Abstract

White blood cells, have a function to protect human body from viruses, bacteria and any other harmful substance. In this research, Local Binary Pattern was proposed for feature extraction using Euclidean distance, Chebyshev distance and Minkowski distance as classifier.

Abstract

Face detection is one of the most important preprocessing steps in facial recognition systems used in biometric identification. Face detection is used to determine the location, size and number of faces in an image or video in various positions and backgrounds. One method used in face detection systems is segmentation based on skin color. In this study YCbCr skin color segmentation method and morphological operations were used. Based on the results of experiments conducted on 38 images, the system obtained an accuracy of 63.15%

Abstract

Food mobile traders, especially in the city of Bandung, are currently experiencing difficulties in obtaining permanent buyers and customers. 86 % traders interviewed felt that their income was increasingly decreasing due to the many buyers using online applications. The traders difficult to get buyers and it was difficult to determine the direction of his destination when trading around. Likewise, buyers who want to buy free merchandise find it difficult because they do not know the schedule of the traveling merchants and are not aware of the traders themselves. In this case, the traveling food traders and buyers need an application container that can facilitate the transaction process. Based on the results of alpha and beta tests that have been carried out at the implementation and testing stages, it can be concluded that the development of smart applications recommended by mobile food traders using push notification and location-based service based on android can make it easier for mobile traders to get buyers, and buyers are facilitated in knowing the position of the nearest traveling merchant

Abstract

One of the factors driving technological development is the increase in computers ability to complete various jobs. One of them is doing image processing, which is widely used in our daily life, such as the use of fingerprints, face/iris recognition barcodes, medical needs, and various other uses. Classification is one of the applications of image processing that is used the most. One algorithm that can be used for the development of image classification systems is Linear Discriminant Analysis (LDA) and Support Vector Machine (SVM). LDA is a feature extraction algorithm to find a subspace that separates classes well. SVM is a classification algorithm, based on the idea of finding a hyperplane that best divides a dataset into classes. In this study, LDA and SVM algorithms were tested on the dog and cat classification system, with the highest F-score calculation results being 0.69 with 200 training data and 50 testing data for cats and 0.64 with 200 training data and 30 testing data for dogs.

Abstract

PT Golden Malabar Indonesia adalah salah satu perusahaan pengolah biji kopi yang menghasilkan berbagai jenis kopi olahan (varian), yaitu: wet hull, dry hull, honey, natural dan luwak. Perusahaan ini juga menjual biji kopi olahan, yaitu: green bean, roasted bean medium, roasted bean dark, ground, dan lainnya. Perkembangan perusahaan menunjukkan permintaan konsumen yang semakin tinggi, baik dari sisi jumlah maupun varian, sehingga memunculkan masalah dalam pencampuran varian kopi, yaitu campuran tersebut belum bisa didata dalam sistem informasi penjualan di perusahaan, termasuk catatan transaksi, stok barang, dan pencetakan laporan. Untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan tersebut diperlukan suatu sistem yang memberikan informasi penjualan, dan sistem dibangun dengan menggunakan model Object Oriented untuk memperlihatkan seluruh proses bisnis yang terjadi. Pola yang telah digambarkan dan data dari hasil analisis ini kemudian disusun menjadi suatu aplikasi transaksi jual beli kopi. Hasil perancangan ini merupakan sebuah aplikasi yang dapat menyampaikan dan mengolah informasi penjualan di Perusahaan khususnya dalam proses penyimpanan data pencampuran, selain itu aplikasi ini juga mampu memperbaiki sistem transaksi, keadaan stok barang, dan pencetakan laporan.

Abstract

Forex or Foreign Exchange is trading a country's currency with another country's currency. The purpose of this study is basically to test the accuracy of ARIMA on the GBP/USD currency pair. In addition, this research is expected to provide the benefits of knowledge about forecasting using ARIMA. This study resulted in forecasting the GBP/USD currency pair within 1 month, per 6 months from January 2018 to June 2018 using the ARIMA method and R software. Data to be used are data taken from January 2013 to June 2018. For the the process will follow the process of the KDD (Knowledge Discovery in Database). The results obtained by the ARIMA model (3,2,1) as the best model to be applied for 1 month per 6 months on the GBP/USD currency pair because it has the lowest AIC value and the mean absolute percentage error is 3.16%.

Abstract

Stock investment is important for financial development in a company. Moreover, the stock price displayed by the company can be known by the people and the local economy because the company has gone public on the Indonesia Economic Exchange (IDX) at www.idx.co.id. There are several fundamental factors that influence the stock market price in a listed company and as a result the number of stock investors in Indonesia is very small. This cause made it difficult for the community to predict the stock price of banking companies at inconsistent prices. The method to be used in this paper is Linear Regression using Excel tools to perform calculations and SPSS 16.0 as a data mining tool. The research data taken is historical data of banking companies for 3 periods as a whole in the form of excel that has been downloaded from the Yahoo Finance website. The final results are in the form of MAPE charts in 3 years period, and Average error chart in 3 years period.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to test the usability of Wadaya application prototype using usability testing method adopting ISO 9241: 11 standard. Wadaya application prototype will be tested using three usability concepts namely effectiveness, efficiency, and user satisfaction. In this research, testing will be done twice with 20 respondents. The first prototype test result shows that (1) Wadaya application prototype is still not effective seen from mistakes made by respondents when during the execution of the task. The results showed 53.57%. (2) Wadaya application prototype is not efficient seen from the result of 44% Overall Relative Efficiency. (3) Wadaya application prototype has not fulfilled user satisfaction seen from 59,00 SUS score. The second prototype test results show that (1) Wadaya application second prototype is still not effective seen from mistakes made by respondents when during the execution of the task. The results showed 19,17% for the beginner group and 25,00% for the advance group. (2) Wadaya application second prototype is not efficient seen from the result of 74% Overall Relative Efficiency. (3)Wadaya application second prototype has fulfilled the user satisfaction seen from SUS score of 69,00 which is stated have satisfied when compared with SUS standard that is 68.
