Abstract

In epidemiology, the search for new behavior of infectious agents, processes, andmechanisms of diffusion of infection of emerging infectious diseases caused by global warminghas already led to tangible results. This paper proposes a dynamic endemic model Susceptible,Exposed, Precontaged, Infected, Retired, Susceptible (SEPIRS). This model is specialized in epidemics that persist for a long time and in cases where the infection spreads directly: first betweenpre-contagious individuals (asymptomatic) and susceptible individuals, second between infectiousindividuals (symptomatic) and susceptible individuals. This model characterizes the individual recovering from infection to develop a temporary immunity and then become susceptible againafter some time.

Abstract

The present article study and explore on Rongmei tribe of Manipur. Particularly, it has chosen on Noney (Longmai) area, which is inhabited by Rongmei people. All the villagers are committed and worship to God as Baptist is the major denomination. So these make a commitment of an individual. The findings suggest that commitment of a male individual is religious life for them which will relate to belief and private religious practice. The method analyse here in this paper is linear regression and reliability scale. These include model summary, ANOVA, Residual statistics in linear regression and item statistics in scale reliability. Belief and private religious practice will be commitment of an individual when R square change, F change, sig. F change, mean square, F, sig, standard deviation, Range, maximum/minimum, variance is less than alpha value (0.05) or near to zero (1). This relation to alpha value will support to religious life commitment through belief and private religious practice. The questionnaires refer to BMMRS multidimensionality develops by Fetzer Institute (1999).

Abstract

The recent recovery of Gyrinops walla as a potential producer of market-quality agarwood in mature damaged woods and branches, the intense illicit felling and exportation walla leading to the verge of extinction from Sri Lankan flora. The sustainable utilization of G. walla undoubtedly enhances the foreign exchange of the country by tissue culture-based techniques for the sustainable exploitation and conservation of the vulnerable G. walla species. Partial Least Square Structural Equation Model (PLS-SEM) was developed to elucidate the causal relationships between the latent variables; the cultured materials (CULTM), type of elicitation (ELI), concentration/intensities of the elicitors (CON), time of incubation (INCB) with the occurrence of sesquiterpenes (SES). The path coefficients of the PLS-SEM model showed direct effects of CULTM -> SES (β = -0.509, t = 6.468, p < 0.05) (hypothesis - H3), INCB -> SES (β = 0.421, t = 5.037, p < 0.05) (hypothesis - H1) and ELI + CON -> SES (β = -0.282, t = 5.792, p < 0.05) (hypothesis-H6) on induction of the production of sesquiterpenes. The PLS-SEM model developed the study proved the applicability in exploring the causal relationships between the deterministic factors that effect on artificial elicitation in the production of sesquiterpenes.
