Abstract

This study explains how the strategy communication carried out by Pos Indonesia in the socialization of PosAja's rebranding. The socialization conducted through social media Instagram, this research was conducted because of the importance of socialization to build brand awareness from the public for PosAja. This research was carried out with qualitative approach, using the case study method. The data collection used is observation and interviews to obtain the results studied. Researchers will analyze strategies communication uses four stages. Getting to know the audience, compiling messages, establishing methods, and evaluation of communication. The results of this study indicate that the effective communication strategy running according to the four stages can be said to be appropriate. But the results on the evaluation that the socialization carried out still feels lacking and needs to improve how internal operating system that is done by the IT division. This needs to be done so that the products being developed is currently running according to the company's wishes, namely the wider community knows products from Pos Indonesia and the community uses the service in accordance with the vision and mission PosAja, which is to make those users a friend to a reliable friend in delivering goods to their destination.

Abstract

Being a konten kreator has its own challenges because every day you must update the ideas and concepts of the content that will be presented. It's not uncommon to choose shortcuts by using sensations to get the audience's attention. Konten kreator is a profession that has emerged as a developing technology product. Anyone can become a konten kreator; the problem then is how the konten kreator can communicate messages to the public properly. There needs to be a strategy implemented so that uploaded content can have a positive impact on increasing the number of engagement or follower accounts on social media. This article will focus on examining communication strategies to become a good konten kreator using Ningsih Tinampi's Youtube content as a case study. This research was conducted using a qualitative approach with semiotic analysis methods, then to test the validity of this research. Then the research team will use data triangulation. The results of the study show that a verbal and non-verbal approach with character needs to be owned by a konten kreator. In addition, Ningsih Tinampi's communicator credibility is Terminal credibility, which is a combination of derived and initial that complement each other. This is a combination of forms of verbal and non-verbal communication messages that have been successfully shown in every YouTube content.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the system-level communication network and actors on the “Terawan” link and to find out public opinion about this phenomenon and how the IDI organization reacts in responding to public opinion. By using the theory of Computer Mediated Communication (CMC). The method used in this research is a quantitative approach with the method of Social Network Analysis with Netlytic and Gephi and content analysis. The population used in this study are active Twitter users, with a maximum sample of 2500 obtained from Netlytic. The results showed that this network has 1969 Nodes and 1991 Edges, with 5 large clusters in this network. This network has a value of Diameter 19, Destiny 0.000604, Reciprocity 0.011160, Centralization 0.107200 and Modularity 0.810800. The most influential actor in this network is @heraloebs with a Degree Centrality value of 391 and an Eigenvector Centrality value of 1.0. Therefore, this network includes a network that is widespread in the distribution of information, with influential actors in the distribution of information such as @heraloebss. Abstract

This study aims to contribute to changes in an organizational culture that is influenced by certain factors, such as in this study, namely because of the era of technological disruption and its changes towards digitalization, this research is a descriptive qualitative research with direct observation and in-depth interviews. and carried out within one year from September 1, 2020 to October 31, 2021 at PT Strategic Partner Solution. This research is a phenomenological research and uses Kurt Lewin's model (unfreezing, change and refreezing), and based on the results of this study indicate that the unfreezing process is a process of acceptance of changes that will be made to an organizational culture by all its members, then in the process of change. for implementation carried out by all members of the organization by carrying out their duties and obligations as well as being ambitious in the change process, and the last is the process of refreezing or integrating attitudes and behavior towards a new culture, of course the role of management is very important to provide support for every process of transformation carried out to enlarge opportunities for success in creating a new organizational culture.

Abstract

Content on social media spreads almost unstoppably, both positive and negative. Due to its virtual nature as well as the fading culture of politeness in society, it can now be seen that uploads or comments in it tend to display harsh and even obscene words called verbal violence. This study aims to determine the form of language used in social media and comments on posts on Twitter social media. This research method uses a qualitative descriptive method. The source of research data comes from social media Twitter, while the data is in the form of uploads and comments on verbal violence on Twitter. The data collection technique uses documentation techniques. Data analysis used qualitative analysis techniques and techniques for checking the validity of the data which was carried out by checking the persistence of observation and checking techniques. The results showed that the form of language used in Twitter sentences has accuracy, clarity, and straightforwardness. While comments on posts on Twitter in the form of verbal violence include: insults, swearing, hyperbole, dysphemism, stigmatization, and associations in animals. The verbal violence on Twitter shows that the Indonesian people do not care about the polite language culture, so that it becomes input for the government and community leaders to find a complete solution in overcoming this quite worrying problem.

Abstract

This research is a scientific analysis of media which is closely related to social practices that occur in society as well as representation of gender identities in digital media. This research was conducted to determine the discourse of self disclosure, physical and appearance performativity, homosexual talk performativity, and sexual activity performativity displayed by lesbian (andro) on her new media accounts (Tik Tok) and how Tik Tok is interpreted as a medium of resistance lesbians today. By using a qualitative research methodology, this study puts itself in a digital ethnographic approach. The data collected in this digital ethnographic study is in the form of in-depth and comprehensive observations of 227 video content uploaded by creators, making transcripts on each content then categorized, and conducting analysis in accordance with research objectives. Through audio-visual that legitimize their performativeness, from here, their identity is formed, reshaped, displayed, and conveyed to the mass audience through self-disclosure. Thus, this actualization event leads to resistance. The body is not only understood as a plate on which sexuality and gender are formed, but gender and sexuality itself are labeled into the body. Identity, then, is formed performatively through discourse. Gender identity is an effect produced by individuals because it displays gender act practices.

Abstract

Muhammadiyah is one of the largest Islamic organizations in the world. In the midst of the development of social media, YouTube has become one of the choices for Muhammadiyah's da’wah media. SketsaMu is one of the da'wah video rubrics on the Muhammadiyah YouTube Channel (Muhammadiyah's official YouTube). This research focuses on the management of YouTube content production in the SketsaMu rubric. This study uses the concept of Eli M Noam about the key factors for the success of media production, there are, risk reduction, product development and organizational structure. This research use case study with qualitative research method. Data collection uses interviews, observations and documentation. This study found that the first concept of reduction is by adjusting the target audience and distributing the platform. The second concept is in the product development process, namely by writing, editing, revising and developing programs. The last factor of the organization is still not implemented optimally, all production processes to distribution are still carried out by one team, so the workload becomes a lot.

Abstract

A speech reflects the power and ideology of the communicator when it is delivered. It also has the representation of the social and political situation at the time it is delivered. The speech is about the successful handling of the Covid-19 Pandemic and the initial success of economic recovery among ASEAN countries. This research intends to open a new understanding of a speech discourse. A speech discourse can carry many meanings that are packaged in the representation of the power and ideology of the communicator. Having the ability to read the meaning behind a speech is an advance in building a civil society. The representation were analyzed through three level of analysis of critical discourse analysis. The first is to analyze text with features associated with the text as-a-whole, the second is to analyze text with features related to text at the sentence level and word level, and the third is to analyze the findings through contextual interpretation. The result of this speech analysis shows that Jokowi’s speech has represented the power of Indonesia as the next leader of ASEAN Chair in 2023 and the ideology of Indonesia to develop together with other Southeast Asia countries in ASEAN.

Abstract

At present the global influence in the spread of culture is increasingly visible due to various factors. Supporting factors such as social media and mass media. In the development of the phenomenon of K-Pop (Korean Pop) or the wave of the Korean Wave in Indonesia, this has led to the emergence of many communities of lovers of K-Pop artists, especially for teenagers, of course many have formed a community so that they can share information or knowledge about the Korean Wave. Korean pop culture is highly accepted by teenage fan groups in the city of Surabaya. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of role models and the expression of idolization of Korean pop culture on adolescent attitudes in the city of Surabaya. The theory used is Korean pop culture which consists of Role Models and Expression of Idoltation. Besides that, it also uses the theory of adolescent attitudes. The research method used in this research is quantitative. With data collection techniques through the distribution of questionnaires/questionnaires. The results of this study show the results of multiple linear regression analysis, the dimension of Korean pop culture that has the greatest influence on adolescent attitudes in the city of Surabaya is role mode with an overall indicator mean of 2.95. Then the results of the hypothesis test show that the influence given by Korean pop content culture on adolescent attitudes in the city of Surabaya has an influence of 81%.

Abstract

The phenomenon of sadfishing has created a new trend for social media users in Indonesia, where each user seems to have an urge to show his sadness in order to attract sympathy from many people on social media. The act of sadfishing has an impact on the mental health of the perpetrators, including children and adolescents. Lots of Sadfishing content seems to be a common reaction for someone who is going through a difficult time or pretending to be having a difficult time to get viral on social media. This study aims to explain how  to  digital literacy for social media users can change public opinion in limiting themselves from the sadfishing phenomenon on social media. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative, with a case study method and data collection techniques by interviewing several high school students and university students in Jakarta. The results of the study found that the audience is in the position of The Dominant-Hegemonic Position or the audience is in a position to accept that digital literacy is able to educate and change the opinions of social media users, especially among teenagers to avoid the phenomenon of provoking sadness on social media.
