Abstract

The purpose of this study is to look at the effect of the integration of Social Media on student motivation in learning Islamic Philosophy courses. The research method used was quasi-experimental. the research design used is nonequivalent control group design. Observation was carried out twice namely before treatment and after treatment. The research was conducted at the Tarbiyah STAIN Curup Department, with two classes compared, namely class A as an experimental class (BKI Study Program with 13 students) and class B as a control class (MPI Study Program with 19 students). Data analysis techniques in this study used the Liliefors test to test data normality, Fisher's test to test data homogeneity, t-test to test hypotheses, and normal gain to determine differences in student learning motivation between the experimental class and the control class. The results of the calculation of hypothesis testing obtained t-test of 3.2 with a t-table price of 2.08, then t-count> t-table. Conclusion, there is an influence of learning of Islamic Education Philosophy courses integrated with social media on increasing student motivation. Abstract

This study aims to determine the description of the planning of the Counseling Guidance program especially PKO Services in the field of Guidance and to find out the extent of the implementation of Tutoring by the Supervising teacher in overcoming student learning difficulties at Simpang Semambang High School. The subjects of this study were the Supervising Teacher, Principal and students. This type of research is field research, with a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection techniques by observation, documentation, interviews and KPMP data distribution. Data analysis techniques using qualitative descriptive analysis. The results of the research and data analysis concluded that the Guidance and Counseling service program at Simpang Semambang High School had been planned and made according to the needs of the school and the existing guidelines. The fact is the implementation of tutoring in Simpang Semambang State High School is sometimes not fully able to solve every problem of student learning difficulties that occur as a result of the service process or guidance that is carried out with minimal intensity and minimal continuity, it could be from other factors that influence it. Services are carried out in a classical format, namely in the classroom, while service material is only in the form of advice and motivation, while services in the field of tutoring are still minimal. Abstract

Mentoring is a strategy to improve work performance within an organization. This type of research is literature research. Technique of collecting data is done by documentation method that is reading every information that there is relation with study. The data collected from reading results is then analyzed by selecting the appropriate materials or still related to the study. Based on the results of data analysis then synthesized and concluded to be a conclusion of the topic under study. The result of the mentoring process is intentional, does not happen by chance. The key to ensuring the desired outcomes and the sustainability of the mentoring process is to use all the best practices of human performance technology in the needs assessment, planning, design, implementation, and evaluation phase. Mentoring must be closely linked to the organization's mission, objectives, and strategy priorities. Only an integrated quality, capable of facilitating the process associated with current and future missions that can be expected to deal with exposure to the winds of change. The rapidly changing environment demands multi-skilled, flexible workers, and the level of mastery of core competencies. A mentoring process is important to facilitate the improvement of human performance. With the important assumption that individual behavior (mantees and mentors) can be changed as it is aware of each individual is obliged to continuously learn (long life learner). Abstract

This study aims to determine differences in the use of learning packages and learning motivation towards student learning outcomes in introductory courses in education. This study uses a quasi-experimental design using 2x2 factorial. The students involved in this study were 60 special education study program students, divided into 2 groups: the experimental group that was treated using a learning package and the control group that was not treated, namely using a textbook. The results obtained are 1). Fcount value of 54.079 was obtained with Sig. 0.021. Because the value of Sig. <0.05 then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, then it is concluded there is a difference between learning outcomes between those who use the Learning Package and those who use textbooks. 2). Obtained Fcount value of 4.980 with Sig. 0.030. Because the value of Sig. <0.05 then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, then it is concluded there is a difference between learning outcomes between students with high motivation and low motivation. 3). Obtained Fcount value of 1.796 with Sig. 0.047. Because the value of Sig. <0.05 then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, then it is concluded that there is a significant interaction between student learning outcomes using Learning Packages and textbooks as well as differences in motivation that have an influence on learning outcomes in Introduction to Education. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the types of difficulties, the causative factors, and provide solutions to overcome the difficulties in solving physics problems with temperature and heat matter. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive study, a sample of 30 students, taken by purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques using tests, questionnaires, and interviews. The results of the analysis of the test data found the proportion of difficulties in understanding the questions that is equal to 80.3%, difficulty using symbols at 76.2%, difficulty using the formula at 84%, difficulty analyzing graphics at 65% and difficulty at counting at 90%. Based on the results of interviews and questionnaires, the factors causing students to have difficulty understanding the questions are students not understanding the purpose and objectives of the questions, lack of student understanding of the material, students rarely repeat the material that has been learned at home and students are lazy to practice working on the problems. The cause of difficulty using symbols is students forget about physics symbols and students remember symbols by memorizing instead of understanding them. The cause of difficulty using, because students are not interested and feel complicated with the problems contained in the formula, students do not master the material concepts well. The cause of difficulties in analyzing graphs is that students do not understand the purpose of the graph, students feel complicated and are not interested in the problems contained in the graph. The reason for arithmetic difficulties is that students are not interested in counting problems, students are not careful in calculating, students have difficulty doing arithmetic operations, and teachers rarely give varied problems. Conclusion, this problem can be overcome by frequently reading reference books, more diligent in doing the assignments given by the teacher, more active practice of physics problems at home, more concentrated when analyzing graphs and not in a hurry, students must often practice calculation problems so that the skills counting can increase. Abstract

This study aims to determine the completeness of mathematics learning outcomes for Class VIII students of SMP Negeri 8 Lubuklinggau after the guided discovery method is applied. The research method used was quasi-experimental with a population of class VIII as many as 191 students and as a sample was class VIII F as many as 32 students taken randomly. Data collection was carried out using test techniques in the form of essay questions. The collected data were analyzed using t-test. Based on the results of data analysis on confidence level α = 0.05, it was found that t-count > t-table with a value of 5.18> 1.69 The average value of students before applying the guided discovery method was 21.83 and after giving the guided discovery method is 81.27 with the percentage of students who complete reaches 83.3%. Conclusion, the application of the guided discovery method in mathematics learning is significantly proven to be able to improve the average grades of Grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 8 Lubuklinggau. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of contextual teaching learning models and community technology science models on student learning outcomes in the diffusion courses of educational innovation. This study uses quasi-experimental by collecting data using tests, documentation, interviews and observations. The results showed that the average value of student learning outcomes used in the learning model of community technology science was higher than the value of student learning outcomes used in the contextual teaching learning model. This is because the community's science technology model helps students better understand material related to problems found in real life so students become active in the learning process. In conclusion, the Contextual Teaching and Science learning model of community technology is more effective in improving student learning outcomes in the diffusion of education innovation courses. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to apply the guided discovery method in mathematics learning for eighth grade students of SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Tugumulyo. The research method used was the quasi-experimental method (Quasi experiment) which was carried out in one experimental class without a comparison group (control group). The population is all students of class VIII SMP totaling 127 students, and as a sample is class VIII.b which is taken randomly by means of the draw. Data analysis using t test, obtained thit = 2.92> ttab = 1.69, so that students' mathematics learning outcomes after the implementation of the guided discovery method is complete. The average score of students' mathematics learning using the guided discovery method is 80.80. Conclusion, the application of guided learning methods is very appropriate in mathematics learning. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the welfare of committee teachers on the enthusiasm of teaching high school teachers in the Komba City sub-district, East Manggarai Regency, East Nusa Tenggara. This type of research is quantitative research that emphasizes the analysis of numerical data (numbers) obtained by statistical methods with the independent variable being the welfare of the teacher and the dependent variable is the spirit of teaching. The sample was 25 high school teachers spread in 8 city schools in Komba by completing the questionnaire in full. Data collection techniques using Field Research. Data were analyzed using Pearson Product Moment and obtained r table and correlation coefficient of "r" product moment with degrees of freedom (df) = n-2 and real level (α) = 0.05. The results of this research are known r-count of 0.456, and r-table of 0.413 is also known at a significant level of 5% (0.05). Thus r-count> r-table, 0.456> 0.413. Conclusion, there is a significant influence between the level of welfare of the committee of teachers on the enthusiasm of teaching teachers. Keywords: Teacher Welfare, Spirit of Teaching
