Abstract

This research was conducted in Singaraja City using high-resolution remote sensing images and geographic information systems. The purpose is to use remote sensing images and geographic information systems to identify slum settlements, especially the former harbor area in Singaraja City. Slum settlement is the impact of population growth that is difficult to control. As a result, the remote sensing image can identify three features: slums, non-slum settlement, and non-slum areas. Most slum settlements are located in coastal areas, and non-slum settlements are located in areas close to economic locations and tourist sites and offices. The most significant introduction to slum identification comes from the building area. Based on these results, it can be concluded that slum settlement can be identified through images obtained from Google earth and recognized visually through interpretation keys.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between financial literacy and human capital on the performance of Village-Owned Enterprise. Village-Owned Enterprise has an important role in building the economy in the village. However, the condition that occurs is that there are still many conditions of rural community human resources, especially Village-Owned Enterprise officials, who do not have good management skills and financial literacy in managing Village-Owned Enterprise. This research uses explanatory research, research sites are in Sigi and Poso Regencies. The population of this research is the management of Village-Owned Enterprise in Sigi and Poso Regencies, amounting to around 300 people representing each village in Sigi and Poso Regencies. Based on the results of the questionnaire distribution, a sample of 75 Village-Owned Enterprise administrators in Sigi and Poso districts was obtained. Financial literacy in Sigi village and even more so in Poso district is still far from perfect, because Village-Owned Enterprise administrators in SIGI and Poso in general are unable to use village participation funds accountably. This is due to the weak capacity of Village-Owned Enterprise administrators in managing Village-Owned Enterprise planning, implementation and financial reporting. The results of this study prove that the human capital of Village-Owned Enterprise administrators has an effect on Village-Owned Enterprise performance. This indicates that the community, including Village-Owned Enterprise administrators, has the potential to innovate so that it will have an impact on Village-Owned Enterprise performance.

Abstract

The world is currently experiencing a disastrous disease outbreak that is very disturbing to humans, namely the Coronavirus outbreak. This virus originates and originates from the city of Wuhan, China. Another name for Coronavirus is the Covid-19 outbreak. Indonesia is one of the countries in the world affected by this virus until it has entered a pandemic status. The Indonesian government and the people have tried their best to fight this pandemic and many policies have been issued regarding health protocols to protect the nation from this very fast-spreading disease outbreak. One of the policies issued is the new normal, which is a situation where all community activities can be carried out as usual but are still required to comply with existing regulations. For examples, wearing a mask, staying away from the crowd, and washing your hands cleanly. It cannot be denied that this policy can bring about social changes or changes in habits in society towards a society that is responsive to health, hygienic, and cares for the environment.

Abstract

The corona virus pandemic has shaken not only Wuhan, but also the world. This virus has spread widely to almost all countries in a short time. Meanwhile, in Indonesia the corona virus began to be detected when two Indonesian citizens (WNI) tested positive for the corona virus on March 1, 2020. The two Indonesians had previously had contact with a foreign national (WNA) from Japan who lived in Malaysia at an event. in Jakara. Based on data up to April 20, 2020, the number of victims due to the corona virus was 6,760 cases. A total of 590 of them died and 747 people were declared cured. Termination of Employment (PHK) is something that is very feared by employees. This is due to the chaotic economic conditions which have an impact on many companies that have to go out of business, and of course have an impact on the unilateral termination of employment by employers. To protect workers' rights due to layoffs, the Government as one of the elements in carrying out industrial relations has provided legal protection guarantees for workers whose employment has been terminated by employers as regulated in Chapter XII, precisely in Article 150-172 of Law Number 13 of 2003 concerning Manpower.

Abstract

The development of information technology, media and communication at this time has changed the behavior of society and human civilization globally. In this regard, in addition to the positive benefits arising from the development of information technology and so on, such as the emergence of facilities or media that can make it easier for humans to work, there are also negative impacts, such as crimes in cyberspace. One of the crimes in cyberspace in question is hate speech. These actions can be classified into criminal acts, because these actions will have an impact on society in general. Moreover, this action was carried out from outside the State of Indonesia using social media facilities, of course it would be very difficult to determine the place (locus delicti) and time (tempus delicti) to try the perpetrators of the hate speech crime. For this reason, it is necessary to know how to determine the locus and tempus delicti of the crime or crime in question.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the development of settlements that occur over the next 20 years. Monitoring the development of settlements is carried out by remote sensing methods using Landsat 7 ETM+ imagery and Landsat 8 OLI imagery. Landsat 7 ETM+ used in 2000, and Landsat 8 OLI used in 2019. The algorithm is used to identify settlement development using the Normalized Dryness Built-up Index (NDBI). This algorithm uses two bands, such as Near-infrared and shortwave infrared, to calculate. The results showed that the growth of settlements occurred very significant because, in 2000, the number of settlements amounted to 628.2 hectares and in 2019 amounted to 1891.8 hectares. The increase in settlements occurred throughout the region in the Buleleng sub-district. Therefore, it can be concluded that NDBI can be used to monitor the development of settlements and the increase in settlements occurring as much as 28 % over 20 years.

Abstract

The adoption or adopting transfer of rights to child from authority of parents, legal guardians, or other people who responsible for nurturing, educating, and raise the child to his foster parents family based on law or sentence. Adoption might be conducted to Indonesian children by parents of Indonesian or even in some special cases, adoption can be conducted by foreign nationals. The adoption of Indonesian children by foreign nationals is restricted. This is due to the protection of foster-children who adopted by foreign nationals, so that they do not experience unwanted things considering that the child will be taken abroad by the foster parents. Incidents such as children who, after being taken by their foster parents, experience violence or become victims of human trafficking are things that must be considered before deciding to allow the adoption of Indonesian children by foreign nationals.

The results of this study revealed that the validity of the developed student worksheets was excellent. It was indicated by the average test scores of material and design experts which was about 83.75% and 81.58% and considered having very good quality. The readability test in class A and B obtained an average score of 82.27% and 80.64% with very good quality. The results also showed that the developed worksheets were able to improve students' critical thinking skills. This could be seen from the n-gain values in class A and B of 0.74 and 0.78 in the medium category, and the sig value. in the paired sample t test of 0.00 in both classes. Teachers and students gave good responses to the developed worksheets. In conclusion, Tri Hita Karana based student worksheets with the feasibility and effectiveness in improving students' critical thinking skills were successsfully developed.
