Abstract

This research aims at: (1) identifying the effecteiveness of multi media-based learning on Social Science; (2) describing the attractiveness of multi media-based learning on Social Science; which is carried out at SD Percobaan II Caturtunggal Depok Sleman Yogyakarta, term 2007/2008. The research design is pretest-posttest control group design. The data are drwan through tests which are analized quantitatively; and questionaire to measure the attractiveness of multimedia-based learning model, which will be analized qualitatavely. The treatment is carried out out by using storyboard, which is approved by experts of multimedia and teaching method. The result of the analysis shows that multi media-based learning model significantly influence the students’ achievement in Social Science. While the attractivemess of multi media-based learning relatively high, which is shown by 4.2 of average (in 1-5 scale measure).

Abstract

Character education has been termed as a process of nurturing values to students to have self-reliance against God, themselves, others, environment and national awareness, which are implemented on their thought, attitude, sense, speech and action based on the norms of religion, law, ethics, culture and custom. Character education at school must involve the stakeholders. The implementation of character education is carried out through launching learning experience which is rooted from building character on students. Character education is integrated classroom practice of all subjects, which can adopt some approaches, one of which is contextual approach bringing real practice in classroom. This approach can hopefully achieve not only cognitive, but also affective and psychomotor skills.

Abstract

A teacher is oblidged against all learning development of the students, in achievement, health, savety and well-being. Class instruction has forbit teacher to do all types of physical harashment, discrimination and careless conduct against the physical-impaired students. Teacher assistant is a person who helps and supports the teacher in classes during the teaching-learning process. In England, he / she is called as teaching assitants, classroom assistants, learnong support assistants, child support assistants or Special Needs Assistants. Both, the teacher and the Special Needs Assistants are oblidged to collaborate to carry out teaching which can serve the students’ diversity in each group of the class by applying instruction which is rooted from the students’ diversity.

Abstract

E-matter that is structured science area information set for study that is presented in the form of electronic that make easy student to accessing matter that taught by teacher, so that easier student to study matter that given. Courselab ingredient composer’s soft apparatus teaches multimedia to e-learning powerful and easy used. Courselab this be alternative that can be used teacher to learning e-matter for student especially Class V. This research aims to detect feasibility e-matter study that developed based on validation result to be used in social science study at Class V elementary school. Research method that used R & D. R & D method that used to produce certain product, and test product effectiveness. This method is used to produce and test e-matter based on Courselab. Study media based on Courselab social science that developed proper used to support study social science main criticism appreciates service and struggle figure part in prepare Indonesia independence, because tested the feasibility by media expert and study matter expert with proper result.

Abstract

The parameter of the nation’s achievement is that of youth in the future, because maintaining the achievement is usually more difficult than fighting for it. Youth are young generation who are ablidged to maintain leadership and struggle to stay fit around the stricker competition in all aspects due to the higher velocity of service capital throughout the world, which influence the national integrity of a nation. This can only be resolved by producing human resource with high competitive advantage. Globalization has become the term to call a world condition which takes place without boreder. The globalization progress has evidently stood aside local wisdoms of a nation. This article serves an aoutlook on the efforts of universal character building which is rooted from the local wisdom.

Abstract

Value from a culture nation inheritance is very important. Local wisdom a region contains values necessary exploration and preserved. Reog is one of the artistry enough famous from region Ponorogo and known by world society. Values found in artistry Reog Ponorogo presumably necessary are exploration furthermore to can be ingredient for tribe unity matter development and culture in course social science class IV elementary school. With artistry local superiority values implementation existence Reog Ponorogo, supposed student realizes and apply values from region culture permanently respect coalitions taste and sense of belonging towards region culture. This research aims to detect artistry local superiority values Reog Ponorogo that is used to develop tribe unity matter and culture course elementary school. Research data collecting is done gradually that is passes documentation study, observation, and interview. Technique that done gradually (triangulating) this chosen to guarantee data validity. Data is fished from informant that chosen with snowball sampling technique. Taking manner sampling with this technique is done according to related to, sample determination technique at first number little, longer more expand. In first research at first is chosen one or two person but because data to felted not yet enough so researcher looks for another person that can equip data that got from previous person. These research results show that artistry local superiority values Reog Ponorogo can be used to develop tribe unity matter and subject culture social science Class IV elementary school that is: leadership, aesthetics, and agreement.
