Abstract

The ability of students to understand every material available in mathematics learning is not yet optimal. There are still obstacles such as the lack of self-confidence of students to believe that they are able to participate in any given mathematics learning. This causes students to become dependent with other students in each lesson. Based on these problems, this research was conducted with the aim to analyze the significant effect of the Assisted Individualization Team Learning Model Assisted by Student Worksheets on the competence of the fifth grade mathematics competencies of the Lieutenant Colonel Wisnu Cluster. This study is an experimental study with the Nonequivalent Control Group Design research design. The population of this study was 334 students. The sampling technique used in this study was cluster sampling. Data of mathematical knowledge competence is collected through essay tests with 5 valid and reliable questions. The results of the t-test analysis showed tcount> ttable ie 3.27> 2.01 at a significant level of 5% and dk = 51, so H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted, thus it can be concluded that the Learning Model Assisted Individualization Team Assisted Individualization Assisted by Student Worksheets significantly influenced the competence of Mathematical knowledge fifth grade students of the Lt. Col. Wisnu Cluster Group.

Abstract

The implementation of this research is based on the unoptimized assessment instrument, which is the instrument of social attitudes and students science learning results in accordance with the assessment standards. This study aims to produce instruments for assessing social attitudes and learning outcomes of valid and reliable Natural Sciences in Theme 8 of Grade IV elementary school. This research is a development study carried out using the 4D model with 4 stages including: define,  design, development, dissemination, but the dissemination phase is not carried out due to time constraints. Data collection methods used were questionnaires and multiple choice tests. The instrument developed to measure social attitudes was a questionnaire while the instrument developed to measure science learning outcomes was a multiple choice test. This instrument was validated by two experts in the field of social attitudes and science. The results showed the content validity of the social attitude questionnaire and the science learning outcomes were very high with a value of 1.00. The item validity test showed that of the 30 items on the social attitude questionnaire, 28 questions were declared valid, while out of the 30 items on the test of science learning outcomes 25 items were valid. The results of the reliability of the social attitude instrument were stated to be very high with a value of r1.1 = 0.88 and the reliability of the science learning outcomes test was also very high with a value of r1.1 = 0.82. The different power of the Natural Science learning outcomes test instrument is expressed in good criteria with a value of 0.74, while for the difficulty level is in the medium criteria with a value of 0.65. These results indicate that the instrument for evaluating social attitudes and science learning outcomes is expressed in good qualifications and is suitable for use.

Abstract

The low competence of students' science knowledge due to the lack of optimal use of models when learning makes students difficult to understand learning. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of the Guided Inquiry learning model Assisted by the Audio-Visual on the competence of science. This research is a quasi-experimental study with a non-equivalent control group design. The population of this study was 455 students and the study sample was determined using cluster random sampling techniques. Data collection using the test method with instruments in the form of ordinary multiple-choice tests so that the data obtained in the form of science competency values in the form of quantitative data were analyzed using t-test, namely polled variance. The results of the calculation of the data obtained t count = 7,433 > t table = 2,000 at a significance level of 5% (dk = 32+ 32 - 2 = 62) then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means there is an influence of the Guided Inquiry learning model Assisted by the Audio-Visual with groups being taught through conventional learning in grade 4th elementary school..

Abstract

The learning model applied tends to still be centered on the teacher (teacher centered) so this study aims to determine the effect of a quantum learning model assisted by video media on the learning outcomes of fourth grade elementary school science students. This type of research is quasi-experimental research design with Non-equivalent Post-Test Control Group Design. The population in this study were 133 students. Sampling was taken by random sampling. The method used in data collection is an objective test. Data analysis through descriptive and inferential statistical analysis stages. Based on the results of t-test calculations show (t = 5.54 sig = 0.00). This shows that there are differences in science learning outcomes between groups of students who are taught with a quantum learning model assisted by video media and groups of students who are not taught a quantum learning model assisted by video media to fourth grade elementary school students. Thus, the use of a quantum learning model assisted by video media will affect the learning outcomes of science students in grade IV elementary school.

Abstract

The low competency of student mathematical knowledge was the main problem on this research. That was due to the lack of an effective learning models and the students in the class was still receivers it made the students become inactive. This study aimed to analyze the significant influence of the Cooperative Realistic Setting (RESIK) learning model assisted by peer tutors on the mathematics competence of the fifth grade of Elementary School. The type of research was quasi-experimental with a non-equivalent control group design. The population was 329 fifth grade students of Elementary School while the sample used was 70 students by using cluster random sampling technique. Data collection technique using multiple choice test instruments. The analysed data was normalized gain scores from the results of the pretest and posttest using the polled variance t-test. The result of tcount = 11.7563 and ttable = 1.9955 at α = 0.05 and dk = 68. Because tcount > ttable then H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted. It can be concluded that there was a significant influence of the Cooperative Realistic Setting (RESIK) learning model assisted by peer tutors on the mathematics competence of the fifth grade of elementary school. The results of this study can be used as reading material in further research designs.

Abstract

Science learning outcomes of fourth grade students in elementary schools still tend to be low. The learning model used by teachers still dominates conventional learning. ThisThis research is a quasi-experimental (Quasi Experiment), with a Non Equivalent post-test only control group design. The population in this study were all grade IV elementary school students, and by using the random sampling method, two research samples were obtained, the experimental group and the control group class. Multiple choice tests were chosen as a method of data collection, for the analysis of the data in this study descriptive statistical analysis techniques and t-tests were used. After analyzing the data, the result of tcount (4.84) <ttable (2.01) shows that the Problem Based Learning model has a significant effect on the science learning outcomes of Grade IV students. Based on the results of research that has been done the Problem Based Learning model has a significant effect on the learning outcomes of Natural Sciences.
