. Holsti. The research results show that Indonesia acts as a Bastion of Revolution Liberator or a state that acts to eliminate colonialism or anti-colonial attitudes and the same ideological principles maintain peace without using a desire for ethnic unity or a military approach. The conclusion is that Indonesia is still consistent in supporting the existence of Palestine with a soft power or diplomacy approach. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to understand the role of family communication in anticipating juvenile delinquency. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research method. The research data was taken from interviews with 3 informants. The results of this study are that according to all informants, family communication is the most important thing, and the closeness between parents and children is the key to everything. The conclusion of this study is that in anticipating juvenile delinquency parents/families always prioritize communication between parents and their children. With in-depth heart-to-heart communication, as a parent, you will be able to understand what your child wants and vice versa, your child will understand what your parents want. Abstract

This study aims to find out how Podomoro Park Bandung uses CSR communication strategies and organizing information for multi-stakeholders. This study used a qualitative approach with a case study approach, in which field observations and in-depth interview data collection techniques were used. The results of the study show that Podomoro Park Bandung has implemented a model of organizing CSR information and communication strategies from the bottom up. The Podomoro Park Bandung CSR communication strategy uses information organization to find related information that fits the needs of stakeholders. The conclusion of this research is that by using this information organizing strategy, Podomoro Park Bandung hopes to achieve bigger goals in its CSR program. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the public relations strategy of the Bogor City Communication and Information Service in managing social media Instagram @kominfobogor and also the public's response to the public relations activities of the Bogor City Communication and Information Service in managing social media Instagram @kominfobogor. The method used by researchers is a qualitative approach through interviews with the target informants. The object that is focused on in this study is the Bogor Information and Communication Service. The results show that the application of the public relations strategy by the Bogor City Diskominfo still has several shortcomings, such as planning that is not optimal when brainstorming is carried out, not having a certain time to post content, content and packaging forms that are too monotonous, to evaluation forms that can be further detailed. The conclusion of the research is the role of Diskominfo Bogor as public relations capable of managing social media content well. Actions taken are setting target audiences, creating timetables, and distributing content. Keywords: Content, Public Relations Strategy, Social Media

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of government policies through the mass media on students' decisions in West Java to vaccinate against Covid-19. The method used by researchers is simple linear regression analysis. The sample used in this study was 100 students in West Java. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant influence between government policies in the mass media on students' decisions to vaccinate Covid-19. The R Square results found that the effect of government policy on the mass media on the decision to vaccinate Covid-19 was 49.8%. While the remaining 50.2% is explained by other variables not included in this research model. The conclusion of this study is that government policies in the mass media have a significant effect on students' decisions to vaccinate Covid-19. Keywords: Covid-19, Government policy, Vaccinate
