Abstract

Aluminium has a good nature; corrosion-resistant, lightweight, and able to be recycled. But the connection with welding aluminum is difficult to do so we need the right way this study aims to determine the characteristics of the results of weld aluminum with large variations in preheat temperature and current. Aluminum Alloy AA 3003 TIG welded with Filler ER 5356, a variation current 110 A, 130 A, 140 A and preheat temperature of 75 degree celcius, 125 degree celcius, 175 degree celcius, then welds tested tensile, hardness, and microstructure. The results showed that the variation o f the current 110 A with a preheat temperature of 175 degree C has the highest tensile strength and hardness.

Abstract

The development of information technology and lead to intense competition in all areas, many parties began implementing a strategy to improve services. Information obtained from various sources such as the Internet can make it easier to determine the state o f a place or vehicle that will be addressed, but a lot of information from various sources, it only displays a static image that is not enough to describe the situation as a whole as well as the environment, it is necessary for the proper media fo r representing the information. One type of appropriate multimedia effective dam to provide information or a description of the location of these is to use virtual panoramic view. Not like a video that is merely one direction (forward grooved) virtual panoramic view is designed to allow the user to interact directly with the environment to crawl closer and more interactive. Final results from this aplication is a multimedia display that can be applied in any kind o f media because using ActionScript for basic program so that it can be applied via online websites or interactive CDs or display advertising.

Abstract

Biogas is an alternative energy sources as a substitute for fossil fuels in household activities daily, but there are obstacles in the use of biogas, namely the difficulty of arranging a flame that is stable and fuel consumption relatively less efficient biogas. So it takes a design development system that will produce a burning stove produces biogas-fueled stove fits the purpose of research, on the other hand biogas stove should be simple, cheap production price, maximum efficiency and safe to use. Stages in the study include: desk assessment, creation of objective requirements desing, manufacture conceptual and basic design, manufacture real stove. As for knowing the performance of the stove carried ujji stove performance are: test flame stability and efficiency. The results showed that the efficiency of the biogas stove design results in only 31 percent higher than the efficiency of biogas stoves old design, while the fuel consumption of biogas stoves new design is 16 percent lower when compared with fuel consumption of biogas stoves old design. In terms of manufacture and ease of repair and maintenance of gas cookers new design is more easily repaired and easy to make and simple in form compared with the old design biogas stoves.

Abstract

Salah satu ironi dalam aplikasi geologi yaitu kita berhadapan dengan data fasies sebagai fungsi waktu, tetapi jarang dilakukan analisa statistiknya. Metoda Rantai Markov (Markov Chains) adalah salah satu cara untuk melakukan analisis perulangan fasies atau jenis batuan yang nantinya akan membantu dalam memprediksi dinamika sedimentasi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu melakukan analisa perulangan fasies dengan menggunakan metode markov chains. Metode statistik yang digunakan adalah deskriptif evaluatif dan diolah menggunakan Statistik Inferensial yaitu markov chains untuk mengetahui analisa perulangan fasies atau jenis batuan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diketahui bahwa hadirnya suatu fasies dalam arti luas,tergantung pada fasies sebelumnya. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan uji chi square dengan nilai x^hitung (10456) > x^tabel(51). Metode markov chains dapat melakukan analisa perulangan fasies yaitu dengan melihat matriks probabilitas transisi yang dapat memprediksi kehadiran fasies yang akan muncul selanjutnya sesuai dengan data yang ingin diketahui yang diprediksi dengan hadirnya fasies sebelumnya.

Abstract

Hole in the structure is often a serious problem, because the hole would trigger a surge in stress concentration which resulted cracks in the structure. In this research will analyze the stress concentration factor on isotropic plate with hole. The method used is numeric method. The technique used to collect data is the study of literature and comparative study of several similar research. Then the design is modeled and analyzed using Patran/Nastran. Based on this analysis the final result obtained is a mathematical equation that can be used to predict the stress concentration factor at the isotropic plate with hole where the results approached to Peterson distribution is used as reference in this research.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperbaiki produktivitas lahan, agar lahan dapat ditanami jenis palawija yang tepat berdasar kandungan zat lahan itu. Banyaknya masyarakat petani yang masih menggunakan pembelajaran secara otodidak dan pengalaman secara turun temurun dalam penentuan jenis tanaman palawija yang ditanam mereka, menyebabkan hasil panen yang tidak maksimal. Sehingga dibutuhkan sebuah Sistem Pendukung Keputusan (SPK) yang dapat membantu para petani untuk menentukan jenis tanaman palawija yang cocok berdasarkan kandungan zat atau unsur hara lahan yang akan diolah. Penelitian dilakukan di Kecamatan Paliyan, Saptosari dan Panggang di Kabupaten Gunungkidul untuk pengambilan data di lapangan, dan di instansi Sekolah Tinggi Teknologi Adisutjipto Yogyakarta yaitu di Laboratorium Komputasi untuk pengolahan datanya. Hasil dari pengambilan data di lapangan tersebut dapat menjadi tolak ukur bagi para pengambil keputusan petani untuk menentukan jenis tanaman palawija yang akan ditanam berdasarkan kriteria unsur hara lahan. Kriteria yang menjadi tolak ukur penentuan jenis tanaman palawija adalah Kapasitas Tukar Kation atau KTK, Kejenuhan Basa, O, Ca, C/N, Kalium, Magnesium, Carbon, Natrium, dan Calsium. Penentuan tingkat kepentingan masing-masing kriteria dan untuk menghitung nilai kesesuain jenis tanaman palawija berdasarkan masing-masing kriteria tersebut menggunakan metode ELECTRE. Berdasarkan teori yang ada dan kesesuaian data yang di lapangan, dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa metode ELECTRE dapat diimplementasikan dengan baik sebagai sistem pendukung keputusan yang dapat membantu menyelesaikan permasalahan penentuan jenis tanaman palawija yang akan ditanam guna meningkatkan produktivitas lahan. Hasil perhitungan manual maupun implementasi sistem menunjukkan Kecamatan Paliyan cocok ditanamai kedelai, Kecamatan Saptosari dan Panggang cocok ditanami jagung, karena struktur tanahnya sama. Dengan sistem yang dibangun ini, peran user yaitu petugas penyuluh pertanian dapat mengarahkan para petani untuk memilih jenis tanaman palawija yang sesuai dengan kandungan zat lahan, sehingga produktivitas lahan meningkat. Diharapkan, kedepannya hasil pertanian maksimal, sehingga nilai ekonomi dan kesejahteraan petani di wilayah Kabupaten Gunungkidul akan lebih baik dari sebelumnya.

Abstract

Structuring and technical planning for the development of a watershed requires analysis of hydrological characteristics. This study aimed to analyze the hydrology characteristics of Gajahwong river to be formulated technical effort Gajahwong watershed development. Stages of analysis using secondary data from the Balai PSDA DIY Province, such as watershed maps, daily rain, rain hourly, daily discharge, discharge offlood and flood event records from 2001 to 2013. Analysis of peak flow /flood hydrograph using frequency analysis methods and Collins unit hydrograph methods. While the low-flow analysis using the model HSS Gama I and HS Gama II. The tools used are ArcView, frequency analysis program and Solver are contained in Microsoft Excel. Based on the analysis o f the peak flow of the flood discharge of 20 annual plan obtained 332 m3/ s happened in the 4th hour. While based on a low-flow analysis it can be concluded that during the dry season are still available Gajahwong river flow is sufficient to meet the needs o f well water for irrigation, fisheries and river tours.

Abstract

Production facility have a significant influence on production process. CV. Jokudo Kamsa got a problem on water filling on rotary drum, it takes 120 minutes on tanning process. It causes the facility is not enough for this process. So, we need to build pipe installation to reduce material handling time, especially on water filling’s time. Feasibility study on pipe installation based on Benefit Cost Analysis Methode. We applied NPV, Payback Period and Return On Investment. Based on data tabulation we found Rp. 84,787,387,75 on NPV, 74,87 percent on ROI and 5.23 months on PP. And the most important thing we can reduce material handling time in 70 minutes on water filling with material handling cost as big as Rp. 139,804,9.

Abstract

Interactive Edugame is an educational media are widely used in today, with interesting visualization, so that the public easily identify the information submitted. Interactive Edugame introduction o f the National Indigenous Apparel Indonesia can be a medium of learning and creativity, so that is making user easier to understand the National Indigenous Apparel. Interactive Edugame developed using Adobe Flash and action script programming language. The results already obtained from tests using questionnaires and calculated the Likert method is 74.1 percent, it can be concluded that the application interactive edugame introduction o f the National Indigenous Apparel Indonesia entered good criteria.

Abstract

The program is implemented by the National Agency of Standardization Education (BSNP) in principle requires the students participation in the information of various media, one of which comes from the Internet. The role of the school, especially teachers by providing a source material is also very necessary. The more resources available subject should be one of the students notes of support factors. Digital training network creative services can be an effective learning tool. Digital materials services can be used to connect between the school as a hardware provider, so that information systems can be integrated with each other learning materials between schools and many resource materials obtained . While the data can be integrated materials between schools then use the Web service. Web services are built on a system of service providers that are in each school. The results of the use of Web services technology for systems integration services which are the subject of each school, with testing services that are built at the school system testing and information important that is accessible by the user, ie teachers, students, and office. The results of the study indicate a web service to solve problems by providing a lot of information distributed on the providers and users as needed.
