Abstract

Abstrak Ketersediaan jamban merupakan masalah kesehatan lingkungan di Desa Buluh Cina Kabupaten Kampar, dari 1620 jiwa, 312 jiwa tidak memiliki jamban keluarga sebagai alat buang air besar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pelaksanaan Stop Buang Air Besar Sembarangan di Kelurahan Buluh Cina Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Pangkalan Baru Kabupaten Kampar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan wawancara mendalam, observasi dan telaah dokumen. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling dengan informan sebanyak 9 responden. Hasil penelitian adalah Puskesmas memiliki kebijakan penghentian BABS, SDM belum mencukupi, biaya operasional penghentian BABS masih terbatas, cara-cara yang digunakan dalam penghentian BAB telah sesuai dengan petunjuk teknis, tahap perencanaan atau pra pemicuan sudah berjalan, namun belum mengimplementasikan semua indikator, pelaksanaan atau tahap pemicuan dan pemantauan sudah berjalan sesuai dengan petunjuk teknis. Dapat disimpulkan pelaksanaan kegiatan stop buang air besar sembarangan di Desa Buluh Cina telah dilaksanakan, sesuai dengan Petunjuk Teknis Pemicu dan Peraturan Menteri Kesehatan RI Nomor 3 Tahun 2014. Abstract

This study aims to determine the electrolyte characteristics of pineapple skin pulp which is used for the manufacture of electrolytes in bio-batteries as an alternative energy source. The electrodes used are zinc (Zn) and copper (Cu). The parameters measured are voltage, current strength and the length of the LED lamp flame. The variations used are pure pineapple peel pulp, pineapple peel pulp with the addition of NaCl, KCl, MgCl2 salts with mass variations of 0.25, 0.50, 0.75, 1, 1.25 and 1.50 grams. The results of the research of pineapple skin paste added with salt produced a voltage from 2.684 volts - 3.923 volts, a strong current from 0.52 mA - 0.79 mA and an LED lamp flame from 2 hours - 15 hours. The voltage value on pure pineapple 2,517 volts with the addition of MgCl2 experienced an increase in voltage of 52.82%, the voltage value with the addition of NaCl increased by 55.83% and the voltage value with the addition of KCl increased by 58.84%. The strong current value in pure pineapple 0.50 mA with the addition of MgCl2 experienced an increase in current strength of 52.76%, the strong value of current with the addition of NaCl increased by 56.01% and the strong value of current with the addition of KCl increased by 58.96%. The length of flame of LED lamps produced in the addition of MgCl2, NaCl and KCl was 71.27%, 84.33%, and 87.75% experienced an increase in time from the pulp of pure pineapple skin.The results showed that the greater the addition of salt mass to the pulp of pineapple skin, the greater the result of voltage, strong current and flame of the LED lamp on the electrolyte. Testing pineapple skin pulp can produce electrical energy that can be used as electrolyte manufacturing.

Abstract

Free radicals can weaken the function of cell membranes and endoplasmic reticulum and destroy cells at the DNA molecular level. The human body needs antioxidants to stabilize the number of free radicals in the body. Natural antioxidants found in plants include vitamins, phenols, flavonoids, and carotenoids. Sappan wood is a herbal plant that has antioxidant properties. The antioxidant compounds contained in sappan wood are phenolic compounds, resorcinins, brazilein, gallic acid, flavonoids, saponins, terpenoids, and tannins. The method used is a literature study which is reviewed one by one, after which the journals obtained are collected and the information is compiled by summarizing the contents of the journals used as sources. From the processed data, sappan wood has an antioxidant activity which can be seen from the In Vitro test with the IC50 value and the In Vivo test on rats. Sappan wood is used as a cosmetic ingredient in the form of essence and hair tonic. Apart from that, it is also used as an ingredient in the manufacture of drinks and food because sappan wood has high antioxidants.

Abstract

Belimbing wuluh is a tropical tree that grows as a wild tree or planted because it contains many benefits. Belimbing wuluh is useful as traditional medicine and has secondary metabolite compounds such as tannins, flavonoids and saponins that function as insecticides. This study aims to determine the potential of Belimbng wuluh leaf extract as a natural insecticide against Fall armyworm (S. frugiperda) and to determine the concentration that can kill 50% of Fall armyworms (LC50). The method used for this research is a completely randomized design (CRD), Belimbing wuluh leaf extract made by maceration method. The concentration of the extract used was 0%, 60%, 80%, and 100%. The test larvae used were 40 tails. The parameters observed were mortality and speed of death. The result of this study showed that the number of Fall armyworm deaths was 66 from the total number of 120 larvae. This proves that Belimbing wuluh leaf extract has the potential as a natural insecticide against Fall armyworm (S. frugiperda). Based on probit analysis the effective concentration to kill 50% of Fall armyworm larvae was 59,9%. Abstract

Stunting shows failure of linear growth and caused by lack of nutritional intake and infection before and after birth. The fathers role in parenting is related to the nutritional status of toddlers. This study aims to prove the influence of father involvement education using video on father's knowledge and involvement in stunting children prevention. It was an analytic study with a quasy experiment design. The study population was all fathers who had the youngest children aged 6-23 months in the Kulon Progo Regency area, Yogyakarta. Data collection with questionarre, analyzed by T Test. The educating using video was really able to increase father's knowledge about stunting prevention in children (p= 0,000). There is an influence of education using video on father's knowledge (p= 0,000), and involvement in stunting prevention in children (p= 0.000). Conclusion: The education using video was increases father’s knowledge and involvement in children stunting prevention.

Abstract

The efforts to eradicate Diseases Control for Acute Respiratory Infection (DC-ARI) Program's in toddlers, namely the need for steps to carry out promotion of Acute Respiratory Infection (ARI) prevention, find patients, carry out standard management of patients with early detection, appropriate and immediate treatment, and carry out supervision and control of morbidity and mortality due to ARI. The purpose of this study was to determine the incidence of acute respiratory infection (ARI) in toddlers at the Pusako Health Center Work Area, Siak Regency. The research method is qualitative with Rapid Assessment Procedure design, interviews were conducted using purposive sampling technique and observation of service implementation and recording of DC-ARI program report. The results showed that the DC-ARI program was still not optimal because the program holders had not received training, and due to the covid-19 pandemic, health workers were unable to pick up the ball to handle ARI in toddlers, lack of synergy from the community and public figure to participate in reducing ARI cases in toddlers at the Pusako Health Center. It can be concluded that there needs to be a plan made by the person in charge of DC-ARI so that the target of ARI in toddlers is decreased, there must be continuity and public awareness of the importance of knowing ARI disease in toddlers through counseling and socialization provided by the health promotion so that DC-ARI activities can be optimal.

Abstract

Pada penelitian ini telah dilakukan ekstraksi, fraksinasi, dan uji antioksidan daun pakis sawit (Davallia denticulata). Metode ekstraksi daun pakis sawit dilakukan secara maserasi menggunakan pelarut etanol dan fraksinasi dilakukan sebanyak tiga fraksi yaitu fraksi etanol, etil asetat dan n-heksan. Kemudian dilakukan uji fitokimia dari ekstrak dan fraksi daun pakis sawit yang didapat. Ekstrak etanol menunjukkan adanya senyawa flavonoid, saponin, tanin, triterpenoid dan steroid, pada fraksi n-heksan menunjukkan adanya senyawa flavonoid dan fenolik, fraksi etil asetat menunjukkan adanya senyawa flavonoid, tanin dan fenolik, dan pada fraksi etanol menunjukkan adanya senyawa flavonoid, saponin, tanin, triterpenoid dan steroid. Pengujian aktivitas antioksidan ekstrak etanol menunjukkan nilai IC50 1,406 μg/mL, fraksi n-heksan menunjukkan nilai IC50 2,91 μg/mL, fraksi etil asetat menunjukkan nilai IC50 103 μg/mL, fraksi etanol menunjukkan nilai IC50 18,99 μg/mL, dan vitamin C sebagai pembanding menunjukkan nilai IC50 2,22 μg/mL. Berdasarkan perbandingan dengan vitamin C dapat diketahui bahwa terdapat aktivitas antioksidan yang sangat kuat pada ekstrak etanol dan aktivitas sedang pada fraksi etil asetat.

Abstract

Some patients who visit the Emergency Department (IGD) are not in an emergency condition, one way to sort it out is by triage. There are still many hospitals that are not appropriate in implementing triage, increasing the risk of death and disability of emergency patients. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors related to the accuracy of the implementation of modern triage CTAS. This research was conducted at the IGD of Bengkalis Regional Hospital. The total population is 20 emergency room nurses, with sampling using the total sampling technique. The analysis used is frequency distribution and chi square statistical test. The results of this study concluded that: Ada significant relationship between the level of knowledge of nurses and the accuracy of the implementation of the Modern Triage of the CTAS system (p value 0.002); Ada significant relationship between nurse skills and the accuracy of the implementation of the Modern Triage of the CTAS system (p value 0.011); Ada significant relationship between the perception of nurse workload and the accuracy of the implementation of the Modern Triage of the CTAS system (p value 0.00 0); Ada significant relationship between the length of work of the nurse and the accuracy of the implementation of the Modern Triage of the CTAS system (p value 0.003); Asignificant relationship between nurse training and the accuracy of the implementation of the Modern Triage CTAS system (p value 0.033). This study recommends improving the competence of all emergency room nurses, particularly through BTCLS training and modern triage of the CTAS system.

Abstract

WHO states the prevalence of Chronic Energy Deficiency (CED) is 35-75% in pregnancy. Even in developing countries, 40 percent of maternal deaths are caused by a lack of protein energy during pregnancy. RISKESDAS 2018 data found that the proportion of pregnant women with CED in Indonesia was 17.3%. The risk for pregnant women with CED is sudden death during childbirth or the risk of low birth weight babies. Provision of additional food (PMT) for local steamed sponge cake can be an effort to improve nutrition. The research objective was to determine the effect of PMT local food on the nutritional status of pregnant women with CED. Type of quantitative research design Quasi experimental design One Group Pre test and Post test. The population of this study is KEK pregnant women, the sampling technique is consecutive sampling. Sample 10 respondents. Research shows Pvalue 0.005 < α 0.05. In conclusion, the provision of local food additives for steamed sponge cake has an effect on the nutritional status of pregnant women with CED. It is suggested to the Puskesmas to vary the PMT menu with local food menus as a snack for pregnant women.

Abstract

Depression is a mental illness that has become a common problem worldwide with more than 300 million cases. The study aimed to determine the effectiveness of natural compound modification with synthetic compounds as new antidepressant drug candidates. The method used in the research is In Silico approach using ChemSketch software, BIOVIA Discovery Studio Visualizer (DSV), and Autodock Vina. The bond-free energy result from a combination of arecoline, homoarecoline and guvacoline with fluoxetine on 2Z5Y protein were -7.1 kcal/mol; -7.1 kcal/mol and -7.6 kcal/mol, respectively. Meanwhile, in 2NW8 protein, the bond free energy observed were -6.3 kcal/mol; -6.3 kcal/mol, and -8.8 kcal/mol, respectively. Based on bond-free energy data, the additive interaction of arecoline-fluoxetine and fluoxetine-homoarecoline on MAO-A protein (2Z5Y) was barely different from fluoxetine itself. Meanwhile, the additive interaction of guvacoline-fluoxetine was better with serotonin precursor protein (2NW8) rather than MAO-A protein (2Z5Y).
