Abstract

Due to its role as an educational facility throughout the early stages of Islam's development in Indonesia, Surau demonstrates institutional existence in educating the country's youth in addition to historical relevance. This study aims to describe the advantages of the surau educational system for elementary school children. Techniques from qualitative and historical research are used in this type of study. Accumulating knowledge through time by studying literature, such as books, magazines, and rules controlling surau educational institutions. Heuristics were used to acquire sources, source critique was used to validate and select material, interpretation was used to interpret historical facts, and historiography stages were used to put the information together into a chronology. The study's conclusions indicate that the following functions of surau education are important: (1) fostering moral and ethical qualities in children; (2) fostering an understanding of Islamic teachings; (3) enhancing moral and ethical qualities; (4) fostering an understanding of Islamic teachings; and (5) fostering the capacity to worship, study, and gather and organize. In light of the fact that the surau education approach influences how kids form their religious identities at an early age, it was decided that it should be incorporated into the contemporary educational system.

Abstract

The teaching profession is considered important as a basic milestone for the progress of a nation, because developed nations have quality education. The quality of education is very dependent on the competence possessed by educators, especially teachers at the elementary age level of SD/MI as the initial level of formal education for the nation's children. This study aims to describe the basic concepts of the teaching profession in primary education institutions SD/MI. This type of research includes a qualitative approach with library research methods. Sources of data and materials for analysis of the study use scientific literature relevant to the topic of discussion, including books, articles, seminar proceedings, and final assignments (thesis, dissertation). The data is obtained from credible sources such as Google Scholar and Sinta. The results of this study concluded that the teaching profession has a code of ethics that students should emulate, which includes teaching skills, mastery of areas of expertise, behavior/personality and teacher communication skills. Because, in it there is an organizational platform, the role of rights and obligations of teachers to guide directing students and evaluating good and specifically directed teaching and learning processes.

Abstract

Kurangnya penggunaan media yang menarik, menyenangkan dan mudah untuk dipahami peserta didik membuat peserta didik kesulitan dalam memahami materi serta sering merasa bosan dan kurangnya motivasi untuk belajar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menciptakan media pembelajaran komik digital yang menarik, adaptif yang memperhatikan minat siswa. Proses pengembangan analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi (ADDIE) digunakan untuk studi penelitian ini. Penelitian ini meliputi metode pengumpulan data di sekolah dasar dan lembar validasi dari validator media, validiator materi, dan validator bahasa. Hasil validasi media 94,7% masuk kategori sangat valid, hasil validasi materi 78,75% masuk kategori sangat valid dan hasil validasi bahasa 75% masuk kategori sangat valid. Dengan bukti ini dapat ditarik kesimpulan penggunaan media komik digital dalam pembelajaran kurikulum merdeka berbasis model PBL di Sekolah Dasar adalah valid.

Abstract

Penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi masih belum sepenuhnya digunakan secara maksimal. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media pembelajaran google classroom terhadap hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas 5 SD Negeri 01 Wonosari. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian eksperimen dengan desain Quasi Experimental Design (desain penelitian eksperimen semu). Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu menggunakan instrumen tes. Dengan 23 siswa kelas 5 SD Negeri 01 Wonosari sebagai kelas eksperimen dan 19 siswa kelas 5 SD Negeri 03 Wonosari sebagai kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan  penelitian yang telah dilakukan membuktikan adanya pengaruh yang diberikan oleh media pembelajaran google classroom terhadap hasil belajar kelas 5 sekolah dasar. Pengaruh yang diberikan dapat dibuktikan dengan hasil uji N-Gain yang menghasilkan nilai sebesar 67,88% yang berada dalam kategori cukup efektif dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol yang hanya menghasilkan nilai N-Gain sebesar 36,42%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan google classroom dapat lebih berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian hendaknya penggunaan media pembelajaran yang berbasis teknologi dapat dipergunakan secara maksimal.

Abstract

The major consideration for pupils during the learning process is morality. This study intends to outline the methods Islamic religious education (PAI) instructors use to boost the spirits of young students. The Mutiara Aulia Medan Sunggal IT Middle School served as the study's location. This study employs a qualitative methodology and a descriptive study design. School principals, PAI teachers, and three students serve as the research's primary data sources. Secondary data are gathered from books, notes, and pertinent scientific papers to supplement the primary data. using procedures such as document analysis, observation, and interviewing to gather research data. data analysis that includes data display, data reduction strategies, and conclusion-making. According to the study's findings, the PAI teachers used habituation techniques and contextual strategies to promote student values. The concrete form comprises prayer sessions before and after class, regular Al-Qur'an recitation exercises, and group prayers during all school-related events, all of which are intended to instill a religious outlook in students. Three things—the skill of PAI professors, proper facilities, and scheduled study time—support this approach. The absence of student knowledge and the surroundings around students who are not yet enthusiastic about worship behavior are both restricting factors.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of cybernetic theory learning in improving student learning outcomes in the SKI subject at MIN 3 Langkat. This type of research is qualitative with a descriptive study method, meaning that the researcher seeks to describe the actual phenomenon through a description of the sentence about the topic of study. Collecting data using the method of observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Data analysis using data reduction techniques, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Furthermore, this research data is declared valid if it meets the criteria of credibility, dependability, and confirmability. The results of this study concluded that learning based on cybernetic theory makes it easier for students to manage information or learning messages, so that students focus on optimizing the learning process. Through an information system and prioritization of the learning process, student learning outcomes in SKI subjects at MIN 3 Langkat have increased. This can be seen from the value of the report card and the quality of student behavior with character.

Abstract

Principal leadership has a crucial and vital role in creating a conducive learning climate in schools, including improving teacher performance. This study aims to analyze the efforts of school principals in improving teacher performance at the basic education level. This research method is a qualitative type, with an analytical descriptive study method. Collecting research data using interviews, observation and documentation studies. Furthermore, the data were analyzed using data reduction techniques, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this study found; (1) the principal's leadership skills in managing information and resolving conflicts between educators; (2) giving suggestions from school principals to teachers about the importance of educating and improving the competence of educators; (3) the efforts of the principal in meeting the needs of teachers to teach, the economic welfare and social welfare (career) of teachers; and (4) providing opportunities for teachers to attend training and continue their studies (education). Thus, it was concluded that the principal's efforts to improve teacher performance were carried out well in schools.

Abstract

The quality of a nation is largely determined by the quality of education. The process towards quality education requires professional educators in accordance with the code of ethics and the teaching profession. This study aims to analyze efforts to develop the competence of the teaching profession at the SD/MI level. This research uses a qualitative approach with the method of literature study. Sources of data and materials for analysis of the study use scientific literature relevant to the topic of discussion, including books, articles, seminar proceedings, and final assignments (thesis, dissertation). The data is obtained from credible sources such as Google Scholar and Sinta. The results of this study conclude that teacher competence is related to the authority to carry out their duties, in this case in using the field of study as learning material that acts as an educational tool, and pedagogical competence related to the teacher's function in paying attention to the behavior of students learning. Teacher competence is the result of a combination of abilities of many types, which can be in the form of a set of knowledge, skills and behaviors that must be possessed, internalized and mastered by teachers in carrying out their professional duties.

Abstract

Implementasi kedisiplinan sangat dibutuhkan pada zaman ini sebagai hasil upaya yang tengah dilakukan Indonesia untuk menciptakan generasi yang unggul. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil implementasi karakter kedisiplinan mulai dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan penilaian melalui mata pelajaran PPKn. Penelitian dilakukan kepada guru dan siswa kelas IVA dan IVB, serta kepala sekolah di SD Negeri Sleman III. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan deskriptif kualitatif ex post facto. Teknik pengumpulan data diperoleh dari hasil wawancara, kuesioner dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan analisis data hasil wawancara, kuesioner dan dokumentasi menunjukkan bahwa guru kelas IV telah mengimplementasikan karakter kedisiplinan yang dimulai dari melakukan merencanakan, melaksanakan, dan penilaian melalui muatan pelajaran PPKn. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa RPP, LKPD dan soal evaluasi adalah sebuah komponen dalam perencanaan implementasi karakter kedisiplinan oleh guru. Terlaksana implementasi karakter kedisiplinan yang dilakukan oleh guru belum 100% sesuai dalam perencanaan RPP. Penilaian dan hasil implementasi karakter kedisiplinan dapat dilaksanakan menggunakan rubrik penilaian yang telah dibuat dalam RPP.

Abstract

Low self-confidence is one of the problems faced by students in the learning process, so that the teacher's efforts are needed to facilitate the improvement of character building in students. This study aims to determine the effect of the SAVI (Somatic, Auditory, Visualization, and Intellectuality) learning model in increasing elementary-aged students' self-confidence. This research was conducted in class VII MTs Yaspend Muslim, with a sample of class VII-3 students. Data analysis used a type of regression analysis. The results of this study found that the effect of the SAVI model on student character building was in the good category, with the Fcount regression test of 37.59 and Ftable of 4.18. Thus, it can be concluded that the SAVI learning model (Somatic, Auditory, Visualization, and Intellectualy) has a positive effect on students' Character Building, because this learning model involves all students' sensory modalities so that students become active.
