Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Guided Note Taking learning model on the learning outcomes of biology students in class XI of SMA N 6 Lubuklinggau in the academic year 2017/2018. The design applied in this research is pretest-posttest control group design. The research sample was obtained using a random sampling technique. Namely students of class XI.IPA.4 as a control class and class XI.IPA.3 as an experimental class. To obtain student learning outcomes after treatment, a multiple choice test is used with a total of 26 items. The results of student learning data obtained through tests were analyzed using t-tests. The results of the t-test analysis showed that t-count> t-table (4.01> 1.68), it could be interpreted that the average value of the experimental class was greater than the average value of the control class. It can be concluded that the Guided Note Taking learning model influences the biology learning outcomes of Grade XI students of SMA Negeri 6 Lubuklinggau. Suggestions for improving student biology learning outcomes, teachers should innovate learning and apply active learning models. Keywords: learning outcomes, biology, guided note taking, models

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement in biology learning outcomes of class X students of SMA 7 Lubuklinggau by applying the student facilitator and explaining learning model. This research is Classroom Action Research (CAR), which is a study consisting of 2 cycles where each cycle consists of four steps: planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. Data collection was carried out with the teacher activity observation sheet and the daily test sheet. The subjects of this study were 38 students of class X in SMA Negeri 7 Lubuklinggau. From the research results it is known that by applying the student facilitator and explaining learning model, students who reach KKM from 52.88% in the first cycle to 86.21% in the second cycle. Based on the analysis of these data it can be concluded that by applying the learning facilitator and explaining learning model the quality of learning in Biology subjects in class X SMA Negeri 7 Lubuklinggau increases. The magnitude of the increase in student learning outcomes in class X SMA Negeri 7 Lubuklinggau on biology learning using the student facilitator and explaining learning model by 33.33%. Conclusion, an increase in biology learning outcomes of class X students of SMA Negeri 7 Lubuklinggau by applying the student facilitator and explaining learning model. Abstract

Research this aim to know nutritional proximate analysis of okara noodle products that have the potential to add protein values and dietary fiber to noodles and whether this research can be used as a source of biochemistry learning resources. The initial stage of this research is the flouring okara followed by making wet noodle okara and analyze the nutritional content characterized by the high content of fiber and protein than wheat flour. The results showed that the nutritional value of wet noodles with okara flour substitution had 6.7% protein, ash 0.27%, water 66%, carbohydrate 26%, fat 0.5%, and fiber 2.4%. The content of okara noodle fiber is able to meet the sufficiency of fiber consumption recommended by United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) amount 25 - 30g for a day . Substitution of okara flour can significantly increase the value of protein and dietary fiber in wet noodles. Abstract

This study aims to identify the Pteridophyta Division in the Lake Aur Area of ​​Musi Rawas Regency. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. This research was made in 3 plots with size 10 m x 10 m. Based on the result of identification research of Pteridophyta division in Aur Aurland area there are 5 orders, 9 families, 12 genus and 19 species Pteris biaurita, Ploecnemia irregular, Diplazium esculentum, Asplenium nidus, Gleichenia linearis, Christella dentata, Stenochlaena palastris, Diplazium esculentum, Davallia denticulata, Gleichenia linearis, Lygodium scandens, Lygodium circinatum, Nephrolepis exaltata, Nephrolepis cordifoli, Nephrolepis biserrata, Phymatosorus scolopendria, Selaginella wildenowii , Selaginella caudata and Selaginella plana with soil temperature in Aur Aur Area Musi Rawas Regency ranges 27,5˚C-31,5˚C with degree of acidity (pH) of land ranged from 5,11-6,18. Abstract

This study aims to see the effect of the Cooperative Script model on the activities and learning outcomes of biology students of class VIII of SMP Negeri 7 Lubuklinggau. Data collection techniques for learning outcomes use test techniques, while learning activity data use observation techniques. The average value of students for classes taught by Cooperative Script models is 70.11, while for classes taught using conventional learning is 64.22. The collected data were analyzed using t-test at a significant level α = 0.05 then obtained (2.45)> (1.67), there was an effect of the Cooperative Script model on biology learning outcomes of Grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 7 Lubuklinggau. The results of observations of the learning activities of the first meeting obtained an average value of 75.33% with enough categories and the results of observations of the learning activities of the second meetings obtained an average value of 75.94% with enough categories, which means biology learning activities for VIII grade students of SMP Negeri 7 Lubuklinggau is further improved after being treated using the Cooperative Script model. In conclusion, the cooperative script model has a statistically significant effect on increasing the activities and learning outcomes of biology students in grade VIII of SMP Negeri 7 Lubuklinggau. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of interest and learning methods of Word Square Student Worksheet (LKS) on the learning outcomes of Biology Science VII grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Jayapura. The study population was all grade VII students of SMP Negeri 2 Jayapura. The sample of this study were students of class VIIJ, VIIK, and VIIL which were divided into 4 classes. Data analysis used prerequisite tests with parametric analysis paths with normality testing, homogeneity testing, and interest questionnaire variable data. Whereas hypothesis testing uses two-way anava. The results showed (1) There is an influence of interest arising from within students on learning outcomes achieved in the learning process with the results of the calculation of the variable high interest on average 74.87 and the variable low interest on average 65.04. (2) There is an influence on the average learning outcomes of Biology Science in students taught using the Word Square Model Student Worksheet (LKS) than students taught using the lecture method to students who have high interest results Fcount = 2,967> Ftable = 2.46. (3) There is a difference in the average effect of learning outcomes in Biology Natural Sciences in students taught using the Word Square Model Student Worksheet (LKS) than students taught using the lecture method to students who have low interest results Fcount = 2.952> Ftable = 2.46. (4) There is a very significant influence between the learning method and the interest or the effect of the method on the learning outcomes of Natural Sciences in Biology depending on the students' interest. Abstract

This study aims to see the effect of roasting time on organoleptic tests of banjarnegara zalacca coffee beans (Salacca zalacca var zalacca). The effect of the treatment was determined using the Completely Randomized Design (CRD) method which consisted of six treatments and three replications. The treatments are P0 namely control, P1 with a roasting time of 40 minutes, P2 with a roasting time of 50 minutes, P3 with a roasting time of 60 minutes, P4 with a roasting time of 70 minutes and P5 with a roasting time of 80 minutes. Based on the one way anova test with a significant level of 5%, it showed significant results, namely F-count (6.42)> F-table (3.68), followed by LSD test which obtained significantly different results in the P3 treatment (60 minutes) with BNT number 2.67. The best roasting time for zalacca coffee in P3 treatment with 60 minutes roasting time which has dark brown color criteria, very fragrant aroma, smooth texture, bitter taste, and very acceptability. The results showed that the higher the quality of zalacca coffee the higher the people's acceptance of zalacca coffee. Keywords: salak banjarnegara seeds, roasting, organoleptic

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of inquiry learning models on the learning outcomes of biology students in class X SMA Negeri 6 Lubuklinggau. This type of research is quantitative research with experimental research methods. The population used was all students of class X SMA Negeri 6 Lubuklinggau, which consisted of 213 students and a sample of researchers, namely class X.1 for the experimental class and class X.2 for the control class. Data collection using tests. The data obtained were analyzed using t-test. From the research that has been done, it is obtained the post-test data of the experimental class and the control class with α = 0.05 obtained t-count = 4.06 and t-table = 1.67, because t-count> t-table, means the average score for the experimental class is higher than the control class, so it can be concluded that the inquiry learning model is effective for learning biology in class X students of SMA Negeri 6 Lubuklinggau. Abstract

The aims of this study are to develop a Science Process Skills Based Module (KPS) on Cell-Level Life Organization Materials for Grade VII Students of SMP Kristen 2 Salatiga. This research is a research development (R & D) with an F-D development model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate), but in this study it does not cover the entire stages in the F-D development model, namely the disseminate stage because of the limitations of the time the research was conducted. The instruments in this study were interview sheets, validation sheets, and student response sheets. The results of module development research according to the expert validity test 3.1, test pedagogical validity 3.15, test the validity of practitioner experts 3.08, and limited field testing 3.37, from the overall data obtained shows that the average module values ​​above 3.00 and is categorized as "A " that is very good. Modules with the category "A" are feasible to use in class VII students in the learning process. Keywords: module, science process skills (KPS)

Abstract

The research aims at (1) finding the diversity index (H') of bushes vegetation stratum, and (2) abiotic environment factors at Cogong hill. This research used plotless method with Point Centered Quarter Method by classifying into three scopes, namely, research scope A, B and C with 10 items each. Based on the result, the diversity index average (H') of bushes vegetation stratum at Cogong hill in research scope A was 2,13; scope B was 1,77 and scope C was 1,61. The air temperature at Cogong hill was between 28,30C-300C, the air humidity was between 86 % - 93 %, the soil temperature was between 27,30C-29,60C, the soil humidity was between 8% - 17 % and the soil scale of acidity (pH) was between 6,3-6,7. In conclusion, the average of H' in scope A, B, and C was in medium-abundant category. Keywords : diversity , bushes stratum, protected forests, cogong hill
