Abstract

This study aims at analyzing influences of political perception of organization, affective commitment, work satisfaction and work stress towards employee’s eagerness to drop out with a variable of moderation perception of endorsement of organization. This study was conducted at PT PQRS. Analysis method used in this study was mixed method with the explanatory sequential design. The number of the sample was 157 respondents for closed questionnaire and 3 participants for opened questionnaire. The questionnaire measurement was closed with scale 1-7. In quantitative analysis data analysis used was multiple regression analysis with moderating variable and a help of SPSS 23 program. In qualitative analysis data analysis used was descriptive analysis.In quantitative analysis of examination findings toward hypothesis, it is indicated that the variable of political perception of organization positively affects an eagerness of dropping out, affective commitment affects an eagerness of dropping out negatively, work stress positively affects an eagerness of dropping out and perception of endorsement of organization can moderate correlation between affective commitment and work stress towards an eagerness to drop out yet not between  perception of endorsement of organization and work satisfaction towards employee’s eagerness to drop out.In qualitative analysis gives results that support the results of hypothesis testing where employees reveal the existence of political behavior and work stress is high enough accompanied by the level of affective commitment and job satisfaction which is low so that it gives the impact on the high desire to get out of work. Other results indicate that organizational support can be perceived by employees so that moderation testing that is conducted get support that the desire to get out of work tends to decrease when they perceive organizational support at low levels of affective commitment and the employees’ desire to get out of work tends to decrease when they perceive organizational support at the high level of work stress.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of corporate governance’s mechanism to firm value which is proxied by Tobin’s Q. This mechanism is divided into two, internal mechanism which is proxied by board of director and audit committee and external mechanism which is  proxied by institutional ownership. This study is using control variables such as firm size, financial leverage and industrial sector.Sample used in this study are 40 companies which incorporated in several industrial sector in Indonesia which are listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2011-2015. Hypothesis testing in this study is using multiple regression analysis.The result of this study shows that board of director has positive but insignificant effect to firm value in Indonesia, audit committee has positive and significant effect to firm value in Indonesia and institutional ownership has negative but insignificant effect to firm value in Indonesia. The control variables used in this study provide mixed results, where firm size has negative and insignificant effect to firm value, financial leverage has positive and significant effect to firm value and the whole industrial sector in Indonesia has no effect to firm value. From simultaneous test, this study shows that simultaneously independent variables significantly affect to firm value.

Abstract

This study aimed to see whether there is an influence between macro-economic variables include changes of USD / IDR exchange rate, change of CNY / IDR exchange rate, inflation change, change of WTI crude oil and change of ICP crude oil to return of sectoral indices, represented by return of consumption index stock, return of financial index stock, return of infrastructure index stock and return of trade and service index stock. In addition, this study also tested whether there is a causal relationship of one or two directions of endogenous variables. Period in this study began from July 2009 - December 2017 (102 months). The Hypothesis testing of this study use Vector Autoregressive (VAR) method with Eviews 9 software.The result of the research concludes that the change of USD / IDR exchange rate have a significant negative effect on return of consumption index stock, return of financial index stock, return of infrastructure index stock and return of trade and services index stock. Changes of the CNY / IDR exchange rate have a significant negative effect on return of consumption index stock and return of financial index stock. Inflationary change have a significant negative effect on return of financial index stock and return of trade & service index stock. The change of crude oil WTI and ICP crude oil have no significant effect on all sectors. In the Granger causality test, it is found that the return of trade and services index stock has one way causality relationship to the return of infrastructure index stock.

Abstract

Inovasi pada UKM (Usaha Kecil Menengah) kerajinan seni gerabah di Kasongan Kabupaten Bantul tentu dapat meningkatkan dari segi kinerja bisnis UKM. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja bisnis yaitu variabel orientasi pelanggan, variabel orientasi pesaing, variabel orientasi teknologi dan variabel inovasi sebagai intervening. Berangkat dari permasalahan penelitian yaitu bagaimana meningkatkan kinerja bisnis melalui inovasi dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi inovasi yaitu orientasi pelanggan, orientasi pesaing dan orientasi teknologi.Sampel penelitian berjumlah 130 responden terdapat 10 responden tidak bersedia untuk mengembalikan kuisioner yang sudah di jawab dengan batas waktu ketentuan pengembalian dari peneliti. Maka penelitian ini menghasilkan responden ahir sebanyak 120 responden akan tetapi terdapat beberapa kuisioner yang tidak terjawab sepenuhnya. Sehingga hasil ahir yang dapat di analisis sebanyak 110 responden. Penentuan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling, dimana purposive sampling adalah teknik pengambilan sampel sumber data dengan pertimbangan tertentu. Responden pada penelitian ini adalah pemilik UKM kerajinan seni gerabah diKasongan Kabupaten Bantul.Alat yang digunakan untuk menganalisis adalah Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Hasil penelitian ini terdapat empat hipotesis diteriama dari ketujuh hipotesis penelitian. Adapun faktor-faktor yang signifikan memengaruhi inovasi yaitu orientasi pesaing dan orientasi teknologi dan faktor yang mempengaruhi secara langsung signifikan terhadap kinerja bisnis yaitu inovasi dan orientasi teknologi.

Abstract

This research was aimed to analyze the influence of capabilities organization and entrepreneurship to increase business performance that can be moderated by competitive advantage, which is focused on goodness of taste, for restaurants in Semarang. Based on pre – survey in 20 owners of restaurant, it can be concluded that there was decreasing income about 22% (Rp 335.000,00) and was followed by decreasing of market share about 0,56%  during 3 months.  It was interesting because the restaurants are one of SME that many people interested in it. In other hand, many people work in this sector as their main job.The samples of this research are the restaurants that include in SME, which employ 5 – 19 employees. This research used 150 respondents, but only 124 respondents who fulfill the requirement. The data were collected by using questionnaires and direct interviews to the owners of restaurants in Semarang. This research proves 5 (five) hypothesis that were built by capabilities organization, entrepreneurship, competitive advantage in goodness of taste, and business performance. The results was analyzed by AMOS. It can be concluded that the model is feasible. The results of this study indicate that the business performance can be increased directly by a good management of capabilities organization and indirectly can be reached by focusing to maintain the resources. It because the restaurants that include as SME have  a limit resource.
